I can safely say this was SUPER.
Love seeing the new shop. Fun to see where you work and other project in the background! Congrats on the growth!
Mate really impressed with your work. That 90 looks like the real deal now! cannot wait to see it done.
When I used to comp safari them we used 130 brakes on them worked really well
And spares were cheap and easy to get .
Great video
Great video Sam as always. Thanks for continuing with your output, I know it’s hard when you are busy with the actual business. ⚡️🙏
Loving the vid keep up the great work 👌👊
Loving the soundtrack today 😎
Defender brakes are quite up to the job in my opinion, unless your running a LS engine or equivalent. Problems arise with sticking pistons and leaking back master cylinders, master cylinders been a big issue with pedal travel problems...... also watch out for cracked servos around the radius of the m/c mounting.
Nice being told a rough price so we can have a rough idea of how much a build would cost, great video 👍
2500 GBP
He did say , you no listen !
Great channel and really enjoying the builds. Giving loads of inspiration for my own 90 build, thanks for that!
Guessing 18” rims for those breaks, time for me to upgrade!! The wife will not be happy 🤭
That defender 90 is a beast 👍
Great upgrade and great video. Still would to see you fit a defender body to your old disco.
Wow she really is a beast. Good job
Awesome video! Really enjoying your content at the moment. Looking to buy my first Defender 90 in the near future, any tips when it comes to finding the right one?
Not been getting notifications from your uploads. When I tried to click the bell icon RUclips blurted out something about it being child based content, and their policy is to block notifications for this type of content.
Quick fix was to unsubscribe and resubscribe and the bell icon worked again. Just info for anyone else having the same problem.
Great content as usual. Love to watch people working on landrovers.
Great video again. Very inspiring!! I love the rims and wheels. Can you pls. let me know what type of rims and wheels are on this Defender, and where I can get them? Thanks. I am looking to change my wheels on my TD5 and would love to have these.
Loving the builds would like to know the roof rack make
Every Land Rover/ RRC/ Disco I've owned has pulled to the left under heavy breaking. In standard spec they are more than capable but with any engine upgrade on any vehicle you need to equally upgrade the breaks!.
Great video as usual. would have liked to have seen caliper fitted in real time rather than high speed version, you could have then done away with the second viewing at speed. Kit looks really good, I take it the bearings were OK, good time to replace if not.
Also i just thought of a cool idea what about doing fan reviews of their landys? Would make a fun video :)
Super!
Absolutely fabulous looking defender. @dougdemuro would be frothing at the mouth reviewing that.
Well...
I watch your videos out of pure interest on what is possible at the moment ...
Never mind that I think some of the stuff you doin sir, is waaaaaaay over the top what I would do.
However...
The options seems endlessly and really crazy.... all in all...
She is a beast... but a beauty...👍
...
PS. One question sir... Dutch plates and right hand side steering..?🤔
Cracking 90. Is the series 1 yours great time of year for one. Could you do a video on it please.
Do you guys do defenders only or do you have plans to work on Discovery 2's at all?
Those wheels are so nice! Classic and simple sometimes is the best option you can have.
What is the brand and the specifications of them?
do you need to use 18" rims or the standard 16" fit that kit? I have been looking for an upgrade kit for my RR Classic, but they all mention that 18" rims must be used. From which supplier did you purchase it? Thanks!
Does this have a standard engine & turbo..doesn't sound like it. What turbo has been installed? Fab breaks!
do you know if range rover calipers and discs would fit i think they are 6 pot as putting range rover wheels on a build would be handy to know and fit them if possible ,ive warped my standard ones in just over 2000 miles as i am a bit heavy footed lol
Whos is the s1? nice motor
Is a larger master cylinder booster needed?
Might be worth adding them on to mine 7th April?!
My Nissan Skyline has Brembo 6 pot brake calipers, grooved+drilled discs.. They were over £2000 quid.. But like you said, if its fast, you need to stop too...
Beast d90
Where did you get the light bar from
PERFECT JOB !! Robbie U K
Yo do an awesome job, wish you could upgrade my landy
Are you having to run 18” rims ?
