This part just proved that card games are the only valid solution when you're dealing with supernatural powers. Marik can use mind control, Bakura can steal your soul, Pegasus can read your mind, Atem can trap you in a hallucination for the rest of your life... You need something to distract these psychos or they'll mess you up.

Atem just has the ability for fate to cheat on his behalf every time there's a chance he might lose a game. This is why he was cool with everything going over to a children's card game: his ability to topdeck any card in his deck whenever he needed it was the most consistent way to auto win possible with his shoddily constructed main deck toolbox barely any extra deck deck.

Yugioh Abridged became so hilarious once it hit the Noah episode arc. The writing really came into its own and became something truly special

Ishizu's only real point is to give Yugi the Millennium Necklace and start the Battle city Tournament. Outside of that, yeah she just stands around and acts stoic. Pretty pointless if you ask me.
Samaru onesixthree Starting the Battle City Tournament is pretty huge. That alone made Ishizu more relevant than 90% of the secondary characters. Lol
