@@JMaxRCI just rewatched the old Batman movies, remember it coming out when I was much younger, still really great movies! Cool RC toy, it actually works so well. 👌
holy bat drone did you say you made that wicked cool and how much to make me one as soon as i see it i was about to go on ebay and look for one but now i know it is a one of a kind good job dude
i saw a weird object in t he sky the day of the eclipse , it looked like two boomerangs for plane wings, it moved like a jet , or a falcon diving but it moved around across the sky so fast I dont think it was a bird cuz it never moved its wings and it was moving so fast across the sky not just a dive position, wtf was it ?
Anyway, I was in the aviation program for high school a few decades ago, and here's one thing I understood and know why a batwing is very real to fly. Lift is directly proportional to the surface area of an object. The whole entire batwing is all surface area which produces lift including the fuselage. I don't believe there would be an issue even if it was produced life-size to be functional for a human pilot.
100% I categorize it in the lifting body flying wing aircraft since it feels and flies like a flying wing. I see no reason it wouldn’t behave better at a larger scale either. I will eventually scale it to 90mm and I’ll see what happens
Dooood, THAT is super kewl! I'm truly am impressed and surprised that it actually flies! I'm also surprised that none of the major RC plane manufacturers hasn't come out with their Batwing after all these years. Nice job!
Honestly, even if the Joker and Riddler steal F-22's, in close quarters, Batman will smoke them like a fine cigar. Amazing build, and even more amazing aerodynamics.
That's so awesome. I've recently got down the RC rabbit hole and I was looking at a model of it I had from when I was a kid and wondered if it would actually fly.
no stickers just black but clear canopy with Batman inside would be cool maybe small sivler guns on the front like in the movie just for the look I know I had a model kit of the batwing and it had the guns had it for many years but it went down the road or in the trash
Gratulation. In the End its a stunning and very exciting Masterpice. And I like your style of reporting, and also during "Nervous Pilot" Realtime Flight experience. Hope there will come more exciting reportings and also flying things from you.. Always Happy Landings from Captain Moonlight in Warstein/Germany
Not so long ago I saw a guy in the supermarket late @ night, full silk batman Pajama ensemble including batman slippers, the only things missing was the pipe & the Bruce Wayne smoking jacket, he looked very @ ease & relaxed.
Happy belated birthday my man 🎂!!! I hope you and your wife see some dreams come true, that is my gift to you...good luck regarding the batwing. Very cool project and I haven't seen so many comments expressing a level of joy and exhuberance in a long time. May I suggest watching Van Halen's music video "Dreams"? See around sometime maybe......
I wish I could, I just don’t have the time to tie up the printers for 1.5 days. I’m always printing new designs. Plus the shipping alone would be $50 I’m guessing.
The Batwing looks great in the air. I think the thing that makes it even more cool is how it has some inertia as it responds to big control inputs. Compared to my 'scale' aircraft it looks more scale in flight. It is quite an achievement - Bravo!
When printing on multiple printers are there any scale issues that pop up? Did you print out calibration cubes to dial your printers in so these pieces all fit together using multiple printers?
how the hell does it get lift? I was sitting here for like 5 minutes thinking this has to be some sort of camera trick.... lol - can anyone explain the aero on this?
Oh no... not in Florida with PLA 8 months out of the year. That thing would be looking like a hot mess after one flight in the sun. Pretty cool though. I'd print it out of ASA, but only have 64mm fans and honestly that is just by chance since I've never purchased anything smaller than 80mm. I don't think I've ever seen smaller than 64mm except in Horizon RTFs or something.
It FLIES really well 😎👍 & it also SOUNDS fantastic! 👂💨💨 💨 But it’s absolutely CRYING OUT for a LARGER SCALE version - so as to really SHOW OFF that iconic shape… ✌️🤩
The brain knows its attitude automatically. Comes with experience. If you have to actively look and wait to see what attitude its in, you are behind the plane and crash a couple of times due to loss of orientation. It's a normal learning process.

That is a pretty darn cool looking aircraft you have there!!!
I'm not a RC person or fan BUT your Bat Wing looks and sounds great 👍🏾🇬🇧
this is killer. i need to dive into your build video.
Nice work, thanks for sharing. 👍
great job building that..

Take the glider out 😂
If you could get it to do the “moon” scene, it would be unstoppable!
Right ! Please fly that on a bright lite night over the moon light
@@donniewoodland8467 would be cool, but the batwing is true to its lore. It's so black you'd have trouble to see it at night XD

@@Mandred85 good point making it probably better then the B21 stealth bomber
Oktoberfest exist but cant buy it
So you proved that in fact, a Batwing can fly. Now somebody needs to make a full-size one that one can fly inside of!
That would be very cool and very very expensive .
@@ThomasDoubting5 It's only money. Just imagine what he could charge at airshows!
1st Prototype study had ist Maiden flight now👍
I wonder if he could get ahold of the updated f22 stealth tech to make it with, that would make this a true batwing then.

Yeah! Not like Batman is a brand owned by anybody that would sue or anything... 😀

Well clearly it works full scale because Batman flew one decades ago
Let's build one a person can fly!
@@hotlapkyle has anyone built a cockpit with a camera in it, so one could fly it from the cockpit's POV?
The stalling in front of the full moon, flexing the bat symbol into the rolling nose dive is what I would HAVE to try with this beast!
Look at that plane. It would be a bat with a really long neck.
🦒🦇🌕
The 8 year old in me is VERY happy this day 😍😍😍
This is hypnotic. Really makes me feel as if the Batwing could exist and be a highly maneuverable aircraft, worthy of the Batman.
It looks absolutely amazing. And the sound it makes...oh my 😃 Any chance you'll make a bigger one?
Anyone can scale my designs up to any size because my designs use slicer generated infill so you can just glue the parts together if you split them
And DARPA said it wouldn’t work. Get this thing to the Ukrainian army!
@@hotlapkyle can u please share me the plans and specifications? 😢😅😊

Imagine with a camera inside.
🦉🐯 Without wanting to sound too American… that’s the coolest thing I’ve seen in a while dude!!!
Wait, the Batwing can actually fly? This is 11.5 min of pure joy for this comic nerd.
The original design allows it to fly so well. It looks so agile. Whoever created the 89' Batwing should be hired in engineering.
That was production designer Anton Furst, who unfortunately took his own life years ago.
Degreed Aerospace Engineer here to state this is NOT a stable design and only flies because enough thrust will make anything fly.
My God, this thing just cuts through the air.
So..the designer of Batwing was a genius. Just drew the thing out and it flies like a dream!
