HOW TO MAKE LASAGNA in the AIR FRYER

- I love lasagna but it takes so long to prepare with fresh ingredients and an oven. I cut the time in half, but not the flavor, by using oven ready noodles, jarred Marinara and my air fryer. This recipe is beyond incredible and so easy.

Ingredients
1 lb ground beef (16oz) I use a 97/3 lean
1 tbsp garlic paste, you can use minced (15ml)
1/2 an onion, diced
1 tsp salt and pepper (5g)
1 tsp Oregano, ground (5g)
1 tsp basil, ground (5g)
1/2 cup fresh parsley, Chopped (115g)
Cheese amounts are your preference
I used ricotta, mozzarella and parmesan
Oven ready lasagna noodles
1 jar Marinara sauce
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the garlic and onions. Cook about 2 minutes
Add the ground beef and cook until almost all pink is gone.
Add the salt, pepper, Oregano and basil, mix well
Turn the heat down so no splatters and add the Marinara, mix well.
Turn off the heat and add the fresh parsley
Either line your baking dish with foil or Parchment paper or spray with a non stick spray.
Let's begin the layers...
Sauce, noodles, sauce, cheese, noodles, sauce, cheese etc... continue until you have all the layers you want. Mine was 5 layers deep.
Cover with foil
Air fry 360°F/182°C for 25 minutes, covered
Remove the foil and continue to cook an additional 10 minutes until brown and bubbly.
Let rest at least 15 minutes before cutting.
Enjoy!!!

The ricotta should have been mixed with the Parmesan cheese and a beaten egg should have been added to help the lasagna hold together. Just a pro tip. I also like to add in a touch of sharp cheddar in my cheese blend for a little added pop of flavor and color. You could also add chopped spinach to the ricotta/parm/egg blend.

Where did you find your little lasagna pan?
I bought it off Amazon... it's the 8in which fits in my little air fryer... it has a lip to it that my husband just bent upwards for me otherwise it didn't quite fit... 😀
Where did you get/buy the pasta noodles at?
I buy them at walmart... they are made by Barilla and called oven ready pasta... they are a game changer!!! So easy, you just use them straight out of the box
