I swapped it out with a heavier vest that can also take large soft armour panels as well as SAPI. Too many foreign volunteers think they’re gonna be high speed and low drag door kickers. I know if I end up there I’m gonna be shitting myself in a trench avoiding artillery, so I’d rather have all the armour I can take. If I need to move, I’ll move fast 😂👍
No no what you’re thinking of is an IFAK my dude. A medkit I’m assuming is for the medic for everyone else. An IFAK(Individual First Aid Kit) is used by the soldier for his OWN self aid. IFAKs are generally placed in the same area of the body as every other soldier in your unit so that if you cannot apply self aid, any soldier from your unit knows where it is and can render aid to you until the medic comes.
I know my brother in law was very appreciative of the equipment I sent him. Saw a picture of him in uniform, and decided he needed better. Best body armor with ceramic plates you can get. The plates are made in Italy, the body armor made in Nevada.

There was a cadence we would say in the army about the trench shovel aka E Tool ok here it goes . See that haji dressed in black with my E- Tool in his back oh the hood ol days . Little did I know 6 months later I’m in Iraq but they weren’t wearing black just like track suits with sneakers they always had like running shoes
