On that rage of ultron encounter card you use grasping tendrils to cancel the attack. Ultron still creates a drone because of the forced interrupt the tendrils is only an interrupt so it comes 2nd in the priority order.

I've been engaged with Marvel Champions for some weeks,as i bought the Core Set and some expansions in the process....Played true solo,coop and two hand solo. I mostly enjoyed two hand solo (maybe cause got excited with my first win 😅) but it took 2 hours against normal Klaw and it is too much for a game. Keep up the good work, the videos help me learn the game while i like your relaxing voice 😀🎉

I’ve never actually played it, but just from understanding how the game works, I totally think it’s probably “the best way” to play the game. I don’t mind the trade off of having to only worry about one hero and a shorter game though. Which heroes do you like so far?
@@marvelchampionsxp Black Panther gave me a nice game with his strong overall stats. Captain Marvel too with her bursts of damage. Next i gonna try the Mutant Genesis expansion, any general views on it? :)
@@ELHeyoka I LOVE the mutant Genesis expansion! The first fight, sabertooth, is a WALL. Don’t be surprised if he beats you (bad) a few times. If you can make him not activate with stuns and confused, that’ll help A LOT. The two sentinel fights are really fun and offer a fair difficulty curve. The brotherhood fight can be swingy depending on which villains come out, and Magneto is a very tough, but very fair fight. Any of the fights that have the mystique modular can be difficult, she’s ROUGH. I think it has a really good balance of difficulty and is overall really good. As for the heroes, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE KITTY. I think she’s really unique, she requires you to think a turn a head and you really benefit from it. I was most looking forward to colossus, but he was a bit lackluster for me. I think he can be good multiplayer, but he can be tough true solo. Sorry for the wall-o-text =D

Sorry I’m kinda new to Marvel Champions. Is there a reason why you didn’t mulligan at the beginning ? Love your videos. Edit: Doesn’t venoms pistol say you get one plus for any basic power ? If so you could have removed a lot more threat.
Don’t be sorry! Everyone is new at some point. I just check the video, it looks like my hand was really good and I didn’t want to get rid of any of those cards. I TRY to not mulligan if I don’t have to. It’s just my play style. I prefer to try to delay decking out as long as possible to avoid getting the extra encounter card. Oh yea you’re totally right about the threat! It’s always the little things that get passed me, and he’s my favorite hero! Ha. Thanks so much! Love (Agent)Venom, he's more or less tied with Iron Man for my favorite hero. I have a mild concern/fear however that his numbers don't scale too well into multiplayer but 🤷♂️. Only tip I have is to try to keep track of what you've seen from the encounter deck. That'll help you determine if it's safe to flip down to Alter-Ego, and I don't mean everything but keeping track of the amount of advances you've seen, have you shadows, stuff like that.
Iron man is your favorite hero? NICE! He’s one that for whatever reason I can not get to click with me, but that’s awesome. If you’re talking about venom not scaling well, I think you’re right. I played with with one of my buddies, and he was really good, but when we did a 4 player game it felt like I was relegated to minion and threat duty while everyone else was pulling massive damage. Yeah, I’ve def been trying to get better at keeping track of at minimum how many advances I’ve seen. I’ve lost too many games to that card…
@@marvelchampionsxp Yeah that's been my experience with Venom as well. He's great at dealing with threat. But I played with a Gambit and Captain Marvel recently who drastically outpaced my damage with Venom maybe it's a "problem" with Justice, I don't know.

I think he’s a great solo hero because he can do just about everything really well, and doesn’t have to worry about any of the scaling factors like you mentioned.
I don't think watching a defeat would be boring. If anything, one can learn more from a loss than a win, allowing for some retrospective on what could have been done differently. Or just affirm that sometimes this game will kick you hard between the legs, and that's ok!
Hahaha you’re not wrong! In some of my recent matches, which won’t be up for a bit sadly, I actually started editing in the ends of losses. It’s pretty funny hahah
Just as a note: when you defended with Groot, it couldn’t defend against the attack of the drone because those are two separate attacks. So you’d have taken one damage.
@@marvelchampionsxp Brother it has been a long time. We got to figure out a way to stay in contact. And I can't wait. I just played stock rocket raccoon and groot, and it went okay. Rocket seems like he doesn't truly fit into aggression. Groot seems like a cap clone
@@anthonypoguestockton9170 Yes man, i totally agree! Yeah, I seem to be an outlier, but I personally don’t like Rocket that much. And Groot is “Fine”. Neither are anything spectacular in my opinion. There are exceptions, I’ve seen my friends use them really well, but I’ve never been too successful with either

If you use venoms pistol you have +1 for basic power why use multi-gun and 1 thw venom for take off 3 schemes?!
