Thanks for the Mother's Day video. I love it. A great band, music video and song for you two to react to would be Wolf Totem by The Hu Band. They're a Mong band from Mongolia. You'll love them and they are very different but amazing. ❤
Can I reach y’all on Instagram? I don’t want anything, jus wanna tell y’all something 😊🥰
When the world needed them most they returned
@@carters527 💯👏👏👏
Never in a million years did I think kids from this generation would feel the same way about the music from my time the way I do. Good for you.
Actually I'm from the new generation
And LOVE the song, pretty sure I do as much as you do
Why? Good music is good music.
Just a little info. The only one that’s still living is the one in the middle and his name is Barry and the other two are twins believe it are not.
They also had a brother who is dead and his name was Andy Gibb
they are just faking it.
My God, I so hope someone is showing this to Barry! ❤️🙏🏻 He deserves to know how much joy they still give to the world & the new generation,l. They're loved as much as decades ago. Well done, you too!
I was thinking the same thing. He really needs to see this!
Preach! he actually said this in an interview.
Yeah he would be so proud and happy
so hard to believe he's all alone now, all three brothers gone and he's the eldest. Songbirds silenced too early. Barry would love to see this reaction to his voice. WEll done you two.
Love your reactions. You truly appreciate greatness. 😊
The BeeGees didn’t sing about women - they sang to women 💞
And that's how men lose their women lol
👏💯 yes they did ❤ certainly to my 14 year old heart and soul when this was released. What an amazing time to be a teenager- the 70’s best ever ✌️❤
You have no idea how happy your reaction to our music from the 70s makes us feel. Our world needs more of this.
You got it! I have watched 30 reactions of our young ppl to this ONE SONG and tears come to my eyes every time. ♥
They wrote it in one day and did this live in one take...one mike...no autotune back then...and they donated all the proceeds of this song to unicef. .,.to this day...SO happy you love them too😊
way cool
I love how they would use 1 mic
Never knew that! It really looked like it was live to tape. But I figured it was just good lip syncing. 😳😳😳
They were lip syncing to the original track. They recorded 9 Vocal tracks in the studio. Can't do that live. Also Barry's high notes continue to sing in the chorus even as he's singing fill-ins. And let's not forget the fade out at the end. If the Fade Out was live you would hear each instrument stop at some point. It's a perfect Studio Fade Out. Studio being the operative word
@@cobbwebsI bet they were singing live and added the other voices in
I love you guys. I'm an old white lady who watches these reaction videos just to see someone who actually feels what I feel when I hear the song. I'm the opposite of what you are in every way, and we all have that soul in our blood. Thank you, I know my music is in good hands.
Me too Girl! Remember the slow dances in the back of the y? Sweetness…
Me too, aged 69 blow my mind everytime Robin was always my favourite I adored his Vibrato
I do it for the exact same reason and it makes me so happy when they are just amazed and love the music the way I always did and still do! But I'm way younger than y'all lol I'm just 56! Just kidding !
I'm an old white lady too!! haha

This was pure music, pure talent from a less cynical world.. No auto-tune, no computers, just three beautiful Brothers with beautiful voices in front of a gorgeous Orchestra singing their hearts out ❤
I’m an older woman and I just love these kids. They get it.
I LOVE how you guys listen to these classics with an open mind. You're starting to understand why us old heads love our music so much.
100% 👍❤🇦🇺
I was listening to “send me notes” a few mins ago. Song still slaps. It’s not a Coincidence artistry drastically decreased with full adoption of digital instruments in mid/late 80s
How nice it is to be an old head
He had me laughing the whole time he's funny his reaction was the best
Glad their generation have discovered us "oldies" music, they are in for one helluva ride....70's, 80's, what a time to be a teenager!.....Brothers Gibb, no words can express this sort of talent. Love their reaction...makes me feel happy inside.
Now you know why the 70's was the best time for music. When you listen to the Bee Gees, you become a fan!
66 onwards was the best music ever. Especially 66
@@412bonesespecially Otis Redding and Al Green.
I am a 72 year old whiie woman who loves watching your reactions to the music we loved so much in the 60's and 70's. Nothing compares IMO. The BeeGees were phenominal, all of their songs are awesome. I have had one of their songs running through my head for years. Their harmonies, the two leads...just pure talent. True story I saw a documentary on them many years ago... when they lived in Manchester, England (where my mum was from), when they were little boys and would go out on outings with mum and dad their mum said they were always singing and harmonizing in the back seat of the car. One day she said to Dad, we should do something with these boys' voices, then the emigrated to Australia where they started singing in talent shows.
Born in the 60’s, teen in the 70’s , college kid in the 80’s. The best of times ! Thrilled that this young generation is realizing how truly amazing that music was. ❤
The Bee Gees gave the profits from this song to UNICEF.
u sure? I tought they did that with Children of the World
Wrong. The Bee Gees gave the profits from this song to every human's heart.
@@tomasfernandez5207 yep I am sure. Too Much Heaven" is a song by the Bee Gees, which was the band's contribution to the "Music for UNICEF" fund. They performed it at the Music for UNICEF Concert on 9 January 1979.
That's true. I heard it for the first time in a live broadcast celebrating the year of the child in the UN green marble hall, a child then.

