In America we call it take 2 or take 3, and we call candy floss cotton candy funny Isn't it funny that thing's are different name in different countries? It's great watching you guys.
Was it loud in this vlog in particular or all of them recently? I used to have this issue when my mic was playing up and I’m having terrible trouble with this mic at the moment
@@OffGridBruce it varies from each but I had you on follow on play, whatever that's called, sorry it's hot, some were balanced others you were mumbling away and then suddenly... A TUNE
As a dad with two young girls I really like the way your girls are always there learning by your side. It's very inspirational. Every time I watch the videos I notice it and it makes me smile. Can't wait to see the yurt and really liked the technique you have used. Out of interest what is the dimension of the circle you have used and where did you order the yurt? Thanks again and keep up the great videos :)
Smart move mate.. I thought for sure you were Scottish at first.. you don't know how lucky you are to live where there are no mosquitoes.. I live in the flat lands of the Mississippi river delta in Arkansas
I have Scottish heritage. Where we are we get midges in their droves. Personally I can handle them but it drives most people mad. Luckily they don’t come out when it’s windy which is most of the time here 😂
You're doing a great job Bruce and Padre, of the footings, I'm sure it was a big tick off your list of work 🏡⚒️. Nice try with the candy floss machine, hehe 🍭😉 happy birthday to your youngest 🎂🎁. Does Annie work online? Many congratulations on reaching your 10k, yayyy🙏🌟🌟
Thank you. Yes feels good to have that bit of the yurt deck built. The candy floss machine needs a bit of an upgrade 😂 Annie has been working with the Forest school this summer
Hi Bruce and family, I am thinking of moving to Ireland as the village where I live has had a lot of new people moving in and more houses being built ,there’s not the sense of community that there was, you got a job to get a good morning out of some of them😔 My question is how do you manage with health care in Ireland do you have to have health insurance like America, is there free health care for children 🤔. Is there council tax 🤔 are there any hidden costs you could make us aware of.
Hi Shaun. Health care isn’t free here. You have to pay €50 each time you go to the doctors. There is land property tax but it doesn’t include bins so you have to arrange that yourself or pay to use the local dump. So far we have only had to visit the doctors once and we don’t have health insurance. Things in general seem to cost a bit more and 2nd hand things hold their value more in my experience. All that being said if you plan to live similarly to us then you don’t spend too much anyway
@@OffGridBruce Thanks for your help Bruce, I assumed that children would have free health care until they were classed as adults and have their own income’s. I guess having to pay for a bin man on top of property tax would encourage people to recycle 🤔. I don’t understand why any country would want to rely on private health care, 🤔 putting their selves at the mercy of insurance companies, or private doctors who make money out of someone’s misery 😔. If everyone payed a bit ,there would only be a bit to pay. Spread the cost over society, and protect the vulnerable, the young and the old.
There’s nothing better than eating a meal that came completely from your garden. Not many people can claim that they’ve ever done that. We can 😉🥦🍏🥚🌽🧄🥔🍅🥬🥒
The girls are just loving the candy floss machine and I'm drooling for some
Needs a bit of tweaking to get it right
I love watching your successes❤️😊👍
