Great resource here Theresa, thank you! Following your vanilla guide I have been successful getting a running High Sierra machine (I have the GTX 1080ti). Only thing not working is Bluetooth for things like Handoff, Airdrop, Continuity, Universal Clipboard, Instant Hotspot, Apple Watch unlock, etc. I have the Asus 370 ROG Maximus X Hero (Wi-Fi AC) board which has a Bluetooth V4.2 chip built in. Is this supported natively or is it required to get the Broadcom BCM94360CS2 card for these Apple BT features? I have no need for Wi-Fi (using wired ethernet connection) just Bluetooth.
@@MorgonautHackintosh Wow thanks for the very quick reply. Just to confirm, the on-board wifi/bt chip is NOT compatible and I would need to replace it with the Broadcom BCM94360CS2. Do you know if that chipset is the easiest/most compatible Bluetooth option?
I am so glad to have found this channel. I have a Asus Deluxe II board and am having a lot of problem to have macOS running (build my hackintosh). I will definitely go through your videos (step by step) in order to complete the process. I have Mojave on my 2017 macbook pro, so I will install this version. Can you make the video about the Asus thunderbolt EX3 card? I can't get it to work so it will be very difficult to upgrade to a thunderbolt 3 audio interface to track and mix music. Btw, you're very beautiful and provide very good explanation on the matter.
@@MorgonautHackintosh Thx for the reply. So in this case it is better if I buy a new board with built in TB3? Which board do you advise? The board will be use for producing music, so it is very important if I can use audio interfaces via TB without any issues, and also be able to connect external HD via TB to be used as backup storage.
yes I did run catalina on this motherboard. And no, I will not produce a video about how to do it, because it's old motherboard and Catalina is several generations old system, to make a video for 1 person is not worth it
I'm sorry if I gave you a headache. I have an Asus motherboard where the operation of the Mojave system is easy to install, but when I try to install Catalina, it loads USB halfway. Do you have an opinion? Thanks again for your reply.
Very good video Teresa! I would really appreciate it if you would make a video with the steps to update a vanilla hackintosh installation, because during the process, new boot options appear in Clover and I do not know which one to select for the system to update correctly. Thank you in advance!
if your Hackintosh is really clean vanilla, then you should have no problem to update now to 10.14.3 for example. I post info about it about a week ago on my FB group. But always have a backup!
Great start up video :) Since the changes my screen resolution has shrunk on the monitor using the PCI Graphics card which the monitor was running fine on before these BIOS changes, any ideas?
Thank you! It was a big help. By the way, if you use Parallels desktop, turn on Intel virtual technology that she mentioned here. VT-d should be turned off because Apple doesn't support for it.

Thank you for this. I have an Asus Z170-P D3 motherboard with an i5 6500. I have to manually set my ram to DDR3 1333 since I have a mixture of 1333 and 1600 dimms. Normally Windows 10 and Ubuntu have little issues with my ram setup, but macOS is very particular. I’ll try these other settings to see if I can get Catalina to boot after installation. I’m getting a kernel panic early in the boot. I’m suspecting USB or the Intel 530 HD.
Great video again! Thank you so much. If you would get a MSI MOTHERBOARD un future, pelase do a bios setting tutorial, I got crazy to run my hackintosh!!! You are awesome!!!!!!!
Thank you Eduardo. But I don't understand why you want to run Hackintosh on not so compatible board, when you can simply buy the most compatible board. Don't add yourself troubles, go easiest way and you can get perfect Hackintosh and be happy.
You are right Morgonaut, the thing is, when I bought all my components I got an Asus motherboard from amazon but It was broken, I asked for help and a guy told me about getting MSI Motherboard... I did it and he put all components together (I am not able to do just by my self). Now I don´t have money enough and ability/knoledge to change everything, and I am trying Hackintosh this machine! Have you ever thought about it? a challenge in both ein?

Is this supported natively or is it required to get the Broadcom BCM94360CS2 card for these Apple BT features? I have no need for Wi-Fi (using wired ethernet connection) just Bluetooth.
quite NO wifi/bt chips on pc boards are compatible, so you need to swap it for compatible ones
The BCM94360CS2 is compatible. Just make sure you have the correct socket for it or correct adapter based on which size you will get
I am so glad to have found this channel.
I don't have any Asus TB cards. For native Thunderbolt I recommend better board
@@MorgonautHackintosh Thx for the reply. So in this case it is better if I buy a new board with built in TB3? Which board do you advise? The board will be use for producing music, so it is very important if I can use audio interfaces via TB without any issues, and also be able to connect external HD via TB to be used as backup storage.
best board for Hackintosh I introduced already in my video ruclips.net/video/9B_zYEcYHaE/видео.html

