    The CLARO WALNUT TOPS are absolutely amazing and are a good price. The wood they have is very impressive and the prices are good.

      Thanks Mark. She managed to sleep through this one haha. It helps that I was using directed lights, so she got to avoid them.

    Steve is great. Worked with me to create a custom set of templates. While it wasn't cheap, it was worth every penny to get what I wanted. The level of communication exceeded expectations as well, we had a few good conversations on the phone to ensure that he delivered exactly what I was after, which seemed very important to him. I look forward to buying more!

    Very exciting that you have a new member of the family! Little girls are special. This is Mike (ASA Guitars) btw. Steve is next level. I can’t wait to see your finished guitar. As for the SOS oil system, just think silk sheets for your guitar neck. Your playing hand will thank you.

    That is really a nice neck. Well designed with the multi laminate. Looks thin like ibanez style. Which I really like and a nice velute. You know, I don't think I ever seen you install liminlay side dot markers. Perfect opportunity on this neck. Might be an interesting video.

    I’d love to have templates from Steve! I have to ‘hack my way through’ my first two scratch builds first, and then I’ll look at neck ones at the very least!
    He really deserves incredible success though!

    Greeting I want to ask for your help for a project that includes MDF. We built two MDF boxes for the speakers. I want to paint them, but I don't know what to choose or if the timing of the operations is correct. 1 - Minwax High Performance Wood Filler - to fill the holes, 2 - Minwax Lacquer Sanding Sealer 3 - Minwax Wood Finish Red Mahogany - color 4 - Minwax Fast-Drying Polyurethane, Clear Gloss - varnish to cover the paint 5 - Minwax Pasta Finishing Wax, Special Dark - and after all gloss part. It's the right way to go or you should change a fewSteps? Is there still a need for primer?

    • @BradAngove
      @BradAngove  Год назад

      Those steps sound fine to me except the paste finishing wax will dull your gloss and I’m not sure if that’s what you’re trying to do.

    Hey Brad, reaching out to you cuz you might have better connections and I'm having a hell of a time. I purchased a kit from The Fretwire a month ago and havent received it yet. Have you ever worked with them before? I'm being totally ghosted, havent received the kit yet, haven't even received tracking for it yet and they dont answer emails, social messages, etc. I feel like they scammed me!

      Hi Ryan. Thanks; I generally don’t read channel related emails because there are so many and I provide a platform for asking questions here. I took a look at yours. Given what you are trying to do and your inquiry about a hybrid build, I suggest you contact Steve from Maximum guitar works about creating some custom components for you.
