This is one of my favorite Final fantasy game because of it's characters and how much you grow to love them to the point you don't care about the flaws of the story
Flaws or not, I’ve played this game over a few times now, and watching this reaction video just made me bawl. I can not not cry at the ending. It’s so damn emotional and it will never change. First or 500th play through, it will always hit a chord with me that is so damn deep. They did such an amazing job with the world and the characters (the voice actors especially) that you literally fall in love and feel like you’re on the journey with the boys. You become so invested in their friendship and it’s like watching a loved one take a bullet for you knowing it’s coming. It’s crazy to think a game is capable of eliciting such raw and powerful emotions, but it does. That’s why despite any flaws, FFXV will always be my favorite. ❤
I. Bawled my eyes out at the end. I agree with you fully. These characters were my friends. We all journeyed together. I have three brothers, so it hit pretty hard. But although the game wasn’t perfect. It hit so hard and well in the end. Loved it.

I'm grateful I found your channel and am getting to enjoy your journey through some of my favorite and most emotionally impactful games. This game and kingdom hearts 3 hold special places for me. And right now I find myself in the position of needing to be reminded of what they speak about. Recently my closest friend for the past 10 years ghosted me without warning. He was like my brother and I loved him dearly. I was closer to him than anyone else. I could tell him anything. Often he would call me and we would just sit quietly on te phone and just enjoy the company. My grieving process through all of this has been incredibly difficult but I have found your channel at a time when I need the reminders of the importance of friendship. Your commentary for both has been very cathartic for me. Helping me process and let go of the pain and anger I'm dealing with. I just want to say thank you for that.
I've gotten chucked into your streams from Leigh's and I'm glad! Your content is great and I hope you continue to be this invested in games. Looking forward to more. :)
I think Aranea is basically what they initially planned Lightning to be like in FFXIII before they made Fang. Like they stated during production that Lightning would be flirty but still have the dark personality, and that’s basically Aranea. They even look alike. I just fucking love all FF women
I played this since 2015, It still have a place in my heart, so I came and search for the reaction then I found you, your play through is so emotional, I am glad that many gamer like you give this game a shot even many people said FFXV is unworthy to play tho… FfXV is my top 3 FF game in all time, thank you for reacting, you guys are the best!
It took me 4 long years to beat but i have beaten the game about 4 or 5 years ago but i too cryed at the ending and i was like no you can't do this to me. I do love playing the game
It's really hard to put such a long and intense experience in a single video like this, to include all the highlights and I wish You've included more story cutscenes in here because the way it develops is really amazing. Yet this video is still probably the most accurate representation of what this game is, deffinitely my favorite on RUclips. You grow with these characters, you learn about them, you care about them, you hate some others, so many different emotions going on and at the end it all stays with you. What a wonderful journey! Not gonna lie, in some parts I got even more emotional than you and I was a 28 year old dude when I was playing it (2 years ago)😅 Like the farewell of Luna cutscene.. my god, I haven't seen anything like it before and ever since...🥺 The ending.. I literally know the entire monologue of Noct sitting on his throne, I've watched it so many times after beating it myself... Thank You for that video!❤
The game obviously has some developmental issues but the themes and emotions that the game evokes are really special even though its faults. You really care for their friendship and what happens to them. Its just a shame that we never got the full experience
I think the royal edition is fixed most of it's issues, except one thing that was needed, more Luna, but besides that, the royal edition being the "complete" game, it's great
@@Ricky-mb8sy Exactly. And SE should add more content to the base game, more scenes from Luna, Regis, Ravus, the imperial side. In short, the story is complete, it only lacks clarity in certain things and not need a rewrite of the ending that is hostile towards the central themes of the game (DotF).
Such a wonderful game! I know...many diehard fans of the FF series hate this game, but I don't know why. I enjoyed the game and the realationship between the guys so much...for me this game was an unforgettable experience.
u realy dont know why? i mean square realese a incomplete game, and make we pay for the rest... its good game but lack of content for a Final Fantasy game.
