Cristian Gutierrez There is more vanity in plastic-like popstar style than in goth. I am not goth though. I believe that You can look as You want and listen to what You want if You like it, just don't hurt others by doing that. But if You care too much for your style and too little for Your faith it is vanity in my opinion.

If there is love in our hearts we should know that God gave his son for those "satanists" God bless all of them. eric clayton is on a break for his health right now his band stopped performing out of respect for him. hes written a few books since then and sometimes they play/appear together but not often.

His name is Eric Clayton and he has a very very long time of sickness behind. He was working on the closure of the Legend triple album for a long time with many difficulties and it has had a release that was not authorized by the band. Mr. Clayton used to be a perfectionist which made the writing of the album a big struggle. His health kept him down for many years. His latest project (just these days) is called "Eric and the nine".Clayton is a huge Bowie fan and published a tribute album. He published lots of material about Saviour Machine and is very active these days.
@gyeszno you shouldnt "not listen" to something because of something like that. i know plenty of athiest and agnostics who listen to christian bands bc of their awesome sound, and savior machine is just one of those bands that have such a unique sound that you cant hate! lyrics mean nothing, its all about to bands sound.

The "atheism is faith-based" argument- which I used to make- has never held water. Some atheists may be annoying zealots, but do you want to argue that no religious people are? Don't generalize. As for music vs. beliefs- not believing in a story doesn't mean you can't appreciate the beauty in it- or in its telling.
