6:19 This must be the luckiest moment in these runs to ever occur. Just as you hit zero health in the air, it leveled up your health and healed you.
It's been a while since I've played Up Your Arsenal, but I seem to remember that it's shields, not health, and could still be alive at 0, unless you get hit again

The death animation triggers once you hit the ground so the air time delayed the trigger and the level up cancelled it from activating.
this actually happened to me in the wrench only run i just did, i think it's more likely in wrench only cause you're constantly jumping around lol

@John’s Plushyverse Since you had other ways of damaging enemies, I thought about a 'No Shooting Run', throwing rocks and using servbots is allowed, maybe with the extra challenge you proposed.
Probably the best ps1 game.

VG Myths Formula:
- Making fun of your own show in the intro
- A 25-second sequence that boils down to "Here's what they intended us to do, but we'll do something else."
- Cheesy jokes throughout
- Brief moment of doubt that the challenge will be completed, only for the answer to come out of nowhere
- Ending that is pretty much "With the game finished... I'm done now."
- Huge gaps between uploads
- Amazing comment sections

@@BeanoNintendo Yes, but Squeak Squad doesn't have any abilities soon enough. Super Star (Ultra?) without floating is doable i believe

Spyro (original or reignited) without gliding? I attempted a no glide run of the first game once but got stopped at Beastmakers because I couldn't find a way to rescue enough dragons.

Great timing, I was planning on spending this entire weekend on my own in peace and playing through pretty much every single PS2 ratchet and clank game because I haven't done so since my childhood. I remember playing all these games dozens of times each because I rarely got to buy new games and it was awesome, even got the max amount of bolts in almost all the games except the first game
Wanted to say I really appreciate all your content, especially the effort you put into things like Region Freedom despite the lower views on those videos. Thank you for showing the west weird games we'd never see otherwise and that might end up forgotten.
What sets your challenge content apart from other creator's, is the sheer quality of your commentary.

Anyway: Can you beat Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga using ONLY Luigi?
Rules: All Overworld Actions with Mario are allowed (Because, come on, I'm not THAT cruel), however, Mario is sick of being the first to the fight all the time, so ALL Battle Actions (Past the Tutorial, unless there's some way to skip it, and yes... this even means dodging as Mario, as well as first strikes.) are NOT allowed, instead, all battles need to be fought with the eternal player 2, lean green himself, Luigi
The run truly starts when you first enter the bean bean kingdom in the star field area (After the border mini game)
Bonus Challenge: skip the tutorial? (I literally have nothing here, so if someone wants to do a better bonus challenge, please just put it as a reply!)

5:03 this is used in speedruns. The route goes through the cutscene first, then “fights” the boss.
You could have just switched to first person in options whenever there was an enemy out of reach. Every attack is a wrench throw.
Was wondering why he didn't make use of that.
In case someone wants to do this challenge, use the 1st person mode. You can throw your wrench in any direction, being really useful for flying enemies
Up your Arsenal was my first ever console game. Thank you so much for covering this, it's brining back so many memories. I used to run around as a big-headed snowman and it just made me so happy then.
This is my favorite ratchet and clank game. I played it so many times. I’m pretty sure I figured out that skip at the end to fly right to the final boss fight at one point. Good job man!

I recently tried a VG Myths inspired Max Payne run with lead pipe only. It was pretty painful but seemingly mostly doable.
