I’ve played the Orochi saga of KOF, but I haven’t played the NESTS saga because until the Nintendo Switch, they didn’t have the games available (though I’m SUPER familiar with the final bosses’ theme songs from the saga lol). This definitely has a “KOF 2002” AST feel to it, and the opening synth part with the ep gives me vibes that remind me of KMFDM, like the song “Megalomaniac”.
Oh! And also… I took time to listen to your Walk Through the Fire EP, and I see what you mean by it “having all of you” in it!🔥 I seriously appreciate the range of genres that you write for too. You’ve got expressive range all the way from like a jazzy theatre vibe to ballads to rock to synths, and you’ve got good orchestration and mixing skills! By far, my favorite track of the EP is “Mask” because from personal experience, I know how it feels to pretend being someone else for short-term “benefit”, while deep down being unhappy and unfulfilled. (Though I’m happy to say that I presently do far less of that.)
@@nevvawinter7331 I can feel you because most of the tracks in the NESTS Saga have this """Dance"""-like atmosphere. I've also just listened to "Megalomaniac" and this just confirms what I said. In general, NESTS Saga focus itself on a more futuristic aspect although Igniz is a sort of witcher with cosmokynesis. I can also understand why the intro reminds you of "Megalomaniac" because it's a matter of sounds and sequencer. If you know the original theme song of Team NESTS, you can hear that family of sequencers too. And now that I think of it... just in KOF 2002 UM they added a more "Metal"-like aspect to the BGMs, in regards of the whole NESTS Saga I mean. With that being said I hope you enjoy this Metal remake of mine. ❤❤🙏🏻🙏🏻 It's been a huge dare to remake the BGM in the style of Dream Theater due to their complexity of style and arrangement, so the risk of error was high hahahah! 😂😅 ... About what you told me in regards of "Walk Through The Fire", I'm really happy that you liked the whole EP and I can feel you about the empathy you percieved in Mask. Many of us aren't true with themselves and the result is a creepy Carnival... but in reality. The whole EP goes around my thoughts ("Mask", "Fate" and "Cruel Lights") and my personal experiences (from "Living In The Night" to "Walk Through The Fire"). About instrumentals, my favourite genre is Metal of course and I really like when there's orchestration because it adds a lot to the base arrangement! About jazz and electronic stuff, I also like to experiment when I feel it proper to the song itself. It's all a matter of personal feelings. I'm really happy you liked it! ❤❤🙏🏻🙏🏻