Ok thanks. Do you have any suggestion which mobo is the best in this case?
Hi,
Did you install Catalina on this motherboard? if yes, could you please make a video on how to do it. (A to Z)
Thanks
yes I did run catalina on this motherboard. And no, I will not produce a video about how to do it, because it's old motherboard and Catalina is several generations old system, to make a video for 1 person is not worth it
Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
Can you make a video of preparing a USB Catalina?
Thanks again and have a nice time.
I already did! It's the same as for Mojave and in video description is command for catalina. Are you aware I don't have only single video right? :(
I'm sorry if I gave you a headache. I have an Asus motherboard where the operation of the Mojave system is easy to install, but when I try to install Catalina, it loads USB halfway. Do you have an opinion?
Thanks again for your reply.
without deep inspection I can't say anything why you have this problem. Did you update your EFI?
i think secure boot key should be clean unless clover uefi won't boot. what do u think??
Very good video Teresa!
I would really appreciate it if you would make a video with the steps to update a vanilla hackintosh installation, because during the process, new boot options appear in Clover and I do not know which one to select for the system to update correctly. Thank you in advance!
if your Hackintosh is really clean vanilla, then you should have no problem to update now to 10.14.3 for example. I post info about it about a week ago on my FB group. But always have a backup!
@@MorgonautHackintosh Could you pass the URL of the thread? Thank you!
Great start up video :) Since the changes my screen resolution has shrunk on the monitor using the PCI Graphics card which the monitor was running fine on before these BIOS changes, any ideas?
Looks like only on the BIOS screen :)
Thank you! It was a big help. By the way, if you use Parallels desktop, turn on Intel virtual technology that she mentioned here. VT-d should be turned off because Apple doesn't support for it.
I don't use any software virtualization apps like Parallesls or Fusion. I have several physical virtualization servers
and you don't need to disable VT-d in BIOS, all my EFI folders have it disabled in config
We could connect privately because it would take longer and I don't speak the language, I can only work with a translation machine Dual would be stupid Dual would be stupid My problem is getting mixed up and Hackintosh doesn't come up on the motherboard Asus z370 _ a
Your videos are very good!
@Szabó János - already few years ago I made video about dual boot to warn people, but people don't listen to my advices, so then don't cry on my shoulder :) ruclips.net/video/bnUua6hfmjs/видео.html
I’m suspecting USB or the Intel 530 HD.
thanks you for your help
you're welcome
Now I don´t have money enough and ability/knoledge to change everything, and I am trying Hackintosh this machine! there are terms of the motherboard in the bios which does not resemble the one shown in the video, and does not exist. As long as I use same motherboard and graphics. The RAM and SSD that I use will work with Clover folders?
Does MSI Gaming M5 Enthusiast motherboard have support for hackintosh High Sierra with Nvidia GTX 1070 graphic card ?

is this a compatible build for hackintosh madam ?
Incase someone runs into the same issue as me. I'm using an Asus TUF Z390M PRO with the intel iGPU and I was getting a kernel panic trying to boot clover to get to the installer. The issue was I had to increase the DVMT Pre-Allocated from 32M to 64M
Can I do this whilst using windows? Or only when I am about to install MAC OS? Because once I did it, I couldn't load windows anymore and I had to force reset it.
Hello,
I have a Asus Z97A with i7 4790k. I can’t seem to get into the installer for Catalina. Any tips you could share?
What's the better option, a motherboard with integrated WiFi or just adding an adapter to a cheaper motherboard?
never integrated

I look forward the one for Gigabyte motherboards!
I just bought a B360N Wifi motherboard to be used wit an i3 8100 and its IGPU, but the Mojave installer I created with Unibeast keeps rebooting.

thank you. Video about how to setup BIOS for Gigabyte boards will be next time
Great! :)
Is there any substantial difference between B360 and H370/Z370 chipsets, in terms of hackintosh compatibility? I often see the latter recommended, but also saw a few people succeeding with B360 boards, so I went for the cheaper option.
Thanks again! :)
I build new hacks mostly on Z boards, because more poeple wants powerful builds and room for future upgrade. So yes, there are differences and each config must be tweaked for particular HW combination.
@@MorgonautHackintosh I would also love to see a setup for a Gigabyte B360N WIFI... I keep getting stuck on Verbose, early on the boot. It's very difficult...
do you think I can afford to buy ALL MAINBOARDS on the market? No, sorry, I will not buy your board just to shoot tutorial only for you.

can you use an ASUS H81M-PLUS motherboard as a Hackintosh?. It is i7 3600 with 16Gb RAM

I had an inside, will it be possible to rewrite the bios of a gigabyte motherboard or another for her to think to be an apple?
consists of removing the bios from the motherboard and using an eprom rewriter to download the chip to the computer, on the computer with a hex editor change vendor, sn, model ... rewrite and solder again on the motherboard so that the system can be installed natively without the need for software gimmicks. Have you ever thought about it? a challenge in both ein?
google for ozmosis

the BIOS setitings is the first step you shold do before installation itself
