I really like the rebuilds soundtrack ...people in japan actually really like the series deepness while it has a negative western opinion..the show is pretentious as corny as hell though ....its 90's cheese at its best...animes today are so much better but its classic and remembered so that's a good thing...

On top of that, anything too hefty would not allow them to move easily through the sky. It makes perfect sense in the context of the series.
