Hello, I'd like to know if you could tell me how I can get the metal backing off of my LG VK810 tablet, so I can replace the battery in it. The VK815 is not made like the VK810 unfortunately. I found out the hard way. I tried to take it apart like you did in your video of the VK815, but I found out there not built the same way. I hope you well be able too help me out somehow. Thanks. Hello, I checked all other video's on RUclips and nobody does any repair video's on the LG VK810 with the metal back. There's just a bunch of unboxing review videos on it.

Thanks for the vid! What if you just want to reconnect the digitizer? Does the LG G Pad X 10.1 have one similar to other tablets on RUclips or is it different?

None on eBay, but found one on Amazon. Unfortunately, the cost between a new screen and buying a fully functioning refurbished system is about the same.

By following this. Basically you take everything off and reconnect.

The screen is connected to a frame it’s easier to replace the face frame with the screen. That the way it comes.
