The pattern maker revised the pattern to 2 1/8 yards so the borders don't have to be pieced. We have updated the picture shown on our website with the revised yardage.
Donna, I was on a quilters live You Tube chat last night and you came up..it was high praise to you by all...and also possible road trip after COVID...I know I would love to meet you and your husband...who knows it may happen..till then I will continue to follow your channel...we are so glad you are so generous with your teachings..thank you.
PD Moss I was lucky enough to visit the shop as we were traveling by. It is a fabulous shop and Donna in person is as likable as on her videos. I loved it. I live in Washington state, I wish I lived closer. Donna H
I love your videos. You are so bubbly and clearly friendly. You have good tips to share. You sew so fast. LOL. I wish I could sew that fast and still be accurate. I love your machine setup and how you use it. I'm sitting here wondering how anyone can give this a thumbs down. Those folks are crazy. Thanks for all you do!
I finally finished my last year and it is beautiful. I am planning on making one for each major holiday: Easter, Christmas, 4th of July, and Thanksgiving. Just changing the colors and the appliques. I have a special place in my house where I can hang them, according to the season. Love your tutorials. Thanks.
I wish I could watch the long arm quilt the entire quilt. It is mesmerizing n calming and plus bonus it helps me to learn different patterns to quilt on my regular machine
Oh! My! Stars! That quilt is just perfect. I LOVE the web quilting and how it pops on the black on the back of the quilt. It is just gorgeous! Am I the only one here wondering if Donna will adopt them? I could watch her do this all day. Truly grateful that you share your beautiful talent with us. I am learning a lot from watching all of your videos and they are my inspiration to not give up. I will eventually be able to sew a 1/4 seam straight lol.
Very nice job Donna! The stitching on the spider makes him look FURRY! Thanks for incentive to start holidays early!! It’s 103 here in the Central Valley of California today so a little challenging to think holidays!
The best part about this fun quilt is the child in Donna coming out as she gets excited for the holidays that are coming. Yes, we maybe grown ups, but it is so great for to have that child that we all were, making an appearance now and again. I can imagine you going out what we in Scotland know as "guysing" (after Guy Fawkes) but you know as trick or treating, with your grandchildren because your big children think they are to old to behave like that, hee hee hee. Have fun lovely lady and enjoy the big start up to the holiday season that will be coming along and never grow up too much. We should all have that fun child inside us just waiting to jump out at times. We are on this earth but once, so make it everything you want it to be and never have regrets, Crafty hugs Donna, Matt and all at Jordans, from Norah, Glenochil Village, Central Scotland
Great to see you apparently so much enjoylng making this terrific quilt. We don't do Halloween celebrations quite so much here in Europe as you in USA but this is such a cute and attractive pattern and gorgeous but unfrightening fabrics, it's very tempting! As always you have good tips for making it up. Hope you will be re-ordering the fabric stock and making new bundles as I'm sure you'll have many takers...
Cute quilt! I'm loving your silver hair! I'm growing mine out (on purpose) but mine is only pure white for a couple inches from the front/sides and then salt & pepper through the rest. I wish mine was all white!!!
Thank you Donna for this adorable quilt tutorial. I was at work when I first saw it and said out loud, "How adorable". Luckily the room wasn't completely silent and only a few caught me peeking in my phone. I couldn't wait to get home and watch your video and then get started on my Holiday sewing. As always you are awesome, Thank you again.
I would live to make this in different seasons…. Like easter, Christmas, summer holiday and add different appliqué on corners. Or no appliqué and plain corners. Thank you for your fabulous videos, ideas, teaching xxx
Just wanted you to know that I have been following you for sometime. Your a wonderful teacher. So easy to follow... Keep up the good work. You even make me feel like I could do a Halloween or Christmas quilt..
Cute quilt! I want to make it for my daughter. I love your tutorials. I too lived in Oregon. Southern and Northern Oregon. Beautiful state. I am in California now. I am a beginner with quilts. I am in the process of making a baby quilt. I watch your show for tips. They are so helpful. Thank you . I will continue to watch.
