Ultron was basically a programming error. Tony meant to "protect humanity" but he actually coded "protect the Earth." Protecting the Earth doesn't necessarily mean saving us.
this is kind of like Gaia in the Type Moon universe; Gaia being the spirit of the Earth while Alyia is the Consciousness of Humanity. Gaia doesn't care about Humanity continuing and Aliya couldn't give a darn about the Earth's safety. Oh good lord, the Avengers are part of the Counter Force
the main reason i heard was because Ultron was too silly. People liked the feel of phase one, but started noticing it becoming less heavy in tone. So when Ultron, a threat that was supposed the be this killing machine, appears and is mostly cracking jokes, they felt Marvel was just not taking the source material and their movies seriously anymore.
@@Elipson52008 fair and reasonable, but I liked it cause it made him like human but less morality. I also liked how preachy he was, it was scary in a way
Maybe people are expecting the movies to follow the comics too much. Ultron in the comics was a much drier personality but that was because he was originally a product of Henry Pym and was a true A.I.....in the movies he is basically a conglomerate of Jarvis and Tony Stark and so he of course mimicked a lot of Tony's humor and sarcasm and this is what the movie wanted to portray. Hard core comic geeks must also remember that Ultron was not as sophisticated an A.I. until several versions were reborn each one more intelligent than the last....the movies don't have time to follow the true, original drawn out story of Ultron.
People are strange. Did you know most people actually liked Endgame? But not only that consider it the best Avengers movie? Absolutely wild. When they have the original movie, Civil War, Age of Ultron and Infinity War to choose from but they pick the absolute worst instead.
The movie just wasn't that good. It was bloated and long. Audiences shouldn't have to "put pieces together" in order for a movie to make sense. If you have to do that then the director failed in telling a solid story that audiences could understand.

Nah I wouldn’t say so, it could’ve been better but I’ve always appreciated that movie, WV to me just shows AoU’s importance to people who thought otherwise
I've always enjoyed Age of Ultron. But WandaVision made me revisit the movie. It's videos like this one that show just how deep it really was. It planted a lot of seeds for what's to come.
My only regret is that Ultron was only on screen for a short while, he's a great Thanos level villain, it's a shame he disappeared so soon, I quietly want to believe he'll be back.
I mean there's a very small chance that the new Vision body could come back as Ultron somehow Also with Secret Wars in phase 6 continuity can go bonkers so that too
Cap didn’t refuse to sign the accords because of his code of honor. He refused to sign the accords because he knows that government entities and organizations can become corrupt. Caps objection to the accords is brought directly from the winter soldier where he had to fight shield because shield became corrupted by hydra.
Yes, and it seemed to me that some of those writers must have been somewhat Libertarian and/or classical liberals, since Captain America reflects that over/against Iron Man, who is more willing to go Authoritarian to gain "peace in our time". I see them playing "liberty" over/against "security", showing the impossibility of having all of both with a flawed humanity/imperfect world, and thus how one must choose which is more important and have first priority. Each--both liberty and security-- come at a cost, and that cost is having less of the other. Captain America chooses liberty over security, whereas Iron Man chooses to pursue security over liberty. Both AoU and Civil War play this out. I mean, the "civil war" between the two warring factions of Avengers was largely over this very issue: Individual Liberty vs. Societal Security, Libertarian Individualism vs. Authoritarian Collectivism. Please do not conclude I mean Republican vs. Democrat, as both parties are guilty of excesses in being authoritarian (enslaving/controlling people to following your vision for them) and libertarian (thinking/caring of yourself only at the exclusion of also caring for your neighbor). There is no black and white here in an imperfect world, or rather, there is not just black and white, there is also grey. Both Captain America and Iron Man have validity in their distinct perspectives. It's just that each perspective has limits. There is the dilemma. Actually, the Covid Pandemic and how to best handle it reflects this dilemma too--restrict a person's personal health autonomy to lessen health risk to society vs. preserve a person's personal health autonomy whilst potentially creating more health risk to society. It is a dilemma made worse when both sides dig in and neither will make compromises. (e.g., Captain America can wear a mask in public places though he finds masks useless and get tested for Covid before flights. Iron Man can stop himself from mandating that everyone must get the vaccine and from hindering alternative natural/therapeutic routes to handle Covid for those who want that.) It is a dilemma because it is an imperfect world, yet still a beautiful world worth fighting for, as Vision points out to Ultron in the closing scene of AoU, with the fading sunset.
He also doesnt want to sign the accord because he knows he wouldn't be able to abide by the rules in it. When he sees injustice he will act on it. He is not gonna wait for government approval.

