      You guys must have missed the part where she says plants usually do WORSE in clay pots. Anyone who's planted anything other than cactus in a clay pot knows she is 100% correct in that the clay pot draws water AWAY from the plant.

    It seems to me that if you are grounding the antenna outside the plant, then a lot of energy (if there is any) is going into the ground, not the plant. If you are going to use a ground, make it separate on the opposite side of the pot so the energy (if there is any) flows from the antenna across the pot to the ground. That is how a radio works- in the antenna, through the radio, out the ground. Also, if the pot is sitting on the ground rather than on bricks, it will be electrically grounded through the hole in the bottom of the pot, from which roots will grow. Your present design is actually a short circuit.

      Grounding (as is the case with lightning rods) only gets rid of excess energy not all energy.
      The bottom line is that I was testing whether the methods shown on social media (which were the methods I used) worked and they didn’t.

      @@becksbasics1 Grounding the antenna is the problem. If you look around you will see designs where there is a clear relationship between antenna and ground. Apparently, some of those sources don't understand the idea of a circuit. I would suggest doing another experiment using a ground that is not connected to the antenna.

      ​@@becksbasics1 Hi, it's not the right way to do it... the end of the antennae should go into to the ground/earth of the plant's pot, not outside. My pot plants inside has recovered and grown bigger in 2 weeks. Please don't write off electrocluture before trying this.

      Just curious to know if the copper wire was coated or uncoated? Apologies if you have answered that question, if you did I didn’t catch it.
      Another RUclips channel discusses this and states that it does, scientifically work.

      @@jenniferjones3004 I'm using speaker wire, which is coated. The bottom two inches inside the spot were stripped. I use the same type of wire for shortwave antennas.

    I would definitely try again with the ground going into the pots near the roots. I believe the idea is to gather positive ions from the atmosphere and redistribute them through your potted soil (which is ground vs the atmosphere +) I’m just trying this for myself in my own garden. Give it another go with just a minor effort and adjustment. Good luck and thanks for being so descriptive with everything.

    I think you were supposed to put the grounding wire in the soil of the pot near the roots, but if I was you, I'd be reluctant to invest any more money. Maybe you could use the wires you already bought and next year put the grounding wire in the pot. I think you are very articulate, logical and fair minded. I enjoyed your video. Thank you!

      Thankyou Glen. The wires were also run into the pot so that they were grounded there as well. Tried them just grounded into the pot first and the plants started to die🙂

      Ya she did it incorrectly, so she needs to redo the experiment correctly. The ground is going to the ground outside the pot, so it won't work. JMO so don't freak out. I haven't tried it so what do i know, lol. Thanks Beck for your experiment and reporting the results. Everything helps when it comes to experimentation.

      @@carlosvangrinder3754 I tried it. I couldn't tell if it worked or not. Some plants thrived, but a couple took a dive. I was willing to try it as the most powerful forces in the world are inviable. Things like electricity, gravity and the power realized by splitting an atom.

    Thank you for your experiment, I always told this technique with the spiral on a stick doesn"'t work well, there are many other techniques that prooved to work very good from the past like the atmospheric antenna and the magnetic antenna, the galvanic battery and the round tower too.

      You're doing it incorrectly. The grounding needs to be in the pot with the plant. When you place the grounding rod outside of the pot, the energy goes into the ground and not to your plant...

    Thanks for sharing. 1 stick of 1m80 with copper around it as you did has a range of 10 m in diameter to call the atmospheric energy and create that vortex that spins around. North hemisphere the wiring is done clock wise, south hemisphere anti clock wise.

      No, it sould be clockwise north or south. Anticlockwise will slow growth.

    helo, as per Cultivate Elevate, if you put copper wire that spiral at wood must be directly on soil where the roots of plant , thats because the wire harnest the energy from tip to tip not around it, so as i see on your copper, the ions collected from wire goes to ground not on the soil

    I think you need only to ground it in the pot in which it's growing. You needn't run it over the lip of the pot and into the ground below the pot. You've by-passed the possibility of its effectiveness in that particular pot.
    Did you reach out and ask any of the many professionals in the electroculture field? All of them are so generous. Would've been happy to offer advice.

