It occurred to me over the Christmas break that as I and many other Land Rover owners watch in ever increasing envy, some of the vehicles you and the team of mechanical wizards are constructing will undoubtably become super sought after modern classics, mine is already 24 years old, served Queen and country with distinction and is now being “slowly” over hauled for my adventures, you always provide inspiration and great advice - thanks Dave !
Dave, great video!! Always enjoy listing to the sound of a V8. What do you meant these engines are drying up? You can’t get the new ones going into corvettes? What about the LT4? I’m looking forward to your reply to the email I put on the comments section of your website. I know you are busy, but I don’t want to miss an opportunity. Cheers. Brian
Great video! There is always something that catches my eye in your videos. This time it was the beautiful custom work on the AC lines! Nicely done! I am just about to go down the rabbit hole of learning how to build myself some and now I have some inspiration!!!
Great episode clearly hit the ground running in the new year 👍 If possible could you cover pro’s / cons of air compared to fox shocks and springs? Seems a lot of the expensive builds still go with springs and dampers just wondered why ? Thanks as always 👍
Great videos and some amazing builds guys. The AP brake kits are phenomenal. Just wondering , on the grey 110, the tyres seem to protrude out beyond the wheel arches (4:15). I was under the impression that wasn't permitted in the UK?
Thank you for a great video! Can u tell me the part number for the front and rear brakes. Would like to install these on my D110 with LS3 in united states
You do realize that braking distance is strictly about speed and mass versus hydraulic pressure brake discs and brake pads friction and tires? It has absolutely nothing to do with horsepower or quickness to a certain speed.
@@wearemahker improved braking should be prioritized, but it doesn’t matter if your LR is high horsepower or not. If you haven’t increased tire diameter regular Land Rover brakes properly maintained will stop any Land Rover just fine. If you increase tire width they will actually stop the vehicle better. Unless you are running on a track and need fade proof systems due to frequent reduction in speed from high speeds, fitting “high performance brakes” does not increase stopping performance. I appreciate a lot of what you’re doing on your channel but it chafes me when basic physics of engineering gets misrepresented. BTW, Semper Fi from former USMC to RMC brother.

I just got a Defender 110 with an LS3 and the brakes are nonexisitant. I am looking to upgrade. Thank you for this.

I think those plants at the entrance to the workshop have gone to plant heaven. Who's the gardener?

Would love a set of Ap’s on my Denfender !! Great show as all ways .👌👊
F****** goose pimples!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Built one yet for 🏴 Dave?🤔 Would love to see a TD5 for Highlands lol👌🏻👍🏻
What do you suggest is the HP cutoff between moving from the 16' to the 18'?
Do you upgrade the master cylinder with the brake conversion, or is the standard bore size adequate to maintain pedal travel? Great episode 👍
Great work man
Legend
I want to ask you opinion about 1jz non turbo for my land rover defender
Or m54b25 ?
Can you get any gearbox with an LS3? I think a Sequential Rally Style would be cool or is that similar to the auto six speed shown?
Digital dash?
Dont know if I missed it - but what size wheels and offset do you need to clear these big brakes?
How much is the BMW conversion in comparison ?
Great - nothing like a V8
How can I order one of this
The brake kit ? Please email info@mahker.com

That’s pretty much obvious.
@@wearemahker yeah, so your title is pretty stupid

First !!
Too much music, not enough v8 sound IMO.
