Good one Greeny. Nice drone shots....nice water fall.... nice little village....n street food ....👍 Thailand got really good roads .... Car will be a good option to travel in Rainny season.
Hello Greeny. Been to Thailand 3 times so far, but only from January to April, and stayed in Bangkok, Pattaya, and Phuket. This trip is for the entire month of August so I will get some rain. I don't plan on going to CM, as I will base myself out of Pattaya or Bangkok and bounce around like you do from there. May reach out for some pointers on where to go.
Finally! Been waiting a while for Greeny to report on Chiang Mai lol. I heard the food up there is quite different from the rest of Thailand. Would love to see more.
You rarely see Northern food outside of the area nationwide, cow soi specialist shops excepted and there’s a reason for that......but if one is looking to live long term in Thailand, IMO, you can't beat the city, the region and it's people, just bring a packed lunch...........!!
Great video, Greeny. 👍 For me personally, Chiang Mai was good, but it didn't live up to the hype. I'm glad I went, but it's not somewhere that I plan on returning to.
WOW! The footage and drone shots might be the best that I have seen from you yet. Either you are getting better or Chiang Mai is looking fantastic? 😂. If you get the chance on the way up to Doi Inthanon, they boast the largest waterfall in Thailand. Nice clear video! Ride on!
I stayed in Chang mai for seven days I believe it was in October for seven days. It rained so hard that all I could do was grab an umbrella and go to a restaurant to eat and go back to the hotel so no the trip wasn’t worth it.
@@GreenyTravels I’ve been to Thailand several times over the years, but never in rainy season. I remember enjoying some good scotch with a couple friends on a Bangkok balcony while watching the rain cool things down. Thanks for providing great videos. They help with my questions as I inch closer to retirement.
You're livin the good life Greeny. I'm jealous and happy for you. Just a heads up, this is like the 3rd time I've had to go looking for you because RUclips unsubscribed me from your channel. Just wanted to let you know in case you wanted to ask them why. Probably would only get some bullshit answer, but you do put a lot of effort into your videos just to have them dismiss your followers. Keep it up, I enjoy the content and will keep trying to find you. Lol
Your Vids are better and better. Chiang Mai here now Hua Hin next week for a month. Love your sense of adventure man . Maybe see you around town. Love this Chiang Mai Charm. Hua hin can't wait again. Jomtien, best condo developments by a long shot😊 Cheers Greeny !
@@GreenyTravels I have a gf in bkk, but is a bit rocky now sadly & you know they don’t take rejection well. I’m thinking of moving to Hua Hin or maybe C Mai area ..
At least it is not so hot. Years ago Chiang Mai was the place to live. It is a break from pattaya and bangkok. I just read about howie mandel. That should be a nice police investigation. America. Keep up the happy wanderlust while it is enjoyable and thanks for the video. At first when I came to se asia I often ate satay and street food. I am not sure that they are good for your health, but they are cheap and tasty. You appear like you lost weight. Congrats!

Yea. My friends rode their bikes up there. I flew and rented one
I love Chiang Mai. I will be back there in October. Thanks for the video, Greeny 😊.
Appreciate it
I hope you had a sturdy stick for the soi dogs on those little paths !
My foot.
Chang Mai really looks beautiful. Laid back. We will be arriving In about 6 weeks , so excited ❤
Nice. Very cool place
My daughter has been in Chiang Mai for the last week. She loves it!
She may stay Alex. I tell you many come to Thailand and never want to leave.
@@GreenyTravels don’t think that hasn’t crossed my mind, Greeny.

Good place to visit. I wouldn’t make it my base either
cool video, Thanks Greeny. Central festival food court.... seriously.
Was no where near central festival. Just a little market on the side of the road about 10 kilometers from CM
@@GreenyTravels Didn't mean now. If you ae in the Chiangmai area. I was amazed how crispy pork an basil was.....lol

Great video with the drone Greeny! 😊 Looks like a good time. Take care bud. Enjoy your day.

I love it here now . Easier to get around no competition at restaurants
Last time I was in Thailand, it rained but it came and went. Never bothered me. Looks like you had a road trip with Chris
Yea. Met those guys up there. They drive motorbikes I flew

The thing I love about Thailand is 7:54 “You never know when you’re getting Food Poisoning”. 😂
That too 😆
THANK 🏝 YOU

Do the rains help keep the temperature in check or just make it more humid?
I think a little cooler

Beware of the fried chicken stalls in Thailand. I once got some where I was burping up oil for a day.
Some of that oil pretty old

I haven’t heard this issue. Weird. Sometimes subscriber count goes down. I will never figure out RUclips
Still looks like a good time Greeny ! Enjoy ...
Yea. Decent getaway
Love the low season because its less crowded. I hate crowds 😂😂
And people ask why I like Phu Quoc. They say it’s dead. I say exactly!! 😆
At least the Rainy Season in Chiang Mai isn’t the Burn Season. You can probably breathe better with the moisture in the air.
The air was good. 👍

It's a matter of smoke season, not high / low season, is what I understand from lots of youtube viewing.
Really bad there in burning season.

Chiang Mai, Pattaya or Phuket. Who has the best looking women.
Bangkok by far.

IMO, The South hands down....but not Phuket.....................