FFXV didn't deserve all the hate it got. All the mega-fanboys could see were the developmental issues and everything SE changed/had to take out. The whole friendship theme was awesome and one of my favorite things about the game, and I really hope we get more XV content again someday, somehow 😢
I just finished the game tonight. I had made it to Hammerhead two weeks ago but knew that i was about to be done and wasn't ready to finish. Two weeks of mentally preparing to finish this still didn't prepare me. I cried like a baby. You said it, these guys are my friends and I wish this never ended.
Before playing FFXV, I played 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 12 and 13 through out my childhood and adolescent years (I'm 27 rn), but NEVER finished any of them, even though I got extremely far into those games. FFXV was the very first entry I ever finished and it absolutely destroyed me in ways a video games has never done before, loved every second spent (despite its flaws, cuz oh boy does the game have a lot). I just can't help but think what this game could have been had its story been better delivered. Played the DLCs, watched the extended content and made me love the game even more. And right after finishing the game and because of the pandemic (had more time at home) I finally completed the other games I mentioned earlier (haven't tried the other entries) and yes, it surprised me how close I was from finishing those games, also played the recent FF7 Remake, loved it! Not sure right now, but I think this is my favorite FF game (probably cuz it was the very first entry I ever finished, so it holds a special place). Can't wait for FFXVI, I'm so excited!
I stumbled into your video yesterday and finished watching it today (I was playing as Sora in Smash), and I had the same exact reaction as you did at the end sequence, although if you played the game more recently, your gameplay experience was different than mine that played this on release. The connection that we make with the characters, their struggles, ther joy, their sadness... we feel it, we feel everything. The world building was really well done, Character development was on the spot, the interactions in between Noctis, Gladios, Ignis and Prompto are the best thing in the game by far. I had some problems with the pacing of the game, and since I was much more eager to explore the whole world map as soon as possible instead of advancing the plot, it wasn't to much of a problem. I'm forever cursing whoever released this game earlier than it should, Final Fantasy 15 is one of my favorite games, even with its problems.
SORA IS SO FUN!!!! I was playing last night as well. I wish this game didn't go through development hell but I still love it despite it's flaws. The characters are very memorable and real to me. Thanks for watching!
I played this game when it first came out and I thought it was beautiful as it was but then they expanded the story more and I was so glad it did so it can give more people a chance to play this game. Defintely a lot of tear jerker moments and this game holds a special place in my heart as my late older brother bought me this game and will forever cherish this game.
FF XV is my favorite entry in the series despite its flaws, I just love how organic, believable and more importantly, likeable, the characters were in this game. And the bittersweet ending really made you look back and appreciate the laidback time you got to spend with your friends before everything got serious. It was a story of a bratty Prince maturing into a King worthy of respect. I'd highly recommend you check out Persona 5 Royal if you haven't played that game already, I think it'd be right up your alley as it also puts a huge emphasis of character relationships and the payoff at the end is just as good as FF XV's.
I've always been interested in xv but haven't gotten around to it yet. From what I can tell it's vibe of bonding with those closest to you and doing anything and everything to protect them really resonates with me! Also that ending was something else, and totally go the wheels turning on connecting its ending to another game ending/beginning?? This is definitely going on the must play list and now I have some fuel to fill up a notebook or two of theories! Thank you for sharing your experience with game Violet! And you walk tall too my friend!
If you ever have the time I recommend giving this game a chance. It's beautiful and heart warming and gut wrenching. I think you would find the experience worth it.
This game was my first final fantasy, it opened the doors to great final fantasy games. I haven’t played it since 2021 because if I do, I will immediately break down. But here I am torturing myself to a gameplay. Thank you. 41:53 my literal face. (I love my prompto, seeing him cry broke me.) 42:22 I broke down.