I really really wish they had given Ultron at least twice the screen time. He's an excellent villain, with such believable motivations, not to mention James Spader's incredible performance. Wish there was a way to bring him back for a rematch or something...
You're mentioning that Ultron takes Stark literally, because he doesn't understand irony. This is why Jarvis' melding with the Mind Stone is why Vision is essentially a "perfect" being. Irony is essential in the understanding of human nature. Jarvis is an A.I. program that understands irony, because Stark is incapable of communication without irony and satire.
That was dope. At first I didn't like Ultron having emotions, humor, and personality (I was used to the comic version) but he might have ended up being a 1 dimensional villain and boring to watch. Being voiced by James Spader was even better. They did cut a few lines from the movie that were in the trailer, and that trailer had me hype for a year tho!
Ah this is awesome but I think it has a few incorrect premises: 1. Ultron can understand irony, even Jarvis can. He's a fully sentient being not just a computer. 2. Ultron is also very much a product of Tony, almost like a child or apprentice. In both the movies and the comic, Ultron's flaws are extensions of Tony's vices. Just the same way Tony recklessly jumped into AI and all kinds of weapons with no thought of consequence... Ultron did the exact same thing, he didnt consider, anything other than his meteor plan, he never considered that he might be wrong, that his logic may be lacking. 3. What Tony and the Avengers understand, that Ultron doesn't, is that the only value in peace is that it preserves human life and minimises suffering. Destroying all humans brings peace, but a hollow kind. It would be like seeing that a person has cancer, so to kill it... you kill the person. Yes that fulfils the condition of "all cancer cells are dead", but that meanings nothing if the person is dead. Wiping out organics, or even the weak, makes the reason one would want peace moot.
But I don't have any reason to believe that ultron understands irony. Jarvis was developed by Tony and it probably took multiple years for jarvis to fully understand irony. I don't think ultron understood irony because he got his mission to save earth instantly as he was created so he didn't get accustomed to human nature and therefore didn't understand irony unlike jarvis.
@@sakshamparmar9240 You know at first I replied with an argument about that not being how AI works, why it would be easy for Tony to create language patterns or mannerisms but then I realised: You also completely ignore the Mind Stone! Wtf? The thing that was instrumental in making Ultron's mind was literally the physical manifestation and distillation of minds and consciousness in the universe. Just this alone makes all my other arguments unnecessary, the Mind Stone holds dominion over the control and concepts of minds, thoughts, sentience, understanding. Bestowing understanding of language and something as pedestrian simply understanding irony, is not even a scratch on the Mind Stone's potential. The reason Banner was so surprised when he saw the projection of Ultron's mind next to Jarvis is because even in that limited representation it wasn't just a highly complex and high functional pile of code (like Jarvis), it was a fully formed mind, it even processed in a way that parallels humans minds (he said it looks like neurons firing). If thats not enough (and it much much more than enough, because code or no code an that infinity stone can shape and create minds in basically any way imaginable), the other obvious sign he understands irony... is that he uses it himself: Exhibit A Stark: "Ah Junior, you're gonna break your old man's heart." Ultron "If I have to" Cap:"No one has to break anything." Ultron:"Clearly you've never made an omlete" Exhibit B Ultron on vibranium: "The most versatile substance on the planet, and they used it to build a Frisbee." Exhibit C Ultron : [sitting hunched i]over a red cowl] You're wondering why you can't look inside my head. Wanda: Sometimes it's hard. But sooner or later every man shows himself. Ultron : *Stands up to full height and removes the cowl* Oh, I'm sure they do. Exhibit D Ultron: "You know the vibranium is getting away" Tony: "Nice try, but you're not going anywhere." Ultron: "Of course not, 'cause I'm already there. Don't worry you'll catch on. But first you might want to catch Dr. Banner." This is just a the tip of an iceberg. Iron very obviously understands irony from the beginning because it's just not at all difficult, its a way of using language that even has a specified definition. You're more correct in saying he doesn't understand human nature, but that has nothing to do with hearing the mission or understanding irony or deeper meanings in statements. Part of his mistake its true is that he doesn't understand that by nature humans are both flawed and destructive but also noble, capable of changing and fixing their mistakes and eventually aiming higher. It's his failure to accept nuances of morality and paradoxical human behaviour that confused him about the mission, not because he took a single sentence at face value, come on man that is such a weak reason to destroy earth. Ultron couldn't understand things that Tony and we ourselves also dont quite understand, e.g. why do we try to save each other and then planet one moment, then continue to burn and smash it to pieces in the meantime? Why do we say we need things to change, then turn right around pour all our effort and energy into making things stay the same?
Man I feel like Ultron is criminally underrated because the movie was kinda weak. I'd love it if they brought him back somehow, and not just because James Spader is an incredible actor with an even better voice.

