Hello, I'm trying to figure out how much to add to shirt where the split seam will begin. If my seam allowance is 1/4", do I add 1/4" more to that area? As I will need to bring it back on itself and stitch it down...

Flat Shaped Brim Visor for Standard Baseball Caps is available at sewing supply stores. Or you can to use the insert visor that ids in old cap.
