I just got this phone and I love it,love the fact that you are allowed to use a pen but i would lose it if i buy one. LG should make a case that allows you to store the pen like the note

Just got a V40, but the V60 is the front-runner for my next phone.
TK thanks for this review, it looks like a real multi tasking power house with the dual screen and I love the pen input. Have you tried it in desktop mode? Maybe with the NexDock. I've seen a video where there were problems with no audio 8n desktop computer.
I'm not sure what you say about the American versions can be used for other markets is true. I've looked at the bands and they are not good for at least Australia. Australia generally releases the Asian model of V phones. You mentioned an unlocking code, but the Verizon and T-mobile have different 5G modems, their difference is hardware based. If they are different to each other in the US, how would they fare universally across the world? If I thought I could use a US model I would have done so already.
LG Australia responded to me that they have no current plans for releasing the V60. If LG is not dropping the V series, I have a feeling they may release a different V phone late in the year internationally. But I want the V60 now! My V20 is finally getting a bit too slow.

Thanks TK! I really don't get it - since g7 lg is gone from my market (Serbia - I understand we are small market) - but v series never was available here! Even across the other European countries - why Lg want make his phone available to broader audience - it's neat package! And their marketing - it's either focused on wrong parts of the phone (cough..g8 Jedi tricks...) or none-existent! Still I can enjoy videos from you, Huan and few RUclipsrs about lg devices from rational, professional and great perspective! Much appreciated coverage! Stay safe! 👍

I love the v60! Im with Verizon. So you have to send off or the dual screen case get approval. The wait 3 to 8 weeks to get the dual screen case. So I haven't been able to use the dual screen yet but cant wait. Yes the waiting sucks

@@sifu192ppod I contacted the email address that is at the bottom of the approval tetter. And asked for an update. And got it two weeks after that. I did that cause. Thats what a lot of other people did that had received there's. And it worked for me also. Just ask for an update.

How did you get the white one with the dual screen ?
Please compare the use of the stylus to the Note 10 plus and the screen size to the Galaxy Fold. Why doesn't LG put the the two screens closer? And all the buttons to the right side (isn't it a problem)? Is it possible to LG put an Face unlock on the V60 by software update? Can Any other app do that? Thanks!

how does the battery work with the dual scree? is the second screen running off the primary phones battery?? are they both charged when you charge through the case??? so do I have to charge two different phones now???
Im waiting on a big sale on them since no one is buying any of them.
Verizon has a BOGO I think right now maybe still fathers day thing. My GF and I just got two V60's but we paid $950 for one / 2 = $475 each bundled with a screen protector, case, screen cleaning kit and 12V car adapter that ALL came with it. We have to wait 3 to 6 weeks for the extra displays though. So we got hooked up for basically $500.00 each, just a steal with free accessories. They work very well for what we need and this is way beyond basics so we are thrilled. We are both semi-truck drivers and this will handle what we have to put threw it.
This is my favorite smart phone ever. It has such versatility!
It has a audio jack and I put a 512GB SD card in it for shooting videos.
Face unlock is highly overrated, and it does not work during Covid. That alone makes this the best phone of 2020. And I love the LG UI!
I don't use the Dual screen all the time. But when I am.multi tasking having that is fantastic!!!
I use both Gboard and the Native LG keyboard. In dual screen mode I use the LG keyboard. Otherwise I use Gboard which is my favorite. Abd I can easily switch between the two as I have a keyboard swap icon in my control bar next to the 3 main control buttons.
I'm definitely going to get it.

Thanks for the video TK and for showing its different, useful features. I would like to know if the stylus can select and copy text off pages that normally wont let you select text, or if the LG Stylus software supports it eg. Instagram. That's a big one; most spen users use that feature almost every day - either by clicking the spen button and selecting the text, or by clicking "smart select-->extract text-->copy text"..
I researched for a week about this phone. Not ANYWHERE or no reviews mention you only get one screen! Just got it today. Soo pissed🤬
my hubby just got this phone it's a great phone and everything but the only problem is were not able to upgrade Google Chrome and the security is giving him a message to fix the problem by updating the google chrome because his phone is vulnerable but it's not allowing us to. Plus since the app is pre-installed we can't uninstall we can only disable but even when you disable it, it still gives us a message in the security. We read some of the comments for the app and a lot of people in the comments are saying there's a problem with the app. Is anyone else having an issue with updating Google Chrome on this phone?
My case doesn't turn on. But I haven't used it every since I got it from my provider

im confused about shooting in 60fps... isnt there a rule that says shooting single take style dialogue shots in 60fps makes the framing and motion of the talking look out of sync and trash like?... So why is there such a stress from youtubers hyping up 60fps for vlogging.
4K30 looks, and i think even renders a lot better too; but the stabilization optimization features are only usually activated on a lower frame rate and/or FHD

Gonna buy this at the end of the year.. the phone will be available for purchase on early June in my place but I'll wait until the price goes down (since nobody buys LG here I guess)
Connect a bluetooth audio source and get some notifications. Bring the notifications down in landscape view, the UI icons are so bad you cant read any notifications :\
You can pinch and expand on the second screen to hide the apps. Pinch the screen to show apps

The problem is that it will lose the appeal and the release buzz before they start (if they will) selling it elsewhere or unlocked online. Mobile phone markets move fast, since the release OnePlus has already released a new phone in the same price bracket for example.
I'm not going to pretend I know about marketing or logistics for such a device, but even if they did want to play ball with carriers in the US it boggles mind why they wouldn't just drop it on Amazon or stores like carphone warehouse here in the UK for the rest of the world.
They obviously have the logistics network spanning across the world for their other devices.
I grabbed the V60 when it first launched for TMobile and got a defected dual screen =0( Kept sizzling in and out when I would open the phone to where it eventually stayed looking scrambled. I would close it, re-open it, but kept getting worse. Obviously ended up returning it, but now I'm super reluctant to get another one ::crying faaaaaaaaace::

I just got a V60 on Friday & absolutely love it. Price point is lower than the other flagship phones and both the audio & video quality are astounding.
Idk about the other carriers but Verizon gives you a link to get the Dual Screen Case sent to you for free by LG. It's available until January for anyone interested. Can't wait to check that out as well.
Have any of you had an issue with the speakerphone?
My wife and I both have had issues with the speakerphone on this phone. It randomly mutes the mic while on speakerphone. Neither LG or TMobile had a solution for this problem. TMobile swapped ours out a few weeks ago and the problem eventually started all over again. So frustrated!
@@dh7183 yeah I had that same issue with 2 of the phones as well. I took it back and got a One Plus 7T Pro McLaren. 1st one plus phone and I LOVE it.