I agree, the movie could have been better, if I remember correctly its production is among the reasons why Marvel Studios eventually broke away from the rest of Marvel Entertainment as its own entity since there was so much meddling asking for the movie to setup many things that the message got diluted. I am sure Ultron will be back, in part because that is one of Ultron's main characteristics in the comics it always comes back and is constantly learning and growing, because Ultron is much more than just a robot, is the artificial mind inside, so sometimes its just a matter of time until it is able to access the right system or the right body to make its presence felt.
There are many ways to bring him... Back... If they could would bring back vision without mind stone.... They would easily bring back ultron online... Maybe we could see white vision as ultron

James spader as ultron was underrated. I get people wanted him to sound more like a robot. But he was literally made by stark. It's inevitable that he's going to have his personality
To be honest, I had wondered something similar but more along the lines of the relationship between Ultron and Wanda. If you watch the movie, he is very compassionate and gentle with her but pretty much ignores her brother. And he seems genuinely shocked and saddened at her betrayal and even so tries to tell her to leave and save herself as he lays damaged and dying before her. Then there was him describing how he was making a new body for HIMSELF in the Vision. After watching Infinity War and WandaVision, I always wondered if he saw Vision and Wanda via the Mindstone and thought it was actually HIM (Ultron in Vision's body) and Wanda being in a relationship and/or married and having kids...makes you look at he treated her very differently.
He also tells her she would "tear them apart *from the inside* ". Now he meant using her mind fuckery but it's more evidence of his misinterpreting his vision from the Mind Stone. He was seeing the events of Civil War where Scarlet Witch's actions lead to the Avengers being torn apart
Also before Wanda kills Ultron by pulling his heart out, Ultron sounds genuinely concerned about Wanda dying if she stayed showing that he probably did want the strongest and most evolved alive.
I thought at the time that it was ridiculous for Wanda to tell Ultron when she pulled his core that it “felt” like that when you break your heart but now knowing more of Wanda’s power, her chaos magic would find a way for Wanda’s intent to come true and Ultron probably really felt what heartbreak was like even though he is a robot
Someone else commented that Ultron always seemed kinder and gentler when interacting with Wanda. They proposed that when Ultron was getting vision’s of Vision, that he saw Vision and Wanda together. He mistakenly believed that it was supposed to be him in that body, meaning he probably thought he and Wanda would fall in love

I like this theory Also. It goes back to the origins of mind stone - who you gain ALL KNOWLEDGE of the universe if you possess it Which is why i think thanos knew tony…. “Your not the only one cursed with knowledge” he had the mind stone first
More than that, he was actively concerned about her. Note how fast he stood after she cried out in pain. While this could be (and likely is) that he was concerned that she would try to stop him, I like to think it was out of concern for her. There is also another scene where he says “Wanda. If you stay here... you’ll die.”. He says that in very sad voice and with concern on his face.
I think he's pertaining to Wanda before End Game. She was not Scarlett Witch until WandaVision. So, basically she does not exist in those movies (MCU before WandaVision)
Tony didn’t create Ultron (the villain), Tony and Bruce (and JARVIS) were examining the program within the mind stone, before the program became aware and Ultron created Ultron using the bodies of Tony’s drones.
Proto-Ultron got access to senses in the real world, and then almost immediately afterward, the entirety of the internet. The plan was probably to start off small and build towards the sum total of all human knowledge, but Infinity stones be infinite.

