This song is a mastery and i hope it burns into the minds of all and may save the lives of a few...this band is a poetic artwork in absolute genius when they wrote this....those who fear this fear only truth itself and those who fear the message in their heart feel guilt and fear itself....jesus loves us all and may his grace bless his nay sayers and his power drown those pagans who hear it in truth and bliss....this is sad yet beautiful.....

Whether your Christan or not, beliefs shouldn't stand in the way of listening to this amazing band. I was fortunate enough to stumble upon this album (Sombre Romantic) and the whole thing is a masterpiece. Virgin Black really are artists.

I really dont see why some people (Ive read a few comments) are threatened by this. It isnt like they are going out in front of a large congregation of people and using charismatic, body-language driven preaching in a way to brainwash people in believing something, using fears of divine punishment and so forth. They are artistic individuals who are expressing their ideals through music. Governments and organized religion are for more harmful than this band is.
I can dig it all apart from the screamed: "He is dead" line, it made me chuckle, and I hardly think that is the intent ;) Other than that, he has real talent :)

So the only comments about any video (or anything for that matter) should be positive or nothing at all? No critiquing anything we don't like? If we do so, we (personally) are snobs, juvenile, empty and purposeless? It's an interesting concept (albeit completely unrealistic) only you've broken all your own rules with your own post.
Though I dont like their older albums as much as the newer ones, i have to say this song is beautiful... For those curious, Jesus here represents the faith of the speaker, no the literal jesus... It says so in the liner notes...

If I like it, I'll comment on it and support it as well. This song however, is by far one of the worst songs ever recorded. Truly a new level of tacky, empty, juvenile spew.
