If I was Najee Harris I would ask to be traded ASAP!!! I’ve been a Pittsburgh Steeler fan for over 40 years and this is utterly nonsense. Why he ain't Worth a crap

Russ will not only play well enough to hold onto his job, he will play well enough to get the Steelers to the SB. Furthermore, any talk of Fields starting over Russ is just crazy. Russ is still a great athlete himself, and his arm is superior to that of Fields. They’re not even close in that regard. Add in Russ’s experience playing at the highest levels and winning, and Fields needs to sit and learn, and not just for one year, either. Until Fields can hit more than layup passes, and until Russ’s legs start to go (seriously, they haven’t yet), Fields will have no shot at unseating Russ. Ryan Clark hates Russ, and it showed in 2020, when he ridiculously claimed that Russ wasn’t an all-time great and then had the nerve to be stunned when everybody came for him. People also discovered that Clark might have developed hate for Russ. He spoke of Russ in very Michael Jordan-like terms when he had to face Russ early in Russ’s career. When people brought that up, Clark went silent on the issue, but he hasn’t stopped taking digs at Russ in recent years. People can’t unsee what they saw in Denver, but they need to fully understand WHY Denver happened that way it did. Even Sean Payton admitted that from his view Denver wasn’t even close to being Russ’s fault. People also need to quit listening to Nick Wright spin everything against Russ! He has gaslit people about Russ at every turn because he wants Russ out of the league badly. The reason is simple: Russ is Patrick Mahomes’s Kryptonite, and Patrick Mahomes is Nicky-boy’s favorite athlete of all-time. As long as Russ is in the league and his n the AFC, and still playing his best football in the 4th quarter of every game, nobody is safe, not even the Chiefs. Nick feels very threatened by that. Does Mahomes ever outplay Russ h2h? No!!! In 5 matchups, he has done it ONCE, and none of those occasions were in their first three meetings…not in their 2018 shootout in Seattle, during which Russ wound up schooling Mahomes, and not in either 2022 matchup, both of which the Broncos should have won. Remember who the coach was that season: Bathaniel Hackett. Riss played much better under interim coach Jerry Rosberg, who I believe should’ve gotten the permanent gig instead of Sean Payton. I also believe Russ may have said something to Nick Wright that hurt his feelings because Wright, like a coward, has used his studio position as a bully-pulpit to attack Russ at every turn. It has gotten to the point where he has begun to bend the truth into a pretzel when he isn’t telling outright lies! Russ has clearly been saying and doing things off-camera that have turned people against him, but that doesn’t give people the right to lie or misrepresent what is occurring and on the football field. It also doesn’t give people the right to accept everything negative said by a few former teammates. Russ has a lot of ex-teammates who love him to death, but that doesn’t seem to matter at all to some people. They’d rather listen to the negative so they can bully a guy who never did anything to them. Richard Sherman Shannon Sharpe Nick Wright Hugh Millen Ryan Clark They don’t deserve any credibility where Russ is concerned, because for four of them it’s personal, and Sharpe is just an idiot looking for something to gossip about. He has some secrets of his own. They’ll come out. He’s not everybody’s favorite either.

If Cam Sutton gets his legal issues behind him, he would be a better fit than Peterson. He is 4 years younger and knows the system.