    Try your experiment again only just pot your antenna in the pot next to the plant. Don't worry about getting the wire to ground outside the pot.
    Is this your one and only experiment?

      If it’s not grounded (earthed) it doesn’t conduct electricity which is the premise of electroculture

    Well I wished for a better ending. I’m here in Texas giving it a go both in pots and the ground. I’m also incorporating magnetism.

    I’ve been experimenting with the copper wire now for about six months and every single plant with the copper wire is much smaller and spindlier than all the others. Then I’m told I’ve wrapped the wire the wrong way , or it isn’t in the ground deeply enough etc etc etc, to me they are just nit picking, it either works or it doesn’t. If it’s so precise then it’s too much trouble for what it’s worth. Also different ph’s in soils effect the absorption of copper. There are so many variables, until this is done as a scientific experiment in laboratory type conditions with proper scientific controls, to me it’s all hype and do it or don’t do it, one year you will get a great crop the next maybe not nothing. I’ve been gardening all my life and some years I have so much produce I’m giving it away to strangers and the next my cucumbers are covered in yellow beetles that decimate my whole crop. They even sit happily on the copper wire. You can believe or not however I like facts. I’m the mean time I’ll do what most good gardeners have been doing for centuries including planting according to the moon phases. Good luck to you all.
    In my garden What I do for healthy plants, is good soil at the right PH for what you’re growing,, the right amount of water, the right nutrients, no pesky snails and insects, \good mulching, no floods, fires, droughts, plagues or too many dogs pissing on your plants and lots of love and persistence.

    Why did you run your wire to the ground and not the ground inside your pot? You are supposed to hook the antenna to the earth the roots are in from what I can understand.

    Are the plants clones or from seed? A proper controlled experiment would be to use cuttings/clones so you have the exact same phenotype. Grown from seed can get different phenotypes that express themselves differently to other seeds.

    My one small concern is that should that wire ever get struck by lightning I am certain that the plants would be basically fried by electrocution should that happen. Another thought is that possibly the control plant and the experimental plant set ups are too close to each other and the end result is that they are both being affected equally? Thanks for the video - it does get the thought processes flowing about this topic and that right there makes it a success. Happy Gardening!

      Dude, if there is a lightning strike, the presence or absence of a wire will make no difference at all. Think about it - massive oak trees are split in half by lightning strikes. Do you really think a bit of copper wire will.make it that much worse?

    I agree, you are short-circuiting the soil in your pots. Ideally, place a copper wire loop in the bottom of your pots with a wire attached to the loop exiting the bottom of the pot to ground ,then add soil. This way the current will be passing through the soil.

    I've used copper phosphate to kill tree roots in my sceptic tank so can't imagine copper is good for gardening

      They’re two completely different things. Copper wire is pure copper. Copper phosphate are inorganic compounds with the formula Cu3(PO4)2.n(H2O). Anhydrous copper phosphate is a blue solid produced by a high-temperature reaction between diammonium phosphate and copper oxide.

    Thanks for your experiment! This is set up a bit differently than I would have tried. This is the first time I've seen an electroculture example in a potted plant, where the antenna is ALSO connected outside the potted plant and down to an earth ground. I would think the energy would take the easiest/best path, which would be to go to the earth rather than to the "floating" (not connected to the earth) plant. Is there a reason you set up the experiment this way? I could see if the roots from the potted plants are already penetrating into the ground then I might connect it all into one system, but for a potted plant disconnected from the earth, the recommendation I've seen is just wrap a wooden stick with copper and stick it upright in the pot and that's it.
    And if I could make sure I'm understanding your opinion (from this and the recent Electroculture video 9 days ago): it's all about nutrient flow. Soil only has so many nutrients. Using copper antennas MAY allow the plants to absorb nutrients faster/easier from the soil, making plants grow better, but since soil (especially when limited in raised beds or pots) has only a limited amount of nutrients, no matter what you do, you will always need to supply more nutrients to the soil so the plant can continue to survive.
    So electroculture may accelerate the growing process, but growing still takes nutrients and so this means the soil will run out of nutrients sooner than without electroculture. So it's like an engine: you can open up or restrict the air intake (adding or removing electroculture antennas) to an engine to adjust the RPMs, which also changes the fuel (nutrient) consumption/requirement, but no matter what, eventually you'll need to add more fuel (nutrients) to the tank (soil). Does that sum it up for you?
    I'm starting an experiment myself on a bunch of tomato plants in-earth in a greenhouse. I'll place the antenna in the middle of the back half of the plants and see if the back half does better than the front half. Not perfect, but the greenhouse is long enough that the front plants should be far enough away to act as a decent control. I do know the soil is already not looking too good though, but luckily we have composting going to add on. All the plants should get pretty equal treatment throughout the season. We'll see what happens!