Definitely had some more fleshing out to do, but this is the most underrated ff ever. None of them have ever made me this emotionally invested, and I LOVED every person in ffx, 8, 7, 9, 12, 13 and 14

You don't. :,,)
I started playing this game since October 31 2021 and I'm still chapter 4 with lvl51. This is the game I really want to Play. I know I'm late to play it but I'm still happy to play my favorite game that I've been looking forward to for a long time. because I don't have a console or pc that can be used to play games before
Oh Mai gud, the nostalgia trip I just had, this game is so special to me, I played it before the DLC and for me was really good, yeah I noticed some rushed things, but never bothered me cuz I was more interested in the boy band and their journey xD, I instantly connected with them, and I loved the Photographs mecanic, I'd just ride around to stop at random places to take pictures xD and Noctis became my 2nd fav FF protagonist (the 1st place will be always Zack lol)
I’m sure it has been said in the comments before, but this is the significantly improved version of the game. At release the narrative was all over the place. It was a shitstorm of nonlinear nonsense you had to sit down and piece together yourself from tiny nuggets of information. Then suddenly you get to nif and Ardyn gives you a vast majority of the narrative while you make your way through a VERY slow and tedious area that feels like a resident evil game. That chapter used to be like three times as long. Then after all the big reveals we find out we only had about 75% of the story figured out. We absolutely needed all of the dlc content to get the rest of the story, and that really made a significant difference. In this royal edition we got an absolute crap ton of new story and massive improvements to the narrative so it made much more sense. It’s almost a different game entirely. That said, I absolutely adore this game because it was so damned dark. It was a truly unique final fantasy experience that didn’t have a real happy ending; it’s bittersweet at best. This world is a horrendously cruel place with gods that can shove it. This story is the epitome of tragedy and I love the anguish it made me feel. As much as I crave a happy ending this story would not give us one. It made for a truly once in a lifetime experience and this game is phenomenal for doing that in the ways it did. Every time I see this ending I sob like a baby and vow to never experience that pain again, but I keep coming back to watch others witness that same pain lol the only thing I truly hate about this game is all of the canceled dlc they had planned and how they decided to put it in a book instead.
Tbh, FFXV’s story isn’t its strongest suit but the bond of Noctis and his friends. Imo, out of all the groups in FF franchise. Noctis and his friends has the best and most organic friendship ever. It just feels so real. Sure, it has flaws but the roadtrip with the bros and the ending was beautifully done.
If you haven't already, need to get the episodes for the choco-bros and ardyn and the commrades to get a little more backstory/sidestory I'm right with ya, i bawled the first time. Still waterworks after my third playthrough on the way to platinum trophies

I've gotten chucked into your streams from Leigh's and I'm glad! Your content is great and I hope you continue to be this invested in games. Looking forward to more. :)
Welcome! Thank you so much for saying that.
They really do you dirty with the ending sadness lol. It’s 4 sad scenes one right after the other. Definitely got me when I first played it.
So awesome to see your playthrough of this game! I love your work V, so much fun.
Thank you so much for watching!
I just completed the game last night and I was like you. Completely broke down and ugly crying.
Same reaction....I was crying...crying about the friends, I'd never had
Loved this trip with you. I cried with you all the way. Now time to watch the KHs Reactions!
I started playing it once again last week and I cried like a baby at the starting scene with Stand By Me.
So many feels
Would love if we someday got the Luna and Aranea DLCs.
Omfggggg the ADVENTURES you’re going to go on with your bois ima cry all over again
Love your streams this game was my fav It still is I hope that you have a safe 2021 Love to see more in the future
Love this game. The car dying was sadder then Luna to me, for some reason.
Yeah. The Regalia was there with us through thick and thin and was practically one of the bros.
I only came across your channel like yesterday, and I saw you did this game and I knew it was going to be a fun ride watching you play
Video games am I right bring out the emotions in all of us
I stumbled into your video yesterday and finished watching it today (I was playing as Sora in Smash), and I had the same exact reaction as you did at the end sequence, although if you played the game more recently, your gameplay experience was different than mine that played this on release.
