    Nice hike! Clingmans Dome is the highest point in the Smoky's with amazing views on a clear day. However, Mount LeConte is a lot better, and cooler hike for sure! And the Alum Cave route is the best IMO.

      Hi! Thanks for saying Hello and Subscribing if you've done so...Where are you from?

  • @ChristopherMarshburn
    @ChristopherMarshburn Год назад +5

    Mount LeConte is the third highest summit in the Smokies at 6,593 feet. Number 1 is Clingman’s Dome at 6,643 (also the highest on the entire AT) and Mount Guyot at 6,621. But LeConte is the most visually impressive, being separate from the main Appalachian ridge line.

  • @lisajarnigan2112
    @lisajarnigan2112 5 месяцев назад +1

    Alum Cave is truly a beauty! However, it is the easiest of the 6 routes to Mt LeConte, making it also the most crowded. Looks like you hit it at a good, less crowded time!