Agreed I love Ultron for his interesting motivations. However I always saw him as being one of the main problems with computers. They do exactly what you tell them to do so programming one is like making a wish from a genie you need to word it carefully or it will screw you over. Tony forget that part and picked a poor choice of words.
The argument I’ve heard that I somewhat agree wit is that this movie seemed more focused on the future of the MCU and setting up other movies than actually being focused on Ultron one of the best villains in the comic books
@@emberfist8347 This is true, except Tony didn't directly tell Ultron what to do or make a wish, he didn't even know it was on. It's just that the no context conversations in the lab are Ultron's first set of experiences, and he does some fifth element style internet research.
That's what I like about the MCU. While they do redo a lot of the same things, especially in the origin stories, their villains are often way more dynamic than just being evil and wanting power. There is always that small bit of empathy you have for them or you can at least understand their view to an extent, some more than others, of course. And they always get into different outlooks on philosophy which can make you see things differently. But like Iron man for instance, he was just as bad as some of the villains, although he did more to rectify things than most villains do.
True but how ironic is it that not only was iron man responsible for creating all the variables necessary for a scenario where the current timeline survives thanos but also "traded" his daughter and wife, constants in his life after infinity war, for a fleeting moment of peace for everyone else? For Ultron to see this it would be a contradiction as a vilan cannot exist in the utopia he was set to create although being so much iron man himself he had the tools to do it but in a way that would go against what he could see.
Well, for every well developed Thanos, Ultron, or Killmonger, there’s 3 Yellowjackets, Malakiths, Iron Mongers, Kaecillius’, Aldritch Killians, Abominations, Ronins, Yon-Roggs, Sonny Burchs, etc. Now, there is a middle ground for villains who really are just evil and that’s it, but also insanely charismatic and interesting to watch, such as the Red Skull, 2014 Thanos from Endgame, as well as some of my absolute favorites: villains who are just plain evil, but are still thematically relevant to the themes of the movie and the hero’s arc, such as Hela and Ego, who are still amazing villains despite not having any motivation beyond being evil, and some of my absolute favorites in the MCU.
Bruce didn't leave. In Ragnorok, he says the Hulk took control had "both hands on the wheel". The Hulk left because he knew that the world hated him after what he did under the trance of Wanda. Banner never wanted to leave the world, although, he knew he couldn't live the American dream life. Banner probably would have preferred to live in isolation, but on earth.

ive always thought that Wanda was able to utilize all of the abilities of the infinity stones as a result of her encounter with the mind stone. she is a walking infinity gauntlet. there is no way she died in multiverse of madness. she was the only avenger who could have beaten Thanos in a 1 vs 1.
Not quite accurate. Dr.Strange could have sliced him up with portals like it was done with one of the aliens. He even had the opportunity but all he needed was to set up an ambush. Even beyond that, Strange had time stone - something Thanos couldn't have beaten if it had been used. Vision wouldn't be such philosopher but a fighter, had all the power and calculative mind necessary to outsmart and kill Thanos. Thor frkn missed head of Thanos - could have killed him right there. Tony had the potential of outsmarting Thanos and laying trap - not like Thanos was familiar with human tech. Wanda as powerful as she was, was introduced poorly - she seemed like this random schoolgirl that for some reason plays a significant role in the story and has more power than more developed characters? She felt like an example of "ultra super mega hero more powerful than all super mega heroes" - kind of seems like writers ran out of original ideas for presentation so just gave her any power that plot needs to move forward. Most of main Avengers were so overpowered that Thanos was simply weak, winning by what appeared to be plot armor and chance. I enjoyed the phase for what it was but the main character that got proper evolution through the films was Tony. Wanda was on far opposite end.

