So, I was hoping to hear from you but.... I wanted to let you know that... its been 30 years since I've been on skates, I took my wife and daughter yesterday... yes I got on skates, first two hrs was sketchy, last 2 hrs was great... its because of you and your videos that I had confidence to get back on skates, I had a blast!! You are incredible, ty!!
I did it! I laughed out loud in surprise when I got it. Thanks Dirty. It’s been 20 years. I never learned this fun stuff back then either. I’m definitely not driving the same model, but I’m having fun.
I've been working on these for the past week and I am so happy to see you cover it! Thank you for your amazing content as always, you're the best teacher!
Deborah, many thanks again, teacher!! I'm still working on my beginner skills so I can master them on both sides. This is a new one to add to my practice sessions! I am having the time of my life on this beautiful skating journey, and I'm so thankful I found you! Hugs!!!♥️🛼
if you have no inner thigh/groin strength this is so hard. I practice these next to a wall or chair I can hold on to. I been building up my strength the chair does help.
I was trying to do this move yesterday and my feet felt lazy and heavy. I was doing it all wrong! Today it took me all of 5 mins to learn this move with your instructions. Thank you Dirty!
Lol I unlocked my heel toe manual today. I shocked myself. I was terrified that's why I never did it. It was so much easier than I thought. It was fear that was stopping me. But my goodness it hard on my knee. Will keep practicing , I was doing it inside on laminate floors. Thanks Miss Dirty 😂 I watched this 30 times before I tried it😅
Hahaha yaaa I rolled forward and immediately questioned my life choices and saw my life flash before my eyes. I was super stoked that I didn't fall as I screamed my way through it😅😅😅😂😂
Hi Debbie , great videos , your a good instructor , I can do manuals at slow speed NP , but at faster speeds , my skates go into a wobble , is this normal??? or what is my problem ? I've tried tightening my tricks , due to , I like the a little more loose then others . Thank you
Oh! This is going to make my skating so much better! I'm one of those peeps you're talking about with shake transitions. I'm dedicating more time to my backwards skating so when I transition I'm confident going backwards too 😊
Your videos are my favorite 🥰 I was trying to order my first pair of Moxi's off their site, but unfortunately the promo code is coming back invalid. Was it only good till a certain time today?
Hi Dirty. I'm living in Toronto Ontario and I've watched so many of your videos. I'm 75 and wanted to try skating again after over 40 years and many injuries. I was wondering if you knew of any place here in Toronto to buy skates that you recommend. I know you say sure grip fame is a good starter skate but is there a better one. I do have a plate and pins in my ankle so I think I will need some support and comfort padding. Any suggestions?
Hi Debbie, I just started back roller skating about 5 months ago after a 15 year hiatus. I've been watching your videos religiously and they have been absolutely awesome for me. I'm 62 years old and I have to be careful and learn techniques all over again. Your step by step videos 1 thru 12 gave me the confidence I needed in order to get back out there. I have a question, What are the wheels you have on this video? I have a pair of 95A because I've skating in the past on very bad, slippery surfaces. At the skating rink I skate on now, the floor doesn't seem to be in that bad of shape. I watch all of your videos over and over again.
Just ran across your marvelous teaching video I thought this move was called toes splits I will be practicing more on these with balance. Thank you for sharing
Hi Deborah just wanted to know if you can go more in depth with indoor wheels and outdoors wheels. I have my skates but they are outdoor wheels. I tried skating in my house but was sliding every which way. 😂😂 not a great idea fell once but I know outdoor wheels are slippery on the softer side? I think? Lol! Thank you so much for all your great tutorial videos ❤
Hey Dirty Debra, I watch all your videos and I am a sub. Love your teaching methods. My rink has a wooden floor and my wheels grip way too much. They are indoor wheels but not designed for wooden floors. What wheels do you use in your videos? The white wheels on this video. 🙏
Emmanuel, After a couple years of skating, I have realized wheels are a very personal choice. What one person loves, another can find unskatable. In addition to hardness (A or D scale), width, and height, the other major consideration is compound. And, honestly, urethane chemistry differs from company to company, if not line to line. In other words, your best bet is to borrow wheels from friends or your local rink, if possible, or even buy used wheels to help you narrow in on your favorite kind of wheel. What wheel are you using right now? What is the hardness?
I sent you an email (2). I hope you are able to reply. Meanwhile, I want to say that I think you're a good instructor and an effective communicator. I've been watching your video history and what I don't see is anything addressing increased speed. ie. skating faster on rink, outdoors, or in a crowd of people. Your techniques are easy to grasp but what about a skater who has leveled up and is skating faster? Maybe a video on dealing with rink "traffic", quickly avoiding other skaters, (skating and someone falls in front of you or slower skater cuts into your path abruptly). I am a pretty diversified skater, or used to be. I've seen a lot of " OH, S#@T" moments happen while even at moderate speed. Mechanics are similar at all levels but applied technique sometimes changes. Just a thought. Keep up the great job.
Thanks so much for this video. Before I watched it, I was trying to go for a long time and getting my arms all crazy. Now, I know what to do next time. 🙌🎉🛼