As a older guy who grew up in the 70’s, you two made me smile and filled my heart with joy. It is so satisfying to see this wonderful music fill you with the same bliss that it has always given to me.
It is my sincerest wish that Mr. Barry Gibb may somehow stumble upon your video, and have his own heart filled with joy after watching you two. I hope and pray that he knows there is a whole world of young people out there that are discovering everyday, the one of a kind music they wrote and sung. There will never be another band like them.
Hear Hear. I'm probably of a similar age to you, and hope BG sees it.
Yes
I was thinking the same thing.
Very well said. I appreciate so much your comment and love passion for their music and your explanation about them.
I had mentioned earlier slow dancing at the y but forgot to mention the roller rink too..
Full orchestra, one mic, recorded live, one take, no auto tune or computers. Just hard work. Donated all proceeds from this to UNICEF for hungry children. Welcome to the 70s where men sang TO women and not ABOUT them! Great reaction y’all!
Barry's beautiful falsetto always makes them freak out😂😂😂Love to watch the disbelief on their faces when beautiful Barry steps up to the microphone and lays it down! Blows them all away😂😂😂
I don't believe in our lifetime, we will ever hear 3 melodic voices come together like this ever again.
Lot of aspiring group that has the same style like them but no one can do it like Bee Gees.
No never
For sure 👍
Nope. Their voices were like gifts from heaven.
You will, don't worry.
You know how elder folks like me always say, “They don’t make music the way they used to”……The Bee Gees are a good example of what we mean.
This guy is so much PERSONALITY!! HE'S A RIOT!!!
I don't know how you listen to this song and not become lifelong fans of the Bee Gees. They are such a gift to modern music. Musical and lyrical geniuses. Their music is unmatched.
Barry's voice is a musical instrument.
But all three together was magic.
Barry was was once asked why don't robin play any instruments his reply was his voice is his instrument
amen...bit all three of them are instruments if their own!
His voice is unreal!!!
@@chasefreedom5178 Extraordinary!!
No auto-tune needed! Just pure talent
Barry has such control and he sings it so beautifully
I’m 73 yo and I love to watch first time listener’s reactions. I love that you love the Brothers Gibb! I’ve always been in love with them and their music since the sixties. So many many songs they wrote and performed for 5 decades. Long successful careers. Barry Gibb with his twin brothers Robin and Maurice. RIP Robin and Maurice. Also RIP Andy Gibb❤
This is why you never hear other singers cover beachy songs because they can not hit his notes. This was a live recording with an orchestra as they recorded their video. Barry's voice is truly a gift from God. It's timeless❤
When he said, “I wish I could meet them in person?” What! Barry is the last Gibb. Andy, died at 30….Maurice gone, and Robin…the worlds heart is broken for Barry…
These brothers, their harmonies..the best.
I was going to say that. Unfortunately poor Barry is the only Gibb brother living. I hope he can still at least meet him. 🤣🤣💕💕
In the 1970s, sweetie, we were as nuts about this as y'all. I wore out 8-track tapes of Bee Gees albums. I played it in my T-bird constantly. I was in love with Barry Gibb. So you go ahead and rejoice that we all happened to be on earth at the same time.
Because I'm a 90s kid I grew up listening to these songs on cassette and radio, as a young kid I never realized this music was from the 70s I just thought it was stuff that came out at the time. I'm 28 now and still enjoy digging into their catalogue, they have so many great songs.
Who thinks the higher above sends these talented angels to brighten our world?? They're voices are angelical.
The masters of falsetto harmony. Forever associated with that high, airy sound to their voice, and the precision of their improvisation. Barry had an agile touch with his phrasing, beautiful stuff. Robin and Maurice with their smooth, bright chorus. Just gorgeous.
Simple Marvolous❤❤❤❤
its not easy to sing with that level of falsetto and keep it flowy and silky smooth
Their lyrics were so good, too. They wrote hundreds of songs 🎵
So happy to see these young people appreciate what has to the most underrated band ever. Because they were so successful they weren’t taken seriously. Now we realize what geniuses they were. These brothers are still influencing music too. R.I.P. the brothers Gibb. Thank you Barry God bless.❤️❤️❤️❤️
Underrated? 😊😂😂. With respect, that word is vastly overused. Bee Gees have mad respect from the biggest names in history. Many number ones, song writers, Rock Hall of Fame, Grammy Awards, worked with everyone from Streisand to Dolly Parton, even the Foo Fighters love them. They made movies, TV specials and also had solo hits as well as a band. Please don’t say they’re the most underrated band ever. That’s just ridiculous
My childhood right there 💗 My older sister and I 👩👧💕
My favorite group , I am hooked on the Bee Gees 48 years now. Those harmonies and Barry's falsetto vocals are divine gifts.
Never ever underrated in my eyes!!!❤❤❤
I’m not sure where you get underrated
Barry and his beautiful soaring falsetto voice shines on this song and sends it soaring to a whole other stratosphere. Their beautiful harmonies are out of this world ❤❤❤
I thought who doesn't know this group or listen to their music, then I remembered....I'm old and this was a band of my youth
To be honest I'm not even sure because I've heard the Bee Gees on the radio and cassettes since I was a young kid, I'm a 90s kid who is 28 now and still enjoy digging into their catalogue (including all their songs they wrote for other artists).
A lot of people were conceived with this song. You can't tell me otherwise.
So when did a young person need an excuse?
We called it “Baby Making Music” back in the day.
You can credit 25% to 35% of the population to Bee Gees and Air Supply.
@@acyour aaahhh, Air Supply, I remember my sister and my girl cousins all crying over their cassette back in ‘81!

