Amazing idea of using the air compressor to remove the handle 👌 also agree with the suggestion from Tyler to try the trigger / finger throttle before changing to thumb throtle. We prefer finger over thumb throttle BUT that's the beauty of our world we all have our own preferences. Great 👍 tutorial. #PEVRidersClub

The trigger version is just plain dangerous. I’ve been riding motorcycles since I was eight years old and when I first got my Eagle One confusing that trigger for the break in panic situations almost ruined me more than once.
Yeah I hate the trigger. If you have big hands it's on both the trigger and the brake...def ordering thumb

in general I think the trigger is alot better because you keep your thumb around the throttle, keeping your grip. but not like it is in the video, it needs to be way down for ergonomics.

I'm gonna go with a yes 👌🏼 the comments on the provided link for the plug and play thumb throttle had a comment where a person said it worked great for their varla eagle one as recent as January 2022. I'm debating getting one for mine as well, the trigger throttle doesn't feel safe to me 😂

Hey! You can get this for your Vsett 10+ you will no longer be able to lock your vehicle though.

But there is no connector to disconnect the lcd display. It looks it is connectet direktly in the deck. What do you think will i have a hall sensor in the origanal trottle and shoult i risk to upgrade without disconnect the original trottle??

After doing research, I noticed there are versions of these LCD’s with a thumb throttle and some with an extra power supply cable to allow for powering external accessories from the main battery. However, I haven’t found any with a thumb throttle and extra power cable. I’m wondering if this is possible? Does the thumb throttle use the connections that the extra power supply cable would use? I’m thinking it might, and that is why there aren’t any with both.
I haven't seen any thumb throttles with an additional power cable, and I'm unsure if it uses the same power cable as the extra power supply. Your question might be better posed to a Facebook or reddit group. All the best!

Great Job, can i get that also for my Dualtron and Vsett ? I do hate the trigger function my hands starts to hurt after a while.
Zero Thumb throttle will work on VSETT but, you lose the NFC card reader function. With trigger throttle you might try adjusting down so it's parallel with the top of the hand grip. If you do this then also lower the right hand brake lever.
You think this throttle swap would be possible with bronco extreme 11?
We have not tested that brand of device here at out facility, so we cannot guarantee a successful trial.

I just installed a thumb throttle on my 11x,I wrote down all the P-settings from original unit,but the thumb throttle doesnt engage,so i plugged in the old unit and it works fine,are the P-settings the same for thumb throttle?
Not all QS-S4 displays (Thumb or Trigger) are the same. They can be flashed with different settings. Contact the company you bought the Thumb Throttle from.

Would it be possible for you to make a tutorial on switching to a twist throttle as well?
I mostly see scooters either with that pull or thumb throttle, but never twist.
Why is that? Safety, to prevent giving full throttle if lets say you lose your balance backwards?
It just seems so much more ergonomic using a twist throttle, as more of your hand is actually gripping the handle while riding. For me at least, I like to rest two fingers on each break lever while riding, and that makes it a tad awkward with the pull throttle since the index finger will operate the throttle at all times, and with the thumb throttle I feel my grip on the handle bar less solid.

Hello! Yes, we have experimented with the twist throttles. The full twist is dangerous for newer riders, and can be unpredictable. Because the rider is not seated, more grip is needed on the handlebars to keep balance at times. We prefer to use the Half-twist throttle that is common on ebikes. Once we can source and supply this type of throttle, it will be offered on our site for purchase. If you are comfortable with soldering, wiring in an eBike twist throttle is pretty straightforward. @@RevRides360 I have a great question for you, I am interested in a twist throttle that starts you off slow, because I notice that all the cheap $15 twist throttles that I a have used, knock you off the saddle as soon as you barley turn it to its minimal activation point, I am looking for a throttle that starts off very slow and gradually starts accelerating to full speed. Since we do not carry that particular scooter, we can't say for certain. We recommend contacting your manufacture or dealer for a definite answer.

Or you can save $70 and move your standard LCD throttle to the left side of a handlebar and install it upside-down for your thumb acceleration.

When unplugging the trigger throttle, will the mileage data And other preference settings become lost before plugging it back in?
PT, this information is retained in the LCD - if you change it out, it will be reset. In other words, the odometer and preferences are tied to the LCD, not the scooter.

Hello, E10 is a communication error between the LCD and controller in the scooter deck. We suggest inspecting the wiring for damage, and possibly replacing the LCD unit if there is no wiring damage.

The data is not transferred to the new LCD.
I have a nanrobot D6+ and wanted a thumb throttle. From what i understand its the same scooter as the zero10x. Where can you buy that thumb throttle having trouble finding one on ebay amazon bangood etc... Great videos thank you.

Yes, this throttle assembly will work on the VSETT 10+ but it will eliminate your NFC reader. We recommend waiting until we develop a specific VSETT thumb throttle.

I can’t use gloves with trigger because my fingers get stuck when I try to brake so I ordered the thumb thing I highly recommend that and the double clamp lock for handlebar the stock one is not secure at all shame on you for not making that standard wtf

This error is faulty communications between the LCD and the Controller.
The Zero 10x is a peice of junk it broke after a month of use first with flats then over heating then the throttle got stuck on me and kept going and I almost died using it after that I took it back and got my money back

It's probably recommended only once your warranty expires, installing the DIY one will void your warranty.
