    Nice one Bruce. It's not the fall, but the sudden stop that causes the pain and injury mate haha.

    Bit late watching this episode, sorry! But I had to tell you something that has given me a laugh.
    After you said Annie and the girls had gone to Earthsong you continued with the gurt building and said it was very hot, you needed to change into something more weather appropriate. Then next shot of you was walking with timber between the joists. Obviously you have changed into beige shorts, but from the angle and quick glimpse it looked like you were naked from the waist down! 😳🤣🤣🤣 I’d say I need to go to spec savers, but I have my glasses on, haha. Made me chortle.

      I didn’t have the right length nails for it unfortunately and they only sell large quantities so had to do it the old fashioned way. 4 inch nails and a hammer and still have more noggins to nail in 😂

      @@OffGridBruce The four descending notes during the blues turnaround - you've synced everything beautifully, but the actual notes the impact driver makes match those in the tune...you're not telling me that's coincidence?! Amazing either way.

    Wow, SO much work is going into the yurt base - one has no idea! Nice to hear the budgies, pigwigs adorable, hope bees settled in ok. First hive inspection here next week, I’m second in command & clueless apart from making up sugar solution but do now have a proper suit & gloves. Bees loving their new wbc hive. Where have the girls all gone to?

    Are you using decking boards for the deck?
    What diameter is it? Looks big??
    Certainly looks strong enough to me!
    Be a good base for an off grid roundhouse like Kris Harbour’s…….

    • @OffGridBruce
      @OffGridBruce  2 года назад +2

      It’s 21ft. I’m putting normal t&g floorboards and staining them for a nice rustic effect. I wanted to get reclaimed boards but they wanted more for that than new ones 😂 I said to annie if we ever moved the yurt somewhere else I could build a cool structure on it

      @@OffGridBruce I used to use secondhand timber on all my buildings…. until covid 😳
      I used to get it for free or very little…. New seconds timber is now cheaper than reclaimed!
      We are going for planning permission for 2 Scottish “huts” on Ghost Haugh Wood to hopefully rent out as off grid holiday accommodation, I’d love to build one like kris harbours house…