Yes Barry is the only one left and has the #1 album right now in the UK at the age of 74!
I love these reactions when Barry takes it up a notch... just genuine love and respect for that voice.
We were so spoiled in the 60's and 70's. We were the luckiest generation for music! I just took the BeeGees for granted. I grew up hearing them all the time.
I have to say this. It is "F" ing Cool to see a young couple find the joy this band gave in my childhood. ENJOY I know I did.
So cool im so glad they found them. We had a great childhood full of real music
I know right?? I'm 56, and totally agree!!
54 here. And yeah, the music we had growing up was unreal 😀
Yes?
You can’t beat the bee gees 👍
man, they literally don't write songs like this anymore. Listen to lyrics and harmonies. just on another level. period.
Barry Gibb has written something like 1000 songs, most performed by other people.
Times change, Can't expect everything to stay the same. I hear you tho old school music hit different 💯
Seriously? Of course 'they' do. There are incredible musicians out there today writing music just as good as this. You just don't hear it on the mainstream radio. I'm a professional musician, and listen to amazing modern music every day. Too many ignorant people don't realise that musicians now are generally better than musicians 30+ years ago because of our access to knowledge. Also the people behind the popular music are generally pretty damn good too. The musicians playing on tracks, mixing, producing are the best we've ever seen.
@@brassholio just read your comment and thought I would drop one regarding it...you say there are ppl now writing and recording music just as good as this, I want you to name just one song recorded within the last 10 years which you would consider to be a classic, remember this song is over 40 yrs old...and it was recorded when there wasn't so much 'technology' has there is now, so I want you to tell me one song recorded in the last 10 yrs which is a classic
@@rikkiejohnson9134 What is the criteria for a 'classic'? We can't know what music is going to be a classic in 40 years time.
I would say I have a much more informed perspective of this than you, given that music is literally my industry and I have been working professionally for 20 years.
Why not listen to some Dirty Loops or Snarky Puppy or Jacob Collier. They're more popular but still decent representations of interesting music that still grooves. Gordon Goodwin or Michael Giacchino are phenomenal, award winning composers, writing excellent music as we speak.
The problem is, the common consumer gets so obsessed with popular music and everything that comes with it (good looking, young people selling sex in their film clips, instagram, twitter etc).
I personally love the Bee Gees. There are some pop tunes that I like as well. I also listen to music from pretty much every genre. The Bee Gees harmonies and voicings really aren't that complicated, so to say that they don't write songs like this any more is silly, because pop music is littered with it.
The Bee Gees were the Best. Their voices were absolutely beautiful, especially Barry. You don't hear voices like this today. So gifted, so talented and pure raw talent. No auto tune, no yelling and screaming, they Just could sing and the Harmony was ridiculous! Amazing, amazing voices from God!❤❤😊😊❤❤😊😊

They have genuine appreciation for the extreme talent that the BeeGees had. I was in high school when they had so many hits in the 70s. Fun fact about The Beegees. The beegees actually helped save Diana Ross’ career and cement her as a legend. Her career was struggling so the beegees decided to help. Nice to see the younger generation enjoying the old school classics❤
Now you know why we elders don’t listen to today’s music….music was real. Today’s music is dead. But y’all make me smile with your reaction.
I think, one thing that amazes me is that they all sing over a single microphone. why is it amazing?
this means there's no recording mixing among their voices, has to be done MANUALLY between them.
yet they manage to go closer and further perfectly, to allow each and everyone voices can be heard.

No auto tune, no efects, just the talent and the voice.. Bee Gees.
The thing is..Bee Gees have been perfecting their music for many decades. Brothers harmonies.
No one can touch them now.
There's a great new documentary on the Bee Gees called 'How can you mend a broken heart'. It's terrific. Sad but terrific.
Highly recommend this documentary. Amazing.
I’ve watched it three times❤️❤️❤️
Their best is “Fanny (Be Tender with My Love)”.
Such a classic tune,I grew up with the BeeGee's in the '70.
Good to see the younger generation giving this music time and respect, thank you🙏🏼
