The detail . The scale . Newspapers , letters in the door mail slot , front door hinges , the wands you constructed ( my favorite ) , great music . . .Should make a longer companion video . Great job Karyn . Hope you two have a great week !
So have you measured the shop to see if it would be possible to place somewhere on the railroad (inside of course)? I think that would be an interesting addition.
She’s doing a whole bunch of Hogwarts dioramas, and she has a lovely place for them in the living room!! but she also has some wonderful structures for the railroad😊😊
No… They are not really meant for a railroad layout… More like a jewelry box… something for a whatnot shelf.. Still fun to build and I have given some as gifts to family!
The fun of Harry Potter (And to an extent Thomas the Tank Engine too) is the ease of getting certain types of UK equipment in the US. The Hogwarts Express is essentially just a Hall Class locomotive that can be repainted a different livery, and there is a small but dedicated following to taking Bachmann's lineup of narrow gauge HOn30 equipment and de-Thomas'ing them as 009 equipment is rather hard to get here in the US.
I love 009. HOn30. I had about 12 feet on that on my old HO layout. I still have all the equipment. Shay. A few fun things. We have a video up on that.
When are we going to see a video of the building of the DeAgostini 1:8 scale Ford GT? We have been waiting for well over a year now. Did you ever get all the parts to build it?
Hum… that’s a huge subject. Not just for us. But for all people. Especially model railroaders. Is it moral and ethical to simply leave a huge model railroad for your children or spouse to have to deal with? Steve’s decision was to dismantle his railroad, and turn the whole thing into dioramas and sell and give away all of the parts. He’s still doing that in fact. Jim Harper was able to sell his entire railroad to someone who’s moving at 1000 miles away and intends to set it up and operate it. The sad reality is most of these things end up in the dumpster. So many of the great railroaders are aging out or dying, this is happening on a daily basis, subjective a video I’d really like to make.
LOL! Old?? To be honest, I am happy that I have made it this far! My son-in-law was not as fortunate. Pancreatic cancer took him from us, and he was only 40. I don’t know of a soul who doesn’t accumulate a lot of “stuff” over the course of their lives. Estate planning is not just for the “old”. Every adult, regardless of age, should plan what will happen once they are no longer around. As for Dale and I… Let’s just say that those steps have been taken. How about yourself? Now… I don’t know about you… But I am going to have some more fun with my hobbies!
Just amazing to me how two of the most creative and resourceful artists found each other! Great job Karyn.

Wonderful. I enjoyed this. Maybe time to change the name from Toy Man Television to Toy Couple Television........

@@devilscoachman79 well no… long story. But all we have are the first 20 “magazines “. Still love to finish that.
Very nice, would these work for g scale
No.. Not really. They are really more like an ornament…
This is Amazing, but you 2 are old now! Do you have children to carry on with what you 2 have done with Garage-ma-hall?!
