Introducing Yourself - How to Introduce Yourself In English

What's the first thing you need to do when you meet someone new? Introduce yourself of course! You need to tell your new acquaintance your name in English and maybe some more information about you in English.

Yes it's a common phrase and it's used in all types of conversations. 'To hail from' is used to convey what city you are from.

why is this considered a good video? you are explaining the very first, most elemental concept here, and you are doing it so that nobody listening at that level can understand you....i mean, u have to assume they can't say "hi my name is" right? or why are you teaching them about that? And if they don't have that under their belt, that means they can't understand a thing you're saying! Teach to the ability level of your students.
