Moisez Cortez I actually had only watched the original until recently I started watching 5ds. It's actually really good. Yugioh GX I never really liked so I never tried watching any of the other series until now and I'm glad I did.
Honestly, Yugioh 5ds is the best in the series for me, it's great!

I kind of think part of the reason it's so hysterically funny is that they don't have to limit themselves to a series. These jokes wouldn't work as well and would be really difficult if they had to maintain the entire show with them as an ex band, but they could do gags like that which they can't in their long term abridged series specifically BECAUSE this is a one shot, you know?
It'd be awesome to see what they'd do with a fully abridged 5ds series, but it wouldn't be anything like this

Daniel Elv I think it has to do with the tone of the show. It's very somber and serious, and while there is comedy to be gleemed from the first few episodes I imagine a full series would get more and more difficult.
And it's got such an involved plot condensing it would be hard.

You're gonna find people who complain about every series that doesn't have yugi. I wouldn't say it's better than zexal (but I love zexal) but in my opinion 5ds is pretty fantastic and has some interesting characters and themes.

Speaking of season 4 of GX, they never dubbed season 4 of 5ds either- which sucks cause I heard the battle against ZONE was pretty cool. It's just hard for me to switch to the Japanese dub after listening to the English dub for three seasons. Why did they dub all of Zexal when they totally passed over the cooler series?
