I love this design! I have not started journaling. I've owned my journal for about 6 months so ridiculous that I have not started. I've been watching videos and trying to find a simple setup, but something I can feel has an artistic flair and color. The cherries and your color choices are perfect. The first day of June is tomorrow so I can complete my layouts today using your designs and begin journaling tomorrow. I love your voice and everything about your videos. Thank you! ❤️ I think most people struggle with perfectionism. I know I do. I've tried to accept less than my best in other artistic ventures, but I usually struggle with that, too. You are a talented artist so I understand that minimalism may not be your consistent style, but this particular video was perfect to help me get started. The cherries and flowers design would make such cute washi tape.
Thank you! ❤️ I've gotten a few comments before about making washi tape and I think it's a really cute idea, but unfortunately it takes a lot of time and effort and it's usually only worth it if you make a large amount of them because the manufacturing can be quite expensive 🙈
I just love how calming your videos are and I love this cherry theme a lot! Especially those tiny cherries in the corners are so cute.
I fully get what you're saying! I love finding inspiration online, but sometimes it can also block my own creativity. Whenever I try to 1 on 1 recreate someones spreads, I am never happy with it and feel like it's not as good. But when I take it just as inspiration and add whatever I like, it always turns out the way I like it, haha. So I guess that you should always follow your own creativity and style.

When you left a gap over the numbers I was genuinely expecting you to put in cherry stems (as if the dates were cherries, too). 🤔It's interesting that you don't consider this style minimalist. Compared to so many others (as you don't want to do) these simplistic little decorative touches would be. Haha. 😄
Ohh that's a cute idea, I might do that in my next weekly spread ☺️ I guess you're right, I mean I was definitely going for a more minimalistic style but of course there are still always more minimalistic spreads than mine 🤔 but it's very interesting to hear an outside perspective every now and then 🥰