This is the first video I've seen of yours, thank you
I just got my skates yesterday! Got to start from the basics again! Pray for me! 😂😂
Sooo helpful with my jam skating! Thank you!

I have been wanting to learn this 🤗

LOL I like watching you teach. I think I will call it a snack area for the rest of my life.
I'm going roller skating today so thank you for this video it helped alot 😊
Thank you so much I have a feeling this will be way easier than skateboard manuals
Thank you for being so thorough in your explanation! That way even beginners like me can work on it
I'm able to do a stationary heel toe manual for about 3 seconds and I cannot believe it.
Would love to see basic jam/ shuffle routines

This blue looks amazing on you! Going to practice, could you please build it towards the grapevines? No some breaks the movements as good as you.
Hahaha yaaa I rolled forward and immediately questioned my life choices and saw my life flash before my eyes. I was super stoked that I didn't fall as I screamed my way through it😅😅😅😂😂
Yay I finally have rollerskates that fit. A pair of suregrips. Now I can work on my program at home.

I forgot to say I love your videos Deborah.❤
Love Deb!!👏❤
Hi Dirty Deborah. I love your beautiful black leather roller skates boots.
I love you
These are fun to do. Did not know they are called manuals.
I love those Roll*Line Killer Plates on your skates! 💪🏽
I need to get back out there 2022 was a bit discouraging this is a great video
First time here, grest delivery and quite funny actually
I've watched so many of your videos, I'd recognize your voice anywhere
Thank you so much as always!
How do you make sure not to have your toe stops grab?
I got you Dirty!❤
Hi 👋 great video... can manuals be done with regular toe stops?
Your videos are my favorite 🥰 I was trying to order my first pair of Moxi's off their site, but unfortunately the promo code is coming back invalid. Was it only good till a certain time today?
Thank you for all the tutorials. They are all on my save list. 😊 But what wheels are you using in this video? I want to purchase those...Asap
That was so cool how you stopped when you said about seeing our progression.
Love her so much

Welcome back to skating and congrats on your progress so far. I wear Bones Elite 97
Just ran across your marvelous teaching video I thought this move was called toes splits I will be practicing more on these with balance. Thank you for sharing
You can call them toe splits. I think that is a better name :)
You the Best
Oh, man-ual! I really want to get good soon! I'm just starting... Literally in my house 😂
I try to practice these round cones to get some snakey curves going but I tend to run out of momentum 😂
Love love dbl D. Shuffle vid next time
That skate plate, tho😮 🔥
What wheels are you using for this vid? 🤔 Thank you for another great lesson 🙏
How do you do the cross over on the turns
😊😊

I haven’t graduated to jam plugs yet. I wonder if I can do this with regular toe stops??
You can, but you stand a higher chance of dragging the stopper which may cause you to lose balance.
Plugs are the way.
Are soft cushy insoles a decent idea for skates or would that create too much slop between the foot and skate??
Go with what makes you feel comfortable? Just make sure that the insult does not make your foot feel closed in
My feet hurt Dirty Deb in my skates. Do you have a video of that?
Hey Dirty Debra, I watch all your videos and I am a sub. Love your teaching methods. My rink has a wooden floor and my wheels grip way too much. They are indoor wheels but not designed for wooden floors. What wheels do you use in your videos? The white wheels on this video. 🙏
Have you checked the video notes? She usually has her skate details in the description.

Hi Dirty Debbie. My name is Earl. I love your black roller skates boots
If i pratice this on socks would it be helpful?
What's your choice when it comes indoor wheels, size & durometer please?
Bones Elite 97 or higher
So idk if my foot is flat or not, is it normal to feel more on my heels then my toes?
What wheels do you have? I love you!
Scared to death to not have all 4 wheels on the ground. Not progressing much. Down with the butt up with gut isn’t working well either. 😢
What kind of skates do you have 220 or 297?
220
I f*n L❤VE you!

Deb, do you have a secret cam installed in my house?! How did you know I am working on this now?! Hahaha thank you so much for this tutorial! 🫰🏻
