Hello I have purchased your book and you use thieves cleaner, could you please send me a link of thieves cleaner that you use as there several types and also the sal suds is there an alternative that I can use as I am from the UK and in order for me to buy sal suds I have to give a subscription of £175 a year which is very costly. Thank you so much for this! I'm waiting for the suds to arrive and in the meantime I used some regular Dr. Bronner's castile soap and as soon as I put the soap into the mixture I ended up with these nasty looking clumps. Is that normal?
Yes that is normal with Castile soap because it is made from coconut oil, so it clumps up! You might be able to break up the clumps with an immersion blender.
Hey, btw your so cute! So does the Sal Suds not leave a residue if you spray it every day? Have you ever tried it with just 6oz. distilled water, 2oz. everclear 190 and 40 drops of essential oils- does that sound like that would work? I'll have to try out your recipe, well first ill have to get some Sal Suds lol. Oh! Another question! Are these recipes what you actually use at home?
Hi Eric!! Thank you so much. Yes you could try the recipe without any soap at all, I do think that'll still help. If you'd like to use something other than Sal Suds, try a natural dish soap instead, even Seventh Generation's dish soap will work. And yes! These are the actual recipes I use at home! I don't make the video until I've used it and tried it myself.

My concern with the soap 🧼 is that it would leave somewhat of a residue over time, even though liquid soap doesn't contain the fatty acids bar soap does that causes soap scum. I know the soap acts as a detergents, but how exactly does it dry & not streak/build up if your not rinsing it off afterwards with water or if there's no solvent like alcohol in the mixture? Or is that the purpose of the peroxide--- though I didn't think peroxide was that strong compares to say 70 - 90 proof alcohol 🍸??

In another video ( toilet bowl cleaning )you use CASTILE SOAP, and here you say that we should use SAL SUDS for cleaning and use castile soap only for the skin. I’m confused.
Sorry for the confusion! Yeah that toilet bowl recipe I created. Before I found Sal Suds. I don’t like to use Castile Soap for laundry, dishes or floors becuase it’s oily and leaves behind a residue. But in the toilet bowl it works just fine.

No, it's okay to use a plastic one. If you have essential oils in your recipe, make sure the plastic bottle has the letters HDPE or PETE on the bottom of it. Otherwise, the essential oils will break down the plastic and ruin the bottle.

I’m not exactly sure - I don’t know if the vinegar will break down the plastic over time or not.

Yes, I use microfibre cloths to clean and then wash them. And the cleaning bottles I recommend are all reusable.