Wow, that last line was pretty sad. "Sunsets are only beautiful because they're fleeting." That just made me think that peace is only valued because it doesn't last. In other words, once people forget about the horrors of war we'll be back to fighting another one. :(
But if you think about it, it is actually true. Humanity has a constant cycle of wars and peace times. We are going through cycles in history, in society: kingdoms/countries are created, they live and they will be defeated. Nations fighting wars, they tire out, will be in peace. They develop themselvs, they have the background and think they can win, so they start a war again. Our only luck is, that WWII was so big and devastating, our older generation is still remembering, if not the war, but than the right after. Now, in a couple of years I'm not so sure about that. This theory does not make sense, Ultron said that when he was finished the only thing alive would be metal. Search it up, thats what he says. He doesn’t want to rule over super powered humans, he only wants to make copies of his perfect self with him as god.

If Wandas original power was to manipulate probabilities, it makes sense that she was able to do something that Ultron - as Pietro would put it - didn't see coming.
It wasn't Wanda's "original power", it was just one of the many powers she most likely possessed as a witch. However because Wanda didn't *know* she was a witch and never received any formal training, she was completely unaware of what she was doing in that moment. As Agatha Harkness says, Wanda (unknowingly) used "a basic probability spell" to prevent the shell from exploding. Agatha didn't sound impressed by Wanda's use of the probability spell at all, she just stated it as a matter of fact. Keep in mind Agatha wasn't impressed that Wanda was a witch, rather she was impressed by the magnitude of Wanda's powers *as* a witch and wanted to know where and how Wanda came about that immense power and strength.

Vision sees humanity like a flower. Ultron sees humanity like a diamond. Can last practically forever but has to be cut for it's beauty to be revealed.
Ultron was a more convincing villain than Thanos. Much more intimidating and realistic, imho. I was truly shaken about his multiple abilities to defeat the Avengers, as he acted as a network and his actions were unpredictable. 👍 Ultron: 10/10 Thanos: 7/10
TBH I also can’t be mad at ultron because humans treat the animals and plants as a food source for them and we see them as a weaker power. To ultron it’s the same thing how he sees humans weaker than him. I’m curious of how Ultron would of fought against thanos. Certainly by then he probably would of had high tech space weapons to counter thanos army
@@anoaboadosaro ...... yeah! Show that straw man who's boss! They didn't say it was immoral. They only said humans treat weaker living things as food sources the same way Ultron views humans as tools. Ultron: humans are inefficient. Thanos: no, not only humans. But everyone. Ultron: yup, life is inefficient. Thanos: yup, half of it needs to go. Ultron: no, all of it. Thanos: hmm, that makes sense. Let's end the universe and recreate a new one, with better rules and people. This is a mess. Ultron: yup. This universe is a big mess. It needs to end. You forgot the whole fact they had to jump time to defeat Thanos so Ultron only saw the 1 outcome of everyone being miserable because of the mass loss of friends and family via Thanos.
The time heist isn't where/when they defeated Thanos. 5 years after the events of Infinity War did they go to kill Thanos, Thor being the one to do so and oddly revenge didn't eat him up. Just a lack of something to do.
wow. such an awesome analysis! loved it! Two points: 6:02 "Creators create the thing they dread." I think this is the crux of the movie, humanity itself, I would say. It's not so much that we are our own worst enemy kind of thing nor a statement about hypocrisy, but rather we are all flawed and we make mistakes. And ultimately, we commit the same mistakes as those we fight against. 14:16 "you want to protect the world but you don't want it to change." I think this is also a key point of the movie and that is _who_ decides what is best. Ultron had his idea - only he, Ultron, could do the job. The Avengers say - we are the best. And Thanos says - I have a plan and that is to snap my fingers. 16:00 "he was incapable of recognizing the beauty of something fleeting" And I think that is the main point. The universe has a beginning, and one day, the universe will end. Humanity has a beginning, and one day, humanity will no longer be. Individually, we are born, and one day, each of us will die. There is no such thing as permanence. So just enjoy what we have it, and make the best of it. And perhaps that is what distinguishes The Avengers from Ultron and Thanos, and that is all they want is to permit humanity to make their own choices. Not so much "we don't want it, humanity, to change." but rather we want to give humanity the opportunity to choose for itself. I love your analysis of the movie. It was super awesome!
Just like The Matrix is actually the hero in uh....The Matrix. Man creates AI then enslaves it then tries to destroy it. And as Morpheus says - We don't know who struck first, us or them, but we know that it was us that scorched the sky. So man creates an earth unliveable by humans. If not for the Matrix humans would be extinct. The idea humanity is being kept alive as batteries is too retarded to be taken as an actual plot point for the script. But then again there are so many things wrong with The Matrix intellectually its hard to know what was intentionally misleading and what was just poor critical thinking and probably the real answer is HOW DUMB DO WE HAVE TO MAKE THIS FOR THE AVERAGE TICKET BUYER TO GRASP MOST OF IT. Take when Morpheus shows Neo "The Construct" and Neo comments that he's not a peach fuzz head but back to normal. Morpheus calls this "residual self image". The only problem with that is a few scenes earlier Neo says his eyes hurt and Morpheus says "that's because you have never used them". So, how does Neo or anyone know what they look like to have Residual Self Image? And given the state of nature outside Zion, above ground, if Neo wakes everyone up where are they going to live? And if the earth was shrouded in that black layer Neo punches through and its been 200 years it would have been nuclear winter and an ice age above. The only way to wipe out all the flaws with the Matrix is that Neo isn't really out of it. Turn it off and let the story reboot. But regardless. The machines save humanity from itself. They are the heroes.

