The gullibility of some people to think that Fields would be on special teams. 😅😅😂😂😅.
We could say the same thing about coaches failing to adapt to Russ’s skill set. Sean Payton didn’t do it and was too busy trying to tank. Nathaniel Hackett didn’t do it because he didn’t possess the ability. He was never qualified to be a head coach.
4:24 Even Pete Carroll made a lot of mistakes in his handling of Russ, which caused friction between Pete and at least one offensive coordinator: Brian Schottenheimer.
Russ has been just as neglected as Fields, but he had more QB skills coming out of college and relied less on his athletic ability than Fields did. That really made a difference for him.
Russ fans are still waiting for a coach to optimize Russ’s skills. He’s capable of throwing for 5,000+ yards and 45-50 TDs while winning a lot of games, but that’s going to require a balanced offense, e celebrity blocking, and receivers who run quick routes. And get the guy a stud TE IN HIS PRIME for once!
Everything you said is so true. Especially about Sean Payton. Some people think he is this great coach, well, I totally disagree. Far as I am concerned, a great coach will find a way to work with all of his players to get to the playoffs. Instead, Mr
Payton does the opposite he decided to bench the one player who can help get the team to the playoffs for a less talented player. Talk about someone being a bully. Sean Payton is a bully, and he doesn't have any business being a head in the NFL.
Fields isn't good enough to be a nfl qb. If he doesn't want to play where he's asked then cut him.

The Steelers should trade Fields and a #2 to Seattle for DK and Sam Howell. He can definitely replace Geno in 2025.