      Thanks for your summary. Just in answer to your question about why I did the experiment this way - I was testing the same method as is being circulated on social media. Noting also that the grounding of the antenna only takes away excess electricity (as is the case with lightning rods) rather than all electricity.👍

      @@becksbasics1 Cool, thanks! I wonder if that hypothesis is correct: that only excess electricity will go into the ground. It sounds correct but I also know electricity to follow the most-grounded path whenever it can, so that leads me to wonder how much gain the plant would get if it's not in the path of the electricity (it would go down the antenna then flow out the grounding wire to the earth, so it would not travel through the potted plant).
      This leads me to think of another experiment to try more ways to see what works best: 1. In-ground, 2. Potted, 3. potted with antenna, 4. potted with antenna with ground connection, 5. In-ground with antenna. Unfortunately there would likely be interference between 1 and 5 and maybe 4 unless these experiments took place a decent distance apart.
      I hadn't seen the version you speak about in social media, but I am relatively new to the subject on youtube so I've only been paying attention to electroculture for the last month or two.

    I have a question. Would you think that if using in ground (not post) would you suggest if we want to try to maybe put the copper in the ground from March to September only, then remove from October to February from for soil/plants to let them all rest over the winter, but also add compost/manure/mulch etc as I would normally over winter?

    Hi beck, this was very interesting! I'm just curious - you said you were testing the electroculture on potted plants, yet you put the end of the copper wire into the ground as well as having it wrapped around the stake in the pot - what was the purpose in doing that? Did you push the other end into the soil in the pot before wrapping it round the stake as well?
    I'm just new to this subject, so trying to learn as much as I can? 😀🙏🪴🌱💕

      She does it wrong. Its simple basics. The energie wil follow to the ground and not in the pot. The same you do for lightning. The effort she has done is for nothing. I would say do it again and rwad a little bit more and make a new video. Otherwise is a waste of time.

      Yes I wound it around the stake and drove that into the ground but also connected an additional wire to the stake that was connected to the primary wire and drove that into the ground

      I think I noted in the video that I was not putting any electrical charge through the coil or ground. The test was ONLY what has been circulated on the internet about a simple wire coiled around a stake and driven into the ground which was supposed to have dramatically improved garden growth and productivity

    The new TikTok trend is to put your planet in the microwave first for 20 minutes and then in the oven at 425f for 5min on broil (no longer because it won't work.
    Others tried it the the Instant-pot instead of microwave and they had same results.

      That’s not what a lot of the videos promoting electroculture say. Many say just a stake with the wire coiled around it will give results. That’s what I was testing

    You could try to ground it to the soil in the pots the plants are growing in. An Airplane ground is not the floor of the earth. It's to it's body. same for plants it soaks up water from root to leaves it uses static electricity and ground is not on the earth but the soil in the pot. You didn't do all you can. you should redo it by grounding not to real ground which is what you call it but to relative ground or soil the plant in the pot has its roots in. Electroculture should work as a scientist I say. It's how nature does it's thing.

