If you would like to have a kit body send me a message on my website:
magicatticguitars.com/
This was a prototype of a multi-layer guitar build. I used 3mm thick poplar plywood because it is lightweight and easy to cut. Next time I will probably change the first and last layer for birch to make it harder and more wear resistant. And when I perfect the design I will offer kit bodies that will fit the Stratocaster neck so you can build your own guitar with this 3d effect.
I really enjoy experimenting with my guitar builds. Let me know if you find this kind of content useful or enjoyable to watch. I’m making these videos for you and would love to hear your thoughts to make the best content possible in the future.
Disclaimer: Two Trees sent me their TS2 laser cutter free of charge to test and review.
I was not obligated to say anything positive about the product. But I must say I really like it.
It is an incredible machine and I would recommend it to anyone in the market of a laser cutter.
Here are all the product from Two Trees that I tested and can recommend:

I love the geometric design and depth in the layers here. It looks really cool! And the added lines on the knobs is like icing on the cake. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks Seth!
This is spectacular. The level of planning and detail is incredible.
Thanks Tim.
So friggin talented my friend!
Thanks Tye!
my favourite youtubers are always pushing the limits of creativity, trying new stuff, and you are definitely in that league my friend. The body is awesome and reminds me of the approach of 1000errors plywood "flower of life" lamp builds... OMG the rotational burn on the knob was completely extra and I love it
This is very nice to hear. Thank you my friend!
The idea turned out great!!!
I love this
Not only it's interesting and artistic, it also reduce weight
I love the colour scheme
Thank you very much.
Awesome cool looking guitar can't wait for your next video I enjoy them so much that's awesome
Thank you Jim! I just saw that you commented on all of my videos. So many nice words. I'm flattered. I will take some time and read through all of them. Thank you very much my friend!
Love it! It's got a great Gatsby 1920s art deco vibe and in into it. Great work man!👍
Thank you Miles!
You always make beautiful guitars. Taking it up a level everytime
Thanks Jurgen!
Well done. Awesome idea and build. Stunning.
This is absolutely Incredible!
The amount of thought and work you put in is Insane.
Extremely well done man.
It's unfortunate that I haven't found your channel earlier. Subbed.
Again awesome build. Very excited to see your other creations.
Thanks man. I'm so happy to hear that. Welcome on board:)
hot damm! Another killer build, also that 5th axis for the laser is a crazy addition to the laser, never seen it done in such a way
Thanks bro. Yes this laser is awesome.
I just had the idea to do this last night then I see your video today! Brilliantly executed. Happy to have seen your process there’s a lot of similarities in taste and there’s a few differences. Looking forward to seeing your ceramic guitar next
Your guitar builds always come out really nice.
Thanks Ron!
This is absolutely incredible. Very unique and interesting design!
Thank you very much!
I love the end result. congratulations for the work done
Thanks Vinz!
Im very Impressed. it looks truly amazing. you've put a lot of hard work into that. well done! :)

Amazing build, I love all the details on this guitar
Nice work man
Thanks George!
Absolutely amazing. Very interesting design and a stunning end result. Subscribed!
Thanks man!
That sits very comfortably between brilliant and genius......superb
Thanks Philip!
Usually I can't shut up, but this made me speechless. WOW! :)
That's nice to hear man. Thanks!
Dang! I had a very similar idea and you beat me to it! Excellent execution my friend. Well done.
Sorry man I had to do it :) We should do a collab one time. What do you think?
Thanks man!
@@MagicAtticGuitars I’d be down for that!
wowww!
This was absolutely beautiful!!
Thanks 😊
Such a great eye for design! I love this. My brain is thinking of the 3D scenes someone could compose with layers like this!
Thanks Chris! This would probably look very nice on a large scale. Maybe some architectural parts.
Beautiful. Creative and innovative.
Такого исполнения гитар я ещё не видел. Хотелось бы её послушать. Но, внешне - СУПЕР!!! Очень красивая!!! 👍😍
Thanks man!
Very impressive!
This is beyond awesome. 🔥
Thanks man!
That is a magnificent guitar man, awesome !
Thanks man!
wow, another beautiful design, love it.
Thanks Martyn!
