Ring was caught providing private clouded video without consent of the owner to law enforcement without a court order. Avoid at all cost, unless you want big brother sharing your living room ... or even worst, get your system disabled if they dont like a coment you made on social media.
Alarm dealer here. This video should be labeled “The best DIY alarm systems of 2023”. No professional standardizes on any of these products. Vivint is professionally installed but they are not considered a top brand by many professional alarm dealers.
vivint home security is ok. But watch out for their technician. They make false allegations against you and then they one day tell you technicians are never allowed to come and repair or add anything to your system because you are now a security risk. All because you called in and made a complaint against him. Total bull. Vivint is a joke. They have crybaby workers that need to just leave me alone.
all wireless systems are pretty much useless as they will be blocked with wireless jammers!!!! I know this from talking with police and from dealing with the breakins from the gangs and being gang stalked....truly worthless.
Do any of these offer recessed door and window sensors? I’m a custom builder/remodler…. My customers almost always choose black or custom color windows. They hate the large white sensors.

Alarm dealer here. Professional installers use recessed contacts all the time. I have literally installed hundreds of thousands of recessed contacts. There are really no recessed wireless options for windows. There were some options years ago but they were limited.