    Cool idea good thinking... I'd be watching to see as environmental conditions change for example we have lightning and or CME exposure that's where he would get the highest rate of photons collecting... Just a thought that the condition hasn't been met that would cause the electroculture to be of any benefit... So definitely keep us posted long-term and keep an eye out for after CME events or lightning in the area to detect any additional growth

      @@Figs4Life you could try anyting the higher the amperage the more pests it will kill along with that bacteria etc so low amperage my guess is in the 500 milavolt range is enough to stimulate mineral and keep from killing off healthy bacteria

    i think you have to put thicker copper wire and above the plant.. Ideal would be copper pipe with small antenna on top and definatelly burried in the soil, not next to !

    I think this test wasn't really proper . You only had two specimens of each to test; There could be other factors that slowed one and sped up the other. Ideally you need higher numbers for a better idea. Also pot types were different with the first plants. The other thing that caught my attention was that I don't recall seeing the method being done where you grounded in the pot AND into the ground. It's not enough to say ''it doesn't work'' unfortunatley

    I dont think fiberglass pot is a good eletrical conductor, considering your wire touches the pot. The idea is that the energy (electrical current from the air) shall be transferred to the ground where the roots of the plants are. And, just to let you know that I did try building a small pyramid using chopsticks, and according to my observations, plants inside the pyramid tend to be healthier than the ones that are not. So, it would be interesting to try to shape the wire into the shape of pyramid or make it spiral down and gradually increasing the circumference as the wire circles down before grounding it.

      @@becksbasics1 the problem is that when the wire touches the pot, the transmission of the electrical current could stop immediately. In other words, the fiberglass blocks the transmission. And, it would be quite a probability of good result if the wire was grounded into the soil where the roots of the plants are.

      In my view, if it's antenna you wanna build, then i'd personally suggest to build taller one. Probably around 8 feet and you coukd give it some distance. But, i would suggest you to build a smaller version first to see how it turns out. And, you could find the design on google. Furthermore, if you wanna build a pyramid, a simple and small pyramid would suffice. I donr know how impactful the result would be, but as long as the main trunk that touches the ground is within the pyramid, that would always have the effect. If you'd like to see the more obvious one, you could do some tests, with the control group.
      Anyway, in my opinion, scientific community that is not really related to those huge corporations shall conduct much more research on these two possible technology that may probably help humanity as a whole. Nobody knows for sure in terms of scientific sense as to how far would the two technology affect the plants, environment and organic things.

    I have been annoyed by people making implausible electroculture claims in many RUclips Videos. That it grows at least 200% more and that some conspiracy suppressed the idea when no one stops them from doing it themselves or posting videos for years endorsing it.

    Did u sand the enamel off the wire? If not its not absorbing the energy. Its effectively insulated from the energy. Tryin it now myself. Stripd wire, then sanded off all the enamel that coats the wire. Mine is 20ft or so in the air then stuck in the ground. Also makin a teepee for beans to climb outa sanded copper wire connected to the antenna ran into the ground. If it works this is a huge antenna so should be drastically bigger

    This experiment is not going to be very accurate. Since they say one antenna covers 225 square feet. So unless you grow plants inside the 225 sq and other plants outside the 225 sq feet it's going to be inaccurate.

    Looking at your tomatoes you have aloud water to splash up from the ground place cardboard around the base of your tomatoes to stop tomato blight that is why your leafs are turning brown

    If the plants are in pots and you ground out your antenna like you did then it would not work since you are connecting the circuit to the natural ground. Your bypassing the pot plant by grounding it. This is why its not working for you. Try again and don't ground the antenna to the ground. I don't know if you use industrial fertilizers but if you do then stop using them. The iron in the fertilizers will slow the growth in your plants. you want to pull the ether into the pot not to natural ground.

    I will share a thought... as for "True grounding... as with Industrial / electrical grounding... we need to sink a "True Grounding Rod" in the ground and then wire the antenna to That... not stick the wire into the top soil ... as that not really "Grounding" the antenna.. in wiring the pt antenna to the main grounding rod... you will likely get a much different result... { a True Ground rod is to have a minimum diameter of 5/8” and a minimum length of 10 feet.(some are 12" at a depth of 6') These are to be driven into the ground in a vertical position or an oblique angle not to exceed 45 degrees at a location 10 feet from the electronic equipment, the ground plate, or the wires and cables connected to said potted Antenna } #My2Cents ... #NTesla

    You should not have grounded it to the earth the pot is the earth. I have been doing this for a while now I even use a magnet's if. Take the wire out of the ground and just leave it in the pot. This will work I have plant plants in a month. The one that I have electroculture is twice as tall. As for using magnets if you put the south part of the magnet facing up next to the plant it will also help it grow faster.