My defender vears to the left if i put my foot on the clutch to soon and diss engage the engine from the gearbox may want to advise braking in this way to stop it from vearing to one side
Wow 👍👍
Ghosts opening drawers @ 2:48? 👻😀
Is it worth doing on a proper off roader? I have a 90 pick up with 35's and a 4 inch lift and obviously better brakes would be nice but the drilled and slotted discs would fill with mud off road and would make braking worse? I know its different here as its probably a noce daily but as i said mines just a mud monster so i dont drive her fast any way just potter around town in it and take it off road 😋
Does that defender have any silencers or cat?
Not checked in for a couple of months ... same great content ... but vast improvement in the mouse clicking department ... great job ... wish you were closer because I've just bought a 2.4 110 that I want all the same cool stuff bolting onto it!
There’s a new premier inn up the road 😂 💜
@@juicemotors... I might well be in touch ... have you done an Alu-cab Icarus?
Silas Murray not yet, let’s get the ball rolling 😍
@@juicemotors... OK then ... I recon the best thing to do is for you to contact Alu-cab in Cape Town directly ... they totally get RUclips & you might be able to strike a deal with them ... there is a guy apparently who brings them over here for them from somewhere in Europe ... I'm after a black roof & a 'shadow awning' ... can't wait :)
Question - how did you get those halo LED headlights to fit?, I orderd a pair for my 2010 Puma but they didn't fit due to the electric light adjuster ring. Is there a special later model exact Halo light kit I can get?
Loving the channel 👍
Cheers
I’m not sure what troubles your facing, but the headlight beam adjuster should fit into the headlight ring. The headlight just mounts to the bowl with a few screws and backing plates
💯
what size rims mate ?
💯% best Land Rover channel on RUclips!
Fancy fitting a clutch to my v8 d1 😏
Of course! Send an email
Hello sir I would like to know the dimensions of the rims and tires really a very good job
I think the koni suspension is better then the fox shocks had both wasn’t pleased with fox struts
Does no-one use a Torque wrench anymore? and what about bedding the pads in properly so they don't glaze? Nice brakes though
Why on the drive flanges do you use sealant instead of a gasket?
RTV>paper
Love the videos and the skill levels and the quality of the equipment your installing , just need to install the automatic seatbelt next , private road or not it can still bite you please please continue to promote quality gear and quality safety practices. You only get one life
💛
how many times wear yer seat belt lol
Can the next build be a military defender? 😁
Would you ever consider upgrading an ex MOD Wolf Defender??
All the mod cons and maybe and I say just maybe, sprucing up the exterior a tad bit??
Indeed, send an email 🙏🏻
@@juicemotors I am still on the look out for a decent low mileage ish, with not much body damage. Army ones seem to have been ragged around a lot!!
They got serviced every 250 hrs used or not so the engine should be decent.
Will these make their way onto the the green Defender too?
Not the green one but maybe something soon 👀
How can i buy?
How much are the discs and brake calipers ??
£2500 right
Would you provide some more information about the engine spec on this one? Thanks
2.2 TDCi with Empire Tunings stage 4 turbo and ECU map
@@juicemotors Thanks
please tell us what the grand plan is for this vehicle - is it yours or a customers? your spending a wedge of cash on an old vehicle and its obviously a labour of love for someone
Was that £2300 for the front and rear?
Just front 💀
Looking good where is the blue 110
It’s over at Duke of London, she’s for sale 💙
Juice Motors any more videos of it finished
Just a message to remind you that your Facebook page is still showing your old Faulkners Hill Farm address. I see that you have got your Google page up to date.
Your website is down
Being rebuilt, it’ll be a user friendly site to handle demand of parts and merch, I’ll let you guys know when it’s ready 🤙🏻
Stop on a penny! 👍
So, you did nothing to the rears? Can't wait for the wet day road test....
You don’t have to change the rears, they’re perfectly adequate
sexy pots...lol
Interesting. Your bedding in process seems to be contrary to all manufacturers advice on the subject.
Buy the kit and read the manual, it states clearly the bedding in process
Start wearing your seatbelt on the road
Yeah. 3 points. £80 fine plus a safety awareness course because it's not the 1st time I've seen him without it
PLEASE WEAR A SEATBELT BRO
8:32 , no seat belt, 3 points and a £80 fine
What an astonishing waste of cash. Standard brakes in good condition will lock the wheels up fine. Just basic maintenance.
Ahhh buts it’s the braking effort before you lock those tyres up, you’ll stop in a shorter distance with these. They’re worth the cash 💰