I just love all your videos. would love to come visit your store, but I'm so far away and can't travel because of COVID-19. That's why your videos are so important. It helps keep up my morale and inspires me. Can't thank you enough!!
I ordered my Halloween fabric a week ago and I'm waiting patiently for it's arrival. Watching your tutorial was so much fun! I loved this quilt! Thank you for making these tutorials. As a newbie, it gives me lots of inspiration and confidence to make these beautiful quilts! All of my quilts have come from your tutorials. ❤🎃
What a cute quilt! My sister in law adores Halloween, and I was considering making a Halloween quilt for her birthday . Your video was just in time ! Thanks for all of your awesome videos. I am mesmerized watching you teach, and have a hard time breaking away! Please keep up your tutorials. I am a new quilter and your instructions give me continuous inspiration.
Halloween is my favorite holiday. Can't wait to try what I've learned. Very fun tutorial. I agree with Noreen, the zig-zag gives the spider a fuzzy look. Thanks
Golly, you make everything look 👀 easy. My sister makes beautiful quilts and I am just starting at 65, but so far so good 😊. Thanks for easy explanations 👍🏼!!!
Love this quilt! Thank you for sharing your talents with us! I love your tutorials. I am a fairly new quilter, but I feel, like I could do it all after watching your tutorials. I would truly love to come and visit your store and meet you and your staff. Thanks again!
i love this quilt! i’ve watched this video before, but this time i will add the pattern to my shopping today!! i have to start thinking about halloween and fall already. i’m still a bit of a newbie. i started quilting during quarantine and now i’m hooked!!! ❤️❤️ Love your channel!!
Donna, you always make everything look easy and enjoyable. I love this little quilt. I've not tried aplique before but really want to try it now even if alot of us Australians (Aussies) don't celebrate Halloween
Another great show Donna, thanks. I've been waiting for shoulder reconstruction surgery since January. I can sew, yeah! But cutting accurately wasn't happening. I spotted a 2kg hand weight at a dollar store and decided to try your method. Most accurate cutting I've every managed! Surgery is finally scheduled for July, but I'll be using my weight for cutting forever. Best tip I've found on the web. 🥳
Thank you! I have done applique on quilts but didn't know I should be using paper as a stablizer. I also never tried the Fray Ck, I always buried my thread ends. I can't wait to try these great tips. And thank you so much for the free pattern, I love it. 😊
When I first watched this tutorial, I was immediately scared with having to use fusible interfacing and doing everything that comes with appliques. Now here I am thinking how much fun you had and I am wondering if perhaps I could do the same. Thanks for all the tips!
That is a really cute Halloween quilt, and I'm not much of a Halloween person. I can actually see myself making this one. Thank you for another great tutorial and generous giveaway. Happy Quilting!
Really. Nice colour combination. Sadly we don’t do Halloween here, but lots of ways, with different fabrics etc, to make this into Christmas. Thanks so much Donna. 🇦🇺🇦🇺
Another wonderful tutorial from Donna!!!! If I have a spot where I can't back-tack at the end of my stitching, I cut my threads a bit long, pull the top thread to the back of the fabric, and tie a few overhand knots. That way, I don't have to mess with sticky Fraycheck. Fraycheck does have its uses though. Keep them coming Donna and crew.
I'm so happy!!! I bought this pattern from Jordan Fabrics a couple of months ago. (I crossed my fingers and hoped that Donna would do a video of it)..!🎃❤🧡😍. Thank you so much Donna. I really enjoy your videos and always look forward to the next video and project. Love your signature .. "Happy Quilting." Just makes me smile.😁
Was going to order pattern and fabric from your store but you said for orange 2 1/8 yards are needed. Pattern says 1 1/2. Which is correct?
The pattern maker revised the pattern to 2 1/8 yards so the borders don't have to be pieced. We have updated the picture shown on our website with the revised yardage.
@@jordanfabrics8380 Oh, no! I wasn't quick enough and now you are sold out. Will you get more fabric?
