Wow. I would have made a pen set with all Grey Pens to change the electrical plan view, but your simple box over it was genius. Keeps the template clean and simple. Thanks!
thanks for your video. Helpful. but how do you indicate the height of wall power points & wall lights ? & how to differentiate single-control switches from multi-control switches? Thx
Nice, really fast though. I’m looking for a video to learn all of this from scratch. I’ve no technical drawing experience and never heard of archicad before. Well… I’m training in the electrical industry and know basic technical drawing stuff, but looking to upgrade my drafting skills so I can draw out the floorplan for any load assessments I do.
I agree it's ideal to have as much BIM as possible. My aim here is to share how I layout the reflected ceiling & electrical plans with a quick & minimal set up. The over all approach can be modified to implement more BIM if needed, but for all the projects I've complete, builder, client & consultants where happy & it was enough. In future though, I might remake the video and showcase more BIM.
Hi there, if you want to save the time of drawing it yourself. I have the ArchiCAD file available over on my patreon, along with every other tutorial file. I'll put a link below to the electrical plan post. www.patreon.com/posts/electrical-plans-83831435?Link&

Thanks, yeah this is a bit more of an advanced tutorial. Some of my other ones cover the fundamentals step-by-step at a more steady pace.
Turn your symbols into objects then make a schedule for the legend.
Hi!
May I ask how to import the legend into archicad
thanks!
How can i get legend to my archicad
Which application do I use
ArchiCAD
You are making 2D drawings in in BIM. Why no use electrical fixtures. This is all manual work whats the point.
