Dr. Sylvia Earle Introduces the Canyon of Caprera Hope Spot

Mission Blue has recognized Canyon of Caprera as a Hope Spot in support of elevating its protection status from an Area of Interest to an Important Marine Mammal Area, to eventually a marine protected area. One Ocean Foundation with support from its partners, including ROLEX, have contributed significant data from eDNA, acoustic monitoring and visual surveys over the last five years that have developed our understanding of the marine biodiversity in the Hope Spot.