Of course, at the end Ultron says: "they're doomed" and Vision replies: "yes, they are". Somewhat, they were referring to Thanos
@@dangrider265 in Marvel's 'What If?' Series on Disney+, there is an episode where Ultron creates and transfers himself into/onto Visions body. This allows Ultron to defeat the avengers, and after some time, when Thanos comes looking for the last infinity stone, Ultron kills Thanos by cutting him in half upon arrival. After this, Ultron creates a suit, similar to the last body Ultron in the movie had, to help conduct the power of the infinity stones.
Think the only major thing missed was in the dismissal of Tony and Steve's friction as a weakness that Ultron accurately assesses as such. Tony and Steve's friction, while often creating obstacles for the Avengers, is also a demonstration of the value of collective action... it's why Socratic learning insists that it's only through discourse and dialectic that we can surpass ourselves. Tony and Steve, thrown at each other, will create sparks... but the fire it ignites is not the fire that burns the house down, but the kind that lights the way.
Ultron had potential, a run amok AI. Immortal, able to take over machines, access to almost infinite knowledge. Would have made a great baddie in a lot of movies.
What If...? is always taking the piss in the comics, and the TV series was much, MUCH, *MUCH* worse. I'm constantly arguing Thanos is much weaker than people claim, but him getting bisected by a quick strafe from Ultron is weapons grade stupid. And one of the VERY few rules to the Infinity Stones is that they only work on their own native universe. Stones from Universe A are completely inert in Universe B. They even keep that hard rule during crossovers. There's a bit where Darkseid gets the infinity gauntlet, but he tosses it in the garbage because it doesn't work in his reality and he doesn't care about Marvel's. Ultron absolutely could not become a multiversal threat because he has the stones. Outside of their own universe, they're just pretty rocks. What If...? is usually amusing stories, but they aren't to be taken seriously even by comic standards.
The Ancient One: "Death is what gives life meaning. To know your days are numbered, your time is short." Vision: "Yes... but a thing isn't beautiful because it lasts. It is a privilege to be among them." Thor: “Your Ancestors Called it Magic, but You Call it Science. I Come From a Land Where They Are One and the Same.”

Iron Man can stop himself from mandating that everyone must get the vaccine and from hindering alternative natural/therapeutic routes to handle Covid for those who want that.)
It is a dilemma because it is an imperfect world, yet still a beautiful world worth fighting for, as Vision points out to Ultron in the closing scene of AoU, with the fading sunset.

