Nicely made. He does however do something you should avoid if at all possible. That is holding a hardened shank tool like an end mill in a lathe chuck. The grip on the hardened shank is not good and you run the risk of having the end mill sucked out of the chuck jaws into the work. The trick is to get end mill holders with Morse taper shanks to fit into the lathe's spindle. These holders use a set screw to hold the end mill (or drill chuck) in place on the flat ground into the shank of the end mill. These holders aren't expensive. They also have internal threads on the end of the Morse taper so that a drawbar through the spindle will retain the taper and allow easy removal of the tapered shank.
