My top five are #1 white Gibbs pencil popper. 3 1/2 oz #2...1 1/2 oz white bucktail with white mister twister 6". #3 albino shad 7". #4 heavy striper bomber #5 storm shad
You have a couple of nice options for this, if you're fishing for stripers. For the top of the water, use a metal lip. Searching the middle, 3ft down, use a SP/LC Minnow. Lastly, for the 6ft - 10ft areas, use No Live Bait Needed. We suggest a 1oz jig head, since the body weighs 1.5oz as well. Solid options for some good searching!

What would be a good search lure for an aqueduct/reservoir about 6 to 10 feet deep from the bank?

The best freshwater lure hands down is a 6 in senko, with anise oil. If you're talking about stripers, try rattle traps. And small poppers
