that’s actually a “science lab” i did in 7th/8th grade. i had a science teacher for those two years, her name was ms. brown. i miss her, she always made sure to find food related labs so that not only was it fun, but we could also have a treat at the end. i also remember this oreo lab we did, it was for earth’s tectonic plates, and another involving melting starbursts but i don’t remember exactly why. it’s been awhile, but damn they were always fun
Omg lol my science teacher was named Ms. Brown and we did those exact same labs. It brings back so many memories. Just out of curiosity @Spam Account are u from Cleveland, OH by any chance?
@@WayP-l1n nahh, i live in florida. idk where she lived before she moved to florida, but 8th grade year was her last there. she thought the kids were too wild (can’t blame her, the kids in my school would rather bang on the walls and twerk than act like proper humans) and decided to move to atlanta. i hope she’s happy though, i always had fun in her class and she could read my handwriting even when i myself struggled reading it at times 😅
2 cups of milk splash of cream half a cup of sugar vanilla and stir it up pour it in a big bag and close it up put it in a container with ice and rock salt shake shake shake shake shake if your arms get tired pass it to your brother carefully cut the bag add a cherry on top :)
I did this as a project in 3rd grade, we had a small bag, put milk & vanilla extract in the tiny bag, the teacher gave us a big bag and put ice inside it, we put the small bag inside the big bag and put another bag over the big bag, it didn’t work for a few of the students (including me) but it worked for some (the first people who got the big bag first finished first)
We used to do this at my grandma's house! We put the bags in little barrels (knowing my grandfather they may have been repurposed paint cans!) and 2 cousins sit across from each other and roll them back and forth. In less than 30 minutes, you have enough ice cream for the whole family, and the kids are exhausted! Definitely double bag though. Nobody likes salty ice cream!
Try whipping some cream to stiff packs, puree some sweetened condensed milk, light corn syrup, a pinch of salt, vanilla and fold it into the cream. Freeze and it's ice cream. Enjoy
When i made it the first time salt got in the bag so I make sure to double bag, the bag with the ice cream in it before shake it. if it gets too cold or too tiring and you don’t want to shake it anymore if you have a trampoline, put the bag on there and jump, it helps
Place 1 zipped sandwich bag containing... 1 c half-n-half milk 2 TBSP granulated sugar 1/2 tsp vanilla Into a gallon zip lock bag half filled with ice and 1/2 c ice cream Rock salt. Zip and shake it for 5 min. Yum😊
I do this nearly every day instead of actually buying ice cream, speaking of, there’s some in my fridge with edible cookie dough bites and crumbled up cookies
Hey I just did this two weeks ago in science!!!😂 for future 7th graders, my partner and I shook it up and down for about 10 minutes and we got literally no where. We shook it back and forth in our hands for 5 minutes and we had a beautiful consistency!!!😂
"And when your hands get tired lass it to your brother" is so true. That's why I've have a brother for 21 years. That kid was born to do things I don't wanna do
