It would be cool to have an official listing of the best to worst of the games played on Worst Games Ever. It would slowly show us what are the worst games ever. *Rolls away at 1234 kilometres per hour in a tumbleweed flopping around at the speed of sound.*
It's actually a good idea, I hate everything does this in his worst movies series. However, i think it would be difficult in this series because they are not ranking and scoring the games, just having a bit of a showcase... the only scores in the series are the ones they dug up, and those are already available online, so it's kind of reductant.
I have said this and will continue to say this. But for 2006, that intro in terms of graphical fidelity is amazing. I wouldn't be surprised if they "accidentally" threw away a considerable amount of the games budget on it.
Too bad it's in the completely wrong game.
Yeah, at the tech and telly shop in the next town over, they'd have that intro cutscene playing on a loop on all the brand new HD TVs.

I would go as far as saying that the intro is decent even for today’s standards. However it’s a real shame that the intro isn’t the whole game...
It just is absolutely weird for a sonic game. Especially given the look of the actual game.
You probably noticed that the CG in Shadow the Hedgehog's intro is outstanding too - from that point onwards, regardless of the quality of the actual games, almost every Sonic game got a visually stunning CG intro

I got a pet African Pygmy Hedgehog recently & now I sing “Hermès the Hedgehog, he’s a fucking hedgehog” to him every day. In the hedgehog community it’s very taboo to name Hedgeys Sonic…the joke gets old fast. Every person asks if you named them Sonic. Anyway I’ve watched this episode 3 times bc watching funny men laugh until they cry is good for the soul. The End

I see someone is enjoying Project-06, the original launch was really poor but now that people in the community ported it to Unity and fixed a lot of the issues I'd say it is pretty solid.

The most worrying thing about Sonic '06 is that Super Mario 64 was made a full ten years before it and on a far less powerful machine yet was a far better game.
You'll need to play the fucking awful Sonic Unleashed next. The one with the Werehog transformation. Not sure if it's worse than '06 but it's gotta be pretty close.

I don't think so. Mario 64 has far worse graphics, has clunky controls and a terrible camera system and further can be very glitchy compared to 06.
Could you guys do something with Comics again? You guys, Jules and Blampied were the best at covering Comic stuff, so please, either top 10‘s again or just simple facts, please do something with Comics again.

I hate that video game, and I'm 16 years old, and it's supposed to be for my generation, how disgusting, and my brother, who is going to turn 20 this year, didn't even identify with that mediocre game, and he preferred the classics, like me.
This does look like Final Fantasy. But I thought this was game was about Sonic, a speedy little mammal who ate hula hoops and always finished first.
What an underwhelming opening gameplay.
They should have thrown the player into a fun opening platform level before the town exploration part.

I actually own this game! First time playing it as an adult, the only part of the game that I found enjoyable was the fact that I could drown Tails (he's so much more annoying if you actually play the game) I felt the true meaning of sadness when he respawned by my side.

My Known Reasons Why I Love Sonic '06
1. Sonic '06 is my second favorite Sonic game.
2. The game was just made for 15th anniversary and intended to be a reboot for the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise.
3. Adventure/Open world game.
4. Multiple playable characters sharing one story from each perspective of it.
5. There are similarities and referances just to my best favorite Sonic game Sonic Adventure.
6. The characters '06 designs are better than the Modern designs and 3D graphic are better than most other Sonic games' 3D graphic.
7. Darker and edgier.
8. Less harder than most other Sonic games.
9. The soundtrack.
10. Silver the Hedgehog, a new hedgehog with telekinesis powers and his design.
11. Mephiles is one of my favorite Sonic villains, who just killed my favorite Sonic character Sonic.
12. One of the rare child-friendly fictions I have seen a human is romantic attracted to an anthropomorphic animal I want to see and just learned why I have rarely seen it because of bestiality, even though I don’t like to see a human are just romantic attracted to Sonic.
What I Think Sucks About Sonic '06
1. Were some glitches.
2. The loading take time and even loading for small town missions.
3. The humans are realistic and not semi-realistic or anime-esque style.
4. Sega didn't finish the game because of 15th anniversary.
5. No Sonic '06 remaster/remake.
6. Cream the Rabbit didn't also appear in the game.
7. Amy still had shorter hair than in later games.
8. Some of the characters don't also use some of their other known skills and moves. Tails don't use tail combat and driving plane, Knuckles don't use digging, Amy don't use other hammer attack moves and Rouge don't use kick combat and digging.
9. Sonic '06 didn't become a reboot. Later Sonic games didn't become more like Sonic '06 which was just meant to be a reboot for the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise and Sonic the Hedgehog: Awakening which probably both would be more like and was just meant to be a sequel of Sonic '06 was cancelled because of the poor reception of Sonic ’06.

I don't think Sonic '06 is that bad. It IS a bad a game, but not truly among the worst of the worst. It grazes across that line though. It's a load of wasted potential.
I was really hoping they'd game over on Wave Ocean and rage about having wasted a half hour of their lives only to have to re-do everything because the game doesn't autosave. But I guess they were mentally prepared with the foreknowledge that it was a bad game. One thing's for sure though; I'd rather watch someone play Sonic 06 rather than play Sonic 06 any day.
Oh god if they ever get around to the Hannah Montana games, it'll take at least an hour to get through JUST the letters