      It will not let me post pics in Comment's. You just need to make sure that your soil is adequate . water drains well enough. And if you're gonna use copper, do not go into the ground. Just go into your pots.. Yellowing in the center of the leaves is a nitrogen efficiency. When you grow in pots, they tend to use up a lot of the nutrients really quickly, so you have to add some accordingly.
      The Ph if soil can change really fast as well. Flowers and ornamental bushes are easy to grow, but vegetables and fruit are a different beast altogether trying to grow in pots. If I were to suggest anything, it would do bush beans and pots, but get your soil correct with natural fertilizers. And do your electroculture with that use at least five gallon bucket twelve to fourteen inches of dirt.

This was tested and recorded by Thomas Edison (discoverer of the light bulb) himself. His team discovered that carbonized bamboo could conduct electricity and that the bamboo wire could last up to 1200 hours. That’s what I based my thinking on. I definitely don’t know. 🙃

      Thanks for the suggestion but I’ve been gardening for 50 years so it wouldn’t be over watering. The cucumbers weren’t next to the metal fence so not that either. My plants started to die until I took the wires out. Believe me - I WANTED it to work so my energy was in the right place 😁

    listen. I know you mean no harm, but you actually do harm with this because you got it all wrong. I haven't seen the other parts of the series however there are a few mistakes you might unknowingly have done. First of all, before you try something new, try to understand what you trying to accomplish in the first place and not just hope for mysterious results to appear.
    The concept of electroculture is to collect Ether from around and send it to the root environment where everything living might benefit from it. Do you even know what you did here? You collect the energy and ground it instead. That's what you did.
    here is some beginning advice to start working with:
    1. Make sure the wire you using is pure conductive material without any addition or coating. Pure copper for example.
    2. Make sure you connect the target area where you want to conduct the energy with the antenna
    3. Make sure you wrap those wires clockwise. If you do it the opposite way well, take a guess what it do instead in that case.
    4. Try to get hands-on Quartz crystals and put them onto the very top of your antennas, these crystals have more into them I recommend reading something about them as well besides this topic.
    you can enhance this also with magnets or a Tesla coils but before you do either of that I highly recommend doing a deep research because you might again unknowingly switch the poles and again rather do more harm instead. With coils you need 2 Tesla towers connected at the root level underground and at the canopy level above the ground, be really careful when trying such and ofc use only conductive materials.
    When you find out please delete this video and correct yourself so people don't hesitate to use this ancient and proven working techniques. Good luck

I did all of those things (except magnets and crystals which I’ll address in a second) you said and none of them worked. And - yes- I totally understand the concept. Also, I was testing what was being circulated on social media which did not include magnets or crystals.
      So two things:
      1. I will not be taking down this video since science is supposed to include all views, perspectives and experiments - not just the ones that you agree with
      2. Please post photos of your own experiments (with control groups) so we can see your results

    Just by looking at it I can tell your copper wire is too thin and the loops need to be closer together, you are magnetizing the soil, I did my antenna with thicker copper without the stick in the middle. You know it's working when you touch your tree and you feel a little shock on your finger. The dead branches on my tree started to appear in 6 days. Thicker copper wire, a series of spiral close togeather going an antenna going up about 6ft, it's grounded 6-inches deep in the roots by the trunk. Good luck

He was a bid dissapointed, because Yannik did not answering some questions, and the results of his yard were not amazing. And his approche was not very scientificially we use to work, he said. His name is Martin Vis. He discovered that some roots of his roses are not growing downward, but upward. Could it be that the upper surface of the earth is to positive? How is 5 G affecting the nature? Questions, questions......

      I moved on and from what I've gleaned from other sources, I won't be engaging in this because I don't view the added expense as being worth the modest gains in production. There's a reason commercial growers don't engage in electro culture.