@@MagicAtticGuitars You're welcome
Super cool idea! 👍
Thanks Chris!
amazing build with the exception to the drywall screws holding the neck to the body
Haha finally someone noticed. It is a temporary fix for this prototype. Thanks!
That's mindblowingly cool
Thanks Michael!
oh man! this is going to be epic
Thanks man!
Beautiful !!
Thanks!
Beautiful work
Thanks.
Excellent use of the layers to create the 3D effect. It looks great! I would not want to do that glue-up though 🤣
Thanks man. I was afraid that glue up will be a mess but it went very well.
Really incredible build!
Thank you very much!
You, mate, are by far the most creative guitar builder I know of. Only Spalt in Austria could compare, I guess. If you ever need helpers, open a public contest and there's bound to be loads of applicants. Way to go, rock on!
Hvala brate! Da, Spalt je super. Ovo je baš veliki kompliment.
Experimental yet classy 👌
Thanks 😊
Awesome love it!
Thanks 😊
Very nice! 😍
This is artwork!!
Thank you Justin!
wild! good work
Thanks man!
wow!!!
i had no idea that there were laser cutters?!?!
amazingly beautiful guitar
i also really like the headstock- straight string path
rounded fret ends
gold foil p'ups
beautiful
good work
be safe, be happy, work hard
peace \m/
Thanks man 🤘
That is one sweet design
Thanks
Great build!
It would have been nice to see the full guitar though.
Not just close-ups and the body.
Love your use of new techniques and equipment. Make the videos longer, I watch at 0.5x speed. If its too slow, others can speed the video up on their own.
Really well done. A kit body would be a good idea.
Thanks Brian! If you seriously want a kit body you can contact me on my website. (Magicatticguitars.com).
Trabalho muito criativo e o resultado é bem interessante. Deve ser uma terapia pra vc; pra mim seria. Parabéns!
Thank you.
Good job.
Additionally you can try to make not similar layers.
In result -you will have an effect like in baroque guitar rosettes.
I've thought of that also. Might look cool.
Very cool!
Thanks Rob!
very cool very inspirational
Thanks:)
So cool
Thanks man.
OmG ❤ sir 🤝 you didn't make an ordinary guitar, you created an incredibly beautiful sculpture.
Absolute respect.
I've been playing the guitar for over 20 years, I've seen beautiful guitars, but what you've done is a work of art. With a tear in my eye,
I ask about the price ?
Best regards and congratulations on the level of design you have achieved.
Thanks 🤝 Maryush 🇵🇱
Hi Maryush. Thank you for your beautiful words. I'm flattered. You can contact me on my website and we can talk about it. I would be happy to build a guitar for you.
In the first and the last plywood layer you can try to glue a veneer (for example walnut)before laser cutting (I know --it is a not ideal idea --maybe laser will spoil borders of veneer, but it is need to test)
That's actually a very good idea. Thanks!
Happy birthday bro!
Thanks Bro!
INTERESTED!!!
Awsome design,great work,Godbless
Thanks 😊
@@MagicAtticGuitars Your welcome Godbless
Odlična ideja in izvedba! Komaj čakam naslednji video in "sound check"!
Excellent 👍👍👍👍❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thanks John! 😊
definitely interested in your idea for a Strat body build!
Awesome. You can contact me on my website and we can arrange something.

You could possibly do a resin pour and give it some even more depth...? and for all them RGB peeps. Add in some lighting or something xD
I think led lights could look cool. Great idea. Thanks!
Love the laser cut design! I've got a Glowforge and would love to find a template so I could make my own as well.
今まで見たギターの中で一番カッコイイ
Thanks!
Very cool. I'm just glad I don't have to keep it clean.
Thanks Christopher. And I'm glad I have a compressor and an air gun:)
Great Guitar build Sir did you or you should have enter into the Great Guitar Build Off that Crimson Guitar has each Year maybe you should Try in 2023 May we hear more of you Playing 👍🏻
PS. Could you do a Bass Guitar? Sweet Guitar
Thanks Gregory. I have been participating in the ggbo for three years. Also got a 3th place the first year, 1st place the second and 2th place in 22. Bass build is probably coming up soon. I'm planning to build one this spring. Thanks!
