I'm so grateful for Eddie Muller introducing me to Cornell Woolrich. I tore thru several novels & short stories. He is a truly unique talent, and I've seen a few, honey! 😎

Those sure are some beautiful shots from the movie. A great reminder of how much of an art form B&W cinematography could be.

Awesome intro. I am an "oddball". I had a dream a week ago: my pajamas had pockets. I was crushed when I woke up and found they had none.

Bummer! Pockets really do come in handy....even in PJs! I once dreamt I ate a giant marshmallow. When I woke up, my pillow was gone!

@jubalcalif9100 Aye. I even avoid the wee marshmallows. One needs pockets. Where else would keep tissues to weep for the folk that like Scottish humour?

@roderickcampbell2105 I heard that it takes a surgical operation to get a joke into a Scotsman. Anyway, wonder if they like Film Noir up in the Highlands?

Eddie’s lusty appreciation for Susan Hayward is adorable, and he’s so right. She is achingly sexy in this role. The dress, the tousled hair, the gleaming lips, not to mention the wit and softness of her character… she makes all the nonsense worthwhile!

This movie is full of great and even historical names. But it is still a piece of awful junk.
