    I heard you can fit 1/10th coins in the Summit box. I thought that was why you opened the eagle. I can't read the Roman Numerals on the eagle, but they only did those the first few years. I have some 1's, some 2's, and some 5's. I got a heck of a deal on them when I got them. Dumb beginners luck had me buy them in the biggest dip of 2022, and then there was a smoking deal on the premiums on top of that with the amount I spent. I have turned a few of them into silver since then when the price dictated. And then a couple went into the sterling purchase to get the silver cell going. They were used wisely. Lol
    Edit : Love that wallet. That's cool

    It is like you have to have a bunch of money to make money. Buying fractional gold with those outrageous premiums will take way too long to make a profit and when it does become profitable you won't make as much. Just like you said, try to buy at spot or closest to it as possible.

    • @WorldMoneyWins
      @WorldMoneyWins  3 дня назад

      I recently did a 1-year long experiment showing that buying fractional is better for those that cannot afford a 1 oz piece. I don't consider converting gold back into paper as "profit"
      For me gold is the finish line. Most people are slaves to the paper that they desire so much

    Great Video! New to silver and gold, but I don't have an LCS in my area and I noticed that even if I buy 1oz of silver at spot by the time I add taxes and shipping I end up paying like $8 on top of spot price... unless I buy $200+ in order to qualify for free shipping. Any tips/advice for low premiums if I only want to buy like a few ounces of silver or 1 gram of gold?

    • @WorldMoneyWins
      @WorldMoneyWins  12 дней назад +1

      Hero bullion has a $150 threshold to get free shipping, but everywhere else I believe you have to pay $200 to get the free shipping. Otherwise you can look for coin shows in the area, or sometimes you can find deals on Facebook marketplace, but you have to be careful of fakes that way

      Not for this experiment. This experiment is for people that can only afford to buy fractional, so it's showing whether it's better to save up a small amount of money every month, or just to buy the gold right away.
      For your example if we use the spot price at the time of purchase, you can't have that in the future later anyway, so it doesn't have any bearing

    Given that 99.9% of businesses will never accept gold/silver for payment why would you want to pay the exorbitant premium on fractionals? You're better off just saving up and getting an ounce or better yet just invest in a spot price ETF which has no premiums and no hassles from an unscrupulous LCS when you want to sell. It's also far easier to hand down to beneficiaries who don't have to worry about a LCS taking advantage of them. They simply sell the ETF share for the full market value when they want.

    • @WorldMoneyWins
      @WorldMoneyWins  11 дней назад

      @@gregorygreene1940 You must not have watched the video. My last four fractional gold videos have proven that it's cheaper to purchase monthly as you go fractional, over saving up for a full ounce of gold.
      I don't fantasize about using it in a grocery store. If I need money, I'll sell a little bit of fractional, or I will take out a loan against my vaulted gold holdings and instead of paying capital gains tax, I will write off the interest.
