PBT Circuit Training for male dancers | Core and Adage

  • This adage and core circuit will assist dancers to gain strength and sculpture their body. Elite dancers will improve control in their adage with a strongly engaged core. This sequence will assist girls as well but without wrist weights (Wrist weights are used only in the male training).

    PBT Exercises mentioned in the video:
    1. Abdominal and Roll Over - activates the total transverse abdominis that is required to excel in dance.
    2 Core with Oblique Extension - activates the transverse abdominis and internal and external obliques as well as a defined ronds de jambe activation.
    3. Bosu and Adage - enhances the weight-placement and activates the deep hamstring which will enhance adage movements.
    4. Arabesque Extension - enhances the line in arabesques as the body is elongated through both sides of the body.
    5. À La Seconde extension - A student's à la seconde will be enhanced by practicing this valuable exercise. The alignment of ecatré will be clearly defined if practiced with diligence.
