I drive a Tesla for rideshare full time. Having access to Premium/Comfort/Premier for 20-50 dollar rides makes up for the extra cost while saving on gas and maintenance. Tesla does phenomenal in city driving. This is me coming from a Kia Nero at 54mpgs.
Is there a reason why? The Toyota Prius was and still is one of the most popular vehicles used by taxi cabs and fleets. It makes perfect sense as to why many rideshare and delivery drivers choose the Prius. Not to mention GAS MILEAGE.
I would go with a camera hybrid you would get Uber comfort and still get over 50 miles per gallon I'm upgrading or downgrading I should say from the Sienna since I found out Uber XLe really not worth it in Fort Myers
Best car for uber or lift, is the 2021 Sienna LE hybrid. 36 mpg, 8 passenger car, you can Drop the 2 and 3 row and get a great cargo van in case you need it. You can do uber xl , uber x, etc etc, all of this for 34 to 35000 dollars
As an Uber driver, there is no way you can justify spending 35000 in a vehicle for uber. My rule of thumb is whatever you make in a month , that's what you spent. Got a 2007 corolla 138K for $3500 still driving perfect with 284K

@@marguisil the other problema is that every two years you will need to replace that corolla with so high mileage, and the money that you will spend in mechanic will be insane, and still you will not make more money than the guy with the Sienna. Hi, thanks for the video. Do you think it's economical to buy a Mazda Cx3 for part-time Uber driving? how would you compare it to the likes of the Toyota Camry and Toyota Corolla?
I drive Uber in a tesla model 3 you may get 50 miles to the gallon but I get 340 mile per charge. And at a tesla super charging station it take about 20 minutes to charge up. 1 to 340 miles fill up is about $14 so much much cheaper then gas. As for other for the car itself. it's considered a luxury car. There is a screen on both front and rear seats. The screens are connected to the tesla internet, has my Spotify Netflix and Hulu. So if my riders wanted to watch a movie or listen to music they have easy access to it. I can connect to uber with screen in the front for easy use. And then there is full self driving. I don't really have to drive I can just sit back and and turn on Netflix and the car will drive itself. It will prompt me to put my hands on the wheel every few minutes tho. Or get deeper into conversations resulting in bigger tips. Or say I'm driving late at night and I start to doze off again the car drives itself and it will prompt to put my hands on the wheel waking me up.
