    I am always happy to see you drop a new video. I used them to build and maintain my first bike. Now,to use them to make a performance motor for my second bike. Thanks again!

    The style of vlogging video is a great idea and I liked the fact of riding trails with the electric bike is a bit quiet for a change

    Even before your music started,as you rode towards the' burn area' ,I was getting "Texas Chainsaw Massacre" vibes going in my head.Then you came up with the awesome eerie tune...(Glad you avoided 'Ballen Valley')What a great tour/ride.Thankx LA./BTW; I'll take good care of the Himiway,and use it until it's done,and redo it too.Thanx. ;)

    I enjoyed the video and the narration both. Thank you. Excuse me, do you have time and/or the desire to build an ms460 cylinder kit on a yd100 bottom end? I have watched all your minarelli build videos more than once. Thank you. I appreciate it.

    Nice ride footage and thoughts on your Cruiser. I'd be interested to see how the newer Himiway Zebra stacks up against the Velotric Nomad 1 as they are more comparable models. Note - I belive it's pronounced Himi-way vs. Himing-way.

    I don't know if it's true or not I've never ridden a Himiway, but I've heard the crusers aren't great on trails because they don't have good low end. I've heard the same about M2S bikes.

    Excuse me. I wonder why the California Department Of Forestry does not use controlled burns? We have some hellacious fires out here. Every summer the Fire Department or Coast Guard is flying airplanes overhead all day refilling with retardant, the fire fighters themselves are pushed to the brink of death and the neighborhood is filled with smoke and ash from far away fires.

  • @NicksBikes
    @NicksBikes Год назад +1

    If that was Down Under, it would literally be un-aliving yourself to ride towards the smoke. No exaggeration. You oughta check out Australian Bushfire ads, at least once 😬

    Try the Himiway Zebra, 750 watt 1000+ max output with a 20Ah Samsung/LG battery! Sometimes I don't feel like peddling. But hey, I'm 62 years old! occasionally I throw the senior citizen card!

  • @terryj257

    Do you think you could get a 2 stroke on that bike if you moved the battery?

    • @bassw1758
      @bassw1758 Год назад

      Not easily, but it can be done, you have to make engine brackets to offset the motor to clear the rear tire, then you're going to have to put a considerably bigger disc in the back to clear the engine sprocket. I've also seen it done with a jackshaft kit. It can be done but I don't know if it's worth it when you could put a 5000 w motor with a 72 volt battery and nothing would touch it.

    • @terryj257
      @terryj257 Год назад +1

      @@bassw1758 I was just thinking that you wouldn't have to pedal to start out and the acceleration with the electric assist would be nice. I am currently building a 4 stroke 49cc with a modified jackshaft kit for a 2 stroke along with 750w hub motor. It should go 35-40 and have a 100 mile range and if I bring a 2liter bottle of gas with, then 180 mile range.

    • @bassw1758
      @bassw1758 Год назад

      @@terryj257 lol, nice I have 1,000w Bafang I'm working on, trying to unlock, it does 29, witch is good for a tril bike but think it has more to give, but I've seen 750's do 37. I have a 49 on a Cranbrook with a G8 belt transmission nice and reliable, but a super tight fit pedal clears by a hair, jack shaft looks cool but can they be made reliable?

    I always scratch my head when I see people making videos about getting and fixing flats on fat tires. I've been riding them since 2017, have three bikes two electric and one non electric. Six years only one flat.(no tire liners, slime or any other gimmick)I always tell people those tires were never designed to be inflated past 15psi. Anything more than that the ride gets bumpy(don't think I've ever had a perfectly round pair regardless of $), no difference in rage or drag, or sidewall ware.(usually pretty solid around 13) All the older tires used to say 15psi max all the newer ones I have say 20. There are a couple of odd ball tires out that say more, but at that point you're begging for a flat tire.

      So far so good with mine. Gas bikes have, well, gas, which is highly flammable as well. I make sure to charge my battery outside, which isn't much of a hassle since I have a couple of outlets there. Just treat batteries with respect.
