Like another guy said, don’t need to remove rear seats at all. Made their job far harder than needed it to be. Took ten minutes to remove boot lining and expose the bolt either side. My model is exactly the same saloon with seats that don’t fold.
Hi mate I know this is few year old, IV got to replace mine, can you go into more detail how you did it without removing the rear seat as I'd like to see before I put it into the garage and they try removing the seat at more cost ?
Jeez, talk about making life difficult for yourself.😂 You don't have to remove the rear seat to change the spring and strut. Just remove the unclip the side of the boot liner and remove the block of foam from the cavity and the top of the strut is easily accessed (both sides of the car) I changed all four springs and struts on my driveway in one day. Here's a link for a video on how to do it properly: ruclips.net/video/yOCBdbFTvis/видео.htmlsi=_RifupF2QgYgUFLV

I love that he says "you don't know what you're doing guys" at the end, when it's clearly him that doesn't know what he's doing.
😂 Unbelievable.
Yeah agreee you dont have to take seats out. Just perl back lining in corner and remove sponge. Easy to access ?😮
True! done this my 159 saloon, no seat removing at all.
You can just remove the upper central shock nut from the trunk and dont loose time to remove the seat.
Tried couple of times.
So the seats don’t need to come out to access the top bolt on the saloon 159?
@@Jackanackanorie yep
Stanimir Iliev how do you do it without removing seats? 👍
@@Jackanackanorie from trunk as i already said
Stanimir Iliev well that’s obvious yes but what do you remove in the trunk to get to it (without removing seats)
suscribed, THAT'S a proper explanation, thank you.
Yeah, and it's also wrong, very wrong.
Thanks for this channel Eddy, keep it up.
Best Alfa 159 Channel
Lol, the bloke is clueless when it comes to a 159
😀 He's just unnecessarily ripped someone's car apart. You can remove the struts top nut from the boot. 😀
God man
I believe it was a German who was in charge of the development of the 159.
The platform of the 159 is from Opel
Think I will buy a 3 series then