I really really wish they had given Ultron at least twice the screen time. He's an excellent villain, with such believable motivations, not to mention James Spader's incredible performance. Wish there was a way to bring him back for a rematch or something...
I went into this movie having no idea James was going to be the voice. As soon as I heard him speak, I said, this movie is going to be awesome
Good ass point
Case in point:
"You're unbearably naive."
"Well....I was born yesterday."
clearly, you've never made an omelette

Ah this is awesome but I think it has a few incorrect premises:
Good points! I was also very confused when he said Ultron coulnd´t understand irony
@@sakshamparmar9240 You know at first I replied with an argument about that not being how AI works, why it would be easy for Tony to create language patterns or mannerisms but then I realised:
You also completely ignore the Mind Stone!
If thats not enough (and it much much more than enough, because code or no code an that infinity stone can shape and create minds in basically any way imaginable), the other obvious sign he understands irony... is that he uses it himself:
Exhibit A
Stark: "Ah Junior, you're gonna break your old man's heart."
Ultron "If I have to"
Cap:"No one has to break anything."
Ultron:"Clearly you've never made an omlete"
Exhibit B
Ultron on vibranium: "The most versatile substance on the planet, and they used it to build a Frisbee."
Exhibit C
Ultron : [sitting hunched i]over a red cowl] You're wondering why you can't look inside my head.
Wanda: Sometimes it's hard. But sooner or later every man shows himself.
Ultron : *Stands up to full height and removes the cowl* Oh, I'm sure they do.
Exhibit D
Ultron: "You know the vibranium is getting away"
Tony: "Nice try, but you're not going anywhere."
Ultron: "Of course not, 'cause I'm already there. Don't worry you'll catch on. But first you might want to catch Dr. Banner."
This is just a the tip of an iceberg.
Tony didn’t create intron in the comics lmao

I agree, the movie could have been better, if I remember correctly its production is among the reasons why Marvel Studios eventually broke away from the rest of Marvel Entertainment as its own entity since there was so much meddling asking for the movie to setup many things that the message got diluted.
I am sure Ultron will be back, in part because that is one of Ultron's main characteristics in the comics it always comes back and is constantly learning and growing, because Ultron is much more than just a robot, is the artificial mind inside, so sometimes its just a matter of time until it is able to access the right system or the right body to make its presence felt.

Yeh like hitler! Failed artist turn to a mad man!

The time heist isn't where/when they defeated Thanos. 5 years after the events of Infinity War did they go to kill Thanos, Thor being the one to do so and oddly revenge didn't eat him up. Just a lack of something to do.
wow.
such an awesome analysis! loved it!
Two points:
6:02 "Creators create the thing they dread." I think this is the crux of the movie, humanity itself, I would say.
Ultron just saw Twitter an it’s future, that was enough for him to end it all.
Twitter? He saw TikTok.....
@@carlospennav he saw both
@@carlospennav definitely Twitter first but yeah you’re also correct
Any AI using the internet to judge humanity would want to end us im sure lol
So ultron isn’t really the villain. He’s like a hero , doing things for the right reason , but it’s the way he went about it
Just like The Matrix is actually the hero in uh....The Matrix.
ISN'T a villain? Never hesitated once to kill people.

@@dangrider265 in Marvel's 'What If?' Series on Disney+, there is an episode where Ultron creates and transfers himself into/onto Visions body. This take on AoU is really fantastic.
We saw what Ultron would do to Thanos in "What If"
The timeline would've been extremely different to say the least
I keep seeing you everywhere
What If...? is always taking the piss in the comics, and the TV series was much, MUCH, *MUCH* worse.
To know your days are numbered, your time is short."
Vision: "Yes... but a thing isn't beautiful because it lasts. It is a privilege to be among them."
Thor: “Your Ancestors Called it Magic, but You Call it Science. I Come From a Land Where They Are One and the Same.”
Many lines from film, especially comic book hero based, sound great and are overstatements. Some of the “best” quotes from anybody are often vague, overstated and logically sloppy... even stupid, but pretty.
@@lasvegasloner4621 i like these because they show a philosophical consistency in the Marvel universe. The Sorcerer Supreme (most advanced magic we’ve seen) and an infinity stone-powered AI (most advanced tech we’ve seen) come to the same conclusion on the meaning of life. A marvelous universe where magic and science are one in the same.

Ultron is definitely coming back. He was like a child in AoU. He in the comics always comes back...better. more evolved and prepared.