I remember when I started playing and they started bantering. I was SO on board with the banter.
That end credit scene around the fire and the Luna scene get me *EVERY* *TIME!*
5:03 WAIT WHAT?!?! I played this game like three times fully and I never knew I could get a massage lol
Your reactions to the different scenes are to fucking precious, for once youtube algorithm does a good job.
FFXV was my first final fantasy and i loved, like you i cried so much with the end.
This game was my first final fantasy, it opened the doors to great final fantasy games. I haven’t played it since 2021 because if I do, I will immediately break down. But here I am torturing myself to a gameplay. Thank you.
41:53 my literal face. (I love my prompto, seeing him cry broke me.)
42:22 I broke down.
Definitely had some more fleshing out to do, but this is the most underrated ff ever. None of them have ever made me this emotionally invested, and I LOVED every person in ffx, 8, 7, 9, 12, 13 and 14
i didnt lie, i really cried the part where you have to choose one of the photos to take with you. That moment really shattered my heart.
Great stream. I love this game too. I just wish Square had finished it as there were 3 more dlcs planned. Hopefully this game gets a remake someday as there was potential for this game to be out of this world!
I hope we get the Luna and Aranea DLCs someday!
I cried too. And I’m crying right now.. that’s when you know it was a good game.
The ending with the title always gets me.... I know we didnt see that much of the ship but i really like Noctis and Luna together...
After 13 i was kind of worried about where the franchise was going but i was just blown away by 15
Oh god no - you going on about how much you already loved Noct at the beginning hurt so bad knowing how it all ends...!! Nevertheless thanks for posting your journey here - it was so much fun to relive this endearing game again with you, despite making me cry once again at the ending :,)
Oh, and how do you recover from this?
You don't. :,,)
You really never recover. 😭 Thanks for watching.
I started playing this game since October 31 2021 and I'm still chapter 4 with lvl51. This is the game I really want to Play. I know I'm late to play it but I'm still happy to play my favorite game that I've been looking forward to for a long time. because I don't have a console or pc that can be used to play games before
Fuck why did I do this to myself and watch
FFXV put me in tears literally every time after the kingdom of insomnia fell
Oh Mai gud, the nostalgia trip I just had, this game is so special to me, I played it before the DLC and for me was really good, yeah I noticed some rushed things, but never bothered me cuz I was more interested in the boy band and their journey xD, I instantly connected with them, and I loved the Photographs mecanic, I'd just ride around to stop at random places to take pictures xD and Noctis became my 2nd fav FF protagonist (the 1st place will be always Zack lol)
Zack and Noctis are my top two protagonists as well 😭😭😭
@@PermanentViolet omg yess!! , both are so precious, love them so much 😭💕 why wholesome characters must suffer whyy!? 😭
It's just a game people say, and yet here I am crying for character that don't even exist but feel a conection with.
I love FF15 so much and all the boys are great and wonderful
The intro to this game is so wholesome it makes the rest of this game HURT
Genuinely one of the best endings in video games
this bring my memory back then when i played this game on 2018😭
now i wanted to newgame+
Yea, I cried like a baby
The photo feature is genius, it's like reliving the game in your head. Whoever thought about that, needs a raise.
Oof! This video gave me all those emotions all over again. The boy band is seriously so good.
Honestly I loved ff15 and it gave more and more over the years it wasn’t perfect no game is but when it hits it hits
Not even 5 minutes in and already this video is too fun 😊
Goth squad, roll out
You guys are the best .😭😭
If you haven't already, need to get the episodes for the choco-bros and ardyn and the commrades to get a little more backstory/sidestory
I'm right with ya, i bawled the first time. Still waterworks after my third playthrough on the way to platinum trophies
I totally need to replay this game! I love them and Luna and Arenea