@@MagicAtticGuitars I will be waiting for it thanks
Good!!
Thanks!
This looks very nice! How's the weight and balance?
Thanks man. It's pretty light but still well balanced.
I am impressed ! Where did you get the idea for this, you madman ! Love the look, it is thinking totally out of the box. Great work.
Thanks man. I've seen people making multi layer mandalas. So I combined the idea with guitar building:)
Wow, imaginasi yang tinggi, ❤❤❤❤
Thanks!
@@MagicAtticGuitars you'r wellcome 🙏🙏🙏
Looks amazing, and those fret ends are dressed perfectly. But you have to at least strum it once!
Thanks. I used to bother my friends to play it at the end of the video. But I couldn't get him at the moment. I will do my best to get him to record a demo and post it to my Instagram. I'm not the best person to play for recordings.
Какая КРАСОТА!!! МОЛОДЕЦ!!!🤩👍
Thank you Vlad!
wow!
Thanks!
@@MagicAtticGuitars you’re welcome :)
niceeee
Thanks
if the first layer was in "real" wood it will be a very very very nice guitar . with a "strat" neck and pickups it will be so good either ...very good work and idea. keep on the good work .
I agree. My first idea was to rout out a piece of walnut and then inlaying this design into it with a walnut top. But I had to make sure first it will work out so I made this as a prototype. Thanks man!
Amazing! (But tricky to clean, no?).
Easy wit air compressor 😁 Or just wit a brush. Thanks man!
Looks very nice! How is the sustain?
You must love glue ups!
But the end result is worth it.
Not really 😁 But as you said. It was worth it. Thanks!
It would be nice to hear it play. It looks terrific but a guitar is all about the sound. I have recently bought a laser and I really want to try some 3D projects. Would you sell the SVG for the guitar and the neck?
Parabéns 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🇧🇷
Thank you!
I’m in for a kit 🎉
Awesome. You can contact me on my website. Magicatticguitars.com. and we can arrange something. Thanks Tim!
Fantastic! Did you have any trouble with glue squeeze out?
Thanks Mark. Not at all. I was very careful to apply justvthe right amount of glue. And I waited for a minute after application so the wood soaked it in a little bit.
same guitar with a blend of wood / carbon fiber would nice. Even a copper layer too.
That's an awesome idea. Thanks man!
Hi, could you link me to where I can buy those beautiful gold humbucker covers?
Is there a svg file you have so I could try to make one at home?
Wonderful design... How much does the base template cost to replicate the model?
Thanks! Do you mean just the outline template? You can contact me on my website ( magicatticguitars.com). And we can talk about it.
do you have the lightburn file available i will gladly pay i actually want to try this with cardboard 😁
Shes awesome thanks for showing
Thanks!
what's the bridge you're using? (I'm considering my first DIY 7 string through neck for rhythm guitar playing)
It's an ABM single saddle bridge.
I want to listen how it's sounds
Is there any way I can purchase laser files for this body?
To bi blo dobro v živo videt 😁
Se lahko kj zmeniva :)
Hi great stuff. What camera do you use?
Thanks man. I am using Sony a6400.
@@MagicAtticGuitars Ok cool cheers.
Anyway yo have the off cuts remaining and can you send those my way
Where did you get those pickup covers?
Gorilla pickups built them for me like this.
Check him out he is making awesome pickups.
What dimensions was the body if the guitar?
What bridge is that and where can I get one?
It's a ABM guitar parts bridge. Just Google it.
Tell us more about pickups you used. What’s the type, brand?
Oh sorry. I should at least write that in description. Those are custom made pickups from Gorilla pickups. All the pickups I got from this guy sounds amazing.
@@MagicAtticGuitars and looks fantastic :-) Who did the design project? You, or Gorillas ? Is it P90 or humbucker?
@@Spiker66 they are humbuckers. I just told him what kind of design I would like and he built them for me.
@@MagicAtticGuitars thanks,I have to e-mail them to ask for a pair for me ;-) Did the pickups cost a fortune ? ;-)
@@Spiker66 not at all. It's a very good price.
Gran bella chitarra? Complimenti! La chitarra si vende?
Thanks man. This is a prototype. I can make one for you. Contact me on my website. You can find it in description.
What design software did you use?
