Here is a kitchen hack when cooking ground beef - to break it up, use a METAL WHISK. Breaks up big lumps of ground beef so easily. Also, when cutting up food on your cutting board, place a damp cloth underneath, it will stop the cutting board from slipping around. Thank you for this. Reminded me last night I had dried beans I can soak overnight. Way cheaper to get dry beans than canned!! Better too because doesn't have any added salt/preservatives like some canned ones!! This is a $$ saver. For real!
Crusty Bread recipe
3 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp yeast
1.5 cups water
Stir and cover with plastic wrap 8-24 hours. Turn out and form into a ball. Rest 30 minutes. Preheat baby Le Creuset at 450°. Slash X on top. Bake 30 minutes, take cover off, 400° another 15 minutes. Do not oil the pan.

I was at a professional meeting when a cousin came up and told me he was going to Nonna's house for Thanksgiving and he was having red gravy with Posta as course.

Just found your channel and I love it. I love the humor and the great meals so you got yourself a new subscriber. I have three kids and I don't really cook and my husband hates me for it so with the simple recipes you do I am going to start. And we Italians from Philly call it gravy 😁
For meals with sour cream if you stir up the sour cream in the container it will go way farther .

I love your crusty bread recipe so much! I do enjoy making bread the traditional way with all the kneading and whatnot, but this is sooo much easier and if you let the dough rest overnight it almost tastes like sourdough 😃👍🏻

I was going to ask you have you seen the movie called “ Wine Country” with the comedians .. umm who are they.. oh yea.. Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Rachel Dratch , Tina Fey and several other wonderful actresses. Their quotes are hilarious. One of my many favorites are “ May I offer you some Feed back?” Lol. Eventho I already watched most of her vids, or any of "meal plan" from other channels, I still can't over / believe that people eat beans as a meal /side / dishes when we here use bean mostly as a desserts or snacks.. Same as avocado.. I never eat avocado as a "vagetable".. I always eat as an ice cream or eat it with condense milk..

That's the issue that I'm having with my own kids lol. My youngest will put 4 dishes into the dishwasher and then call it good. Another one of mine will ONLY load the top! Grrr lol
Salt doubles the cooking time forr beans, they also get really hard and cook unevenly.
But wait, then again I have never used an instant pot 😊

I want to make the crusty bread but I don't have a thick enough bottom pan for it! lol
You can use any over proof pan or even a cast iron pot. If you are using something like a cake pan roll the dough into balls and make rolls 🙂
Can you use almond or coconut flour for the bread? And do you have a recipe to show how to make the bread?
